Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica

Definitely not worth the money which I paid. Room was dark, dirty, floor absolutely disgusting. My baby had black feet within 5 minutes. Mosquitos which I killed was smashed on the mirror following 3 days until our departure, stinky cupboards and wardrobe, moldy and stale. Outside the veranda was not cleaned whole stay, in front of was no any barrier, danger step to muddy corner. even if I informed the hotel that I will arrive with 1 year old baby, baby cot was not in the room, I Was waiting hours for that. Mattress in the rooms are absolutely crawled, I slept in the hole. Its mostly resort for the kids - after 10pm was parents partying above us so I called the reception, but they didn’t stop moving with the furniture, and loudly talking. All baby seats was filthy and without safety belt in order, The food, while varied, lacked authentic Greek character — you'll eat better outside. If I asked for the alacart restaurant, it was fully booked or free after 9pm - too late for dinner. Day before the departure I was asked if I need anything before we leave. I have arranged transportation for 7:30 and proposed for taking suitcases from the room to the reception. Nobody showed up so I was going by myself with the 2 suitcases over the square to the front door. When I asked for breakfast to go, I have been told, that they don’t do this service. 5*!!!!!!! And they are not able to prepare little breakfast to go!!! Pool and beach was lovely, but this you can find everywhere.

This was undoubtedly one of the best stays of my life. Honestly, it was an amazing vacation in an amazing place. The resort is massive, with plenty of space for all guests to enjoy—whether it’s the beach, pools, or numerous restaurants. The all-inclusive package includes branded international alcohol and truly outstanding cocktails available throughout the resort. The hotel is very family- and child-friendly, featuring a great aqua park with both large and small water slides. But the highlight for me was the garden—an expansive area filled with trees, palm groves, and lush grass. There’s even a small zoo! The word “Botanica” in the name is truly fitting. Before coming, I read a few negative reviews about long queues at the bars. If waiting 3 minutes for a drink is considered too long, I really don’t understand those complaints. The staff are doing an excellent job, always smiling and in a great mood. All you have to do is wait a moment for your drink. The food was delicious every day, with a variety of around 12 dishes including at least three types of meat, plus fish, seafood, loads of salads, fruits, and vegetables. And of course, pizza and pasta are available all day long. The resort also offers four à la carte restaurants that require advance booking. I wasn’t lucky enough to get a spot, but it wasn’t a problem—there was more than enough to enjoy. For the kids, there’s an ice cream shop, a chocolate bar, a popcorn machine, and more.

Excellent hotel. Family friendly, great staff, good food. Beach and pools amazing although none of them heated so can be cold (we were there end of season) didn’t stop us though! Limited entertainment but nice vibe in the piazza area in the evenings.

Costa Botanica is a great hotel - it has good communal areas, bars and the choice of restaurants is really good. There are numerous pools and a private beach, so it feels like there is so much space, it’s never too crowded. The staff are also amazing, they never stop and really prioritise service. Where the hotel is let down is the rooms, they feel dated, damp and dark and really need an update. Hopefully the rooms get a makeover soon to really make this a 5 star resort!
