Hillgrove was just a few blocks from the harbor. Far enough away so it was quiet and plenty of parking but close enough to walk to the shops, dining and the harbor. There was a grocery store across the street. The breakfast was good. Great value. Would stay there again.

Pros: This hotel is within short walking distance to the center of town with plenty of free parking. The neighborhood is very quiet. Cons: the light in the room and the bathroom is dismal. You can barely see yourself in the mirror. It is extremely difficult to shave, fix hair or apply makeup with this lighting. Not sure what the lighting designers were thinking. The mattress was hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. Generally we like hard mattresses, but this one was like sleeping on stone.

Really nice place in walking distance to pubs & restaurants of Dingle. Great breakfast with a lot of different options especially for vegetarians. The room had one of the best shower I've ever had at hotel / Guesthouse Over all the place is very well maintained & feels like it has been renovated recently. Plenty of free parking on site too. Would highly recommend!

Das Guesthouse ist in guter Lage in Dingle mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen am Grundstück. Das Personal ist sehr nett und gibt gute Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Die Anlage selbst ist teilweise renoviert jedoch fühlt sich alles eher alt und etwas modrig an. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bad modern und in gutem Zustand.

We had a lot vely stay at the Hillgrove. Its location is perfect a few minutes walk from town centre yet nice n quiet. Room was spotless and staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return again.

While it is slightly removed from the central area, this location made it feel safe and peaceful, with the convenience of a Lidl grocery store across the street for picking up wine and snacks. The guesthouse itself is somewhat dated, though the bathroom had been recently renovated. Our room was clean and comfortable; the beds were very good, though the furniture could use updating. Check-in was easy and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Stephen, who was on nights when we returned, truly exemplified Irish hospitality; warm, welcoming and full of helpful tips on what to see and do in the area. The location is excellent, just under 1 km to the information centre on the harbour. After reading some reviews beforehand, we were apprehensive but our experience was great. A clean, comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of Dingle Harbour and main street. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean. My only complaint would be the temperature in the rooms: the weather is warming up, and the design of the hotel allows for little to no airflow in the rooms (small windows facing onto an alley - on the ground floor we didn't feel safe leaving the larger window open when we slept). It would improve guest experiences immensely if Hillgrove were to purchase fans to circulate the air and cool the rooms. The temperature at night was in the high twenties and it was difficult to sleep.

Einfaches aber neues Zimmer, tolles Bad. Schneller und freundlicher Check In und Check out, großer kostenloser Parkplatz vorm Haus, innenstadt binnen weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Aussicht auf eine mauer in ca 2 m Entfernung, störte uns aber nicht. Leider hatten wir eine Gruppe mit jungen Leuten auf dem selben Flur, welche Nachts laut waren. Ansonsten alles ok.

When we arrived it felt as if we were home again. The genuine welcome, the warm smile and the great conversation started at checkin. We were immediately familiarized with the area, personally shown to our room and shown the hotel features along the way. We only stayed one night but regretted we hadn’t booked for more. Steve our host was witty, kind, helpful and oh so representative of the well known Irish hospitality! The room was so clean, the bathroom so modern, nothing amiss with the stay at all. The breakfast was so good before we left. We will definitely go back again

When we arrived it felt as if we were home again. The genuine welcome, the warm smile and the great conversation started at checkin. We were immediately familiarized with the area, personally shown to our room and shown the hotel features along the way. We only stayed one night but regretted we hadn’t booked for more. Steve our host was witty, kind, helpful and oh so representative of the well known Irish hospitality! The room was so clean, the bathroom so modern, nothing amiss with the stay at all. The breakfast was so good before we left. We will definitely go back again

Really nice place in walking distance to pubs & restaurants of Dingle. Great breakfast with a lot of different options especially for vegetarians. The room had one of the best shower I've ever had at hotel / Guesthouse Over all the place is very well maintained & feels like it has been renovated recently. Plenty of free parking on site too. Would highly recommend!

The staff is amazing. The room was clean and nice. They had parking on site which was great for my Ireland road trip. They had hair conditioner which is not available at most hotels. I would 100% recommend.
