Super 8 by Wyndham Missouri Valley

The room was clean and property was nice BUT it would have been nice to know that there’s no elevator and we had 3 suitcases going to the 2nd floor.

The breakfast was terrible. The coffee tasted like it was 3 days old. Ice machine was out of order. The side electronic door was disabled so could not be used, and NO TV!! The "dish" was disconnected.

Ice machine broke. Breakfast low level. Easy parking, close to highway, but not the best kept place.

If i would have been able to inspect the room before purchase, that is what i would have done. Dirty bathroom with water on the floor. Big stain on bed cover. Smelled bad. Curtain wouldnt open. Clogged shower drain. Bar of soap the size of a quarter. Cricket chirping in room all night. No elevator. Ice machine broken. Card key not working for back entry door (safety hazard!) Door did not shut properly. I guess its too much to expect a nice clean room for $85. Will absolutely not stay here again.

Bathroom has ants and a big dead spider on floor. They said they cleaned room that day. Service came right away to take care of it. He machine doesnt work. You have to ask for ice.

Had a spacious parking to park our rv. Check in was fast and a friendly staff. Beds were not comfortable but the stay was desent for the price.

Back door was broken and staff said to prop door open with rock. TV didn’t work and shower dispensers were empty. Noisy and disruptive people were above us, and staff was reluctant to resolve the issue

The hotel has recently been remodeled and looks acceptable. But our room's bathroom door would not stay shut and kept opening into the room. The ice machines were non-functioning, no hot water or tea for breakfast. The microwave boiled over everything we tried to heat. And, the TV was not programmed to the remote....which took an hour to figure out. We were not given the WiFi password when we checked in and it was a Hot Spot, not WiFi and kept dropping us and in order to get back on, we had to put the phone number in as the password, which was a real pain if you weren't close to the telephone. Price was way too high for the low quality.

No elevator. Get a room on the first floor

We had 2 rooms. RM 1 had roaches! Big roaches and a lot of them. We killed e to show to staff! We were moved directly above where there was a large hole in the floor under the carpet. A large hole in the bathroom ceiling. The other room rented for family flooded. This place is in very poor shape!

Minimum to zero lights or signs to identity the property . The clerk front desk need to shower, his stench was horrible from 3 feet away. Carpets dirty and need replaced. Bedding unwashed. Bathroom not maintained. Whole property and building needs to be leveled and rebuilt.

We won't return to this hotel. The outside security door was left ajar all night. Our room door opened only about 1/3 way and then had to be scraped across the tile to open it wide enough for our luggage to squeeze through. We found a cricket in the bathroom and several worm-like creatures moving across the floor in multiple places. It appeared the room had not been cleaned at all. The corners were buggy. The fridge door was very wonky to nearly falling off and the headboard of one bed was chipped and peeling. Upkeep is not a priority here, obviously. I couldn't wait to get out of that room. The beds were comfortable, but it was impossible to get any rest for the reasons mentioned above.

There was visible (not hidden) garbage and dust bunnies under the bed. Otherwise clean. Hard pillows. Check-in was good.

Room was moist and smelled strongly of mold - We did not end up staying the night... I opted to drive 2 hours home instead.

This place is terrible. Very Dirty we could not even stay there and they would not refund us our money. It stunk and there was hair all over the toilet.

This hotel is not clean, there was only one other tenant there for the whole hotel. Room was dark, dirty and had a very strong odor. Someone was cooking in the back of their van just outside the door with multiple people just hanging around. Do not feel this hotel is in a safe location.

Dirty room, mold on bathroom ceiling, hair on bathroom floor, smled like mildew and curry. Im not sure what their "coffee" was

Very quiet room was clean and bed comfortable Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

the beds were very uncomfortable. the mattress was more like a flat platform with no cushion. Walls are paper thin. Scotch tape kept together the fire alarm. One electrical outlet was pushed out and cracked in half.

It was ok . Breakfast was small and not much to choose from. Beds were extra firm and didn’t like it. Needed 2 rooms together.

Clean and updated recently. Beds were thin and firm. Shower drain was plugged so had to stand in water while showering.

We had a missing lightbulb in our room and it took her a long time to figure out how to put it in and get it there. TV didn’t have any local channels and was very few channels that. The breakfast is practically nonexistent with a few little buns, two choices of very little and mixed cereal and this juice machine was out of order. The beds were terrible. It was like sleeping on the floor. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms were clean. After I had unpacked and got my Special needs granddaughter settled, I found the AC didn't work. I got a different room and thankfully was right next door. The AC worked but every time it kicked in, it was really loud and woke me up. There is no coffee makers in the rooms. There was no wifi and I was too tired to go to the front desk another time.

The television was slow to boot up and confusing to operate. The shower head in the bath tub didn't work. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Not so great. Front desk people couldn’t speak English very well. When I checked in, I asked if the 2 bottles of water were complimentary for us upon arrival. He said “Yes”. Then I grabbed them after getting room keys and he says “those bottles are ours”.

When we checked in, there was no one in the lobby we had to find them. And then he gave us a little to know information about the hotel.

We have stayed at many Super 8 locations and this was the poorest. At check in there was no information supplied, I had to adk about breakfast time. We were going to dinner right away but if he had told us where to park he wouldn't have to call and tell us to move my car. We were leaving after dropping our bags. No info on check out time, nothing.Breakfast was extremely minimal and NEVER saw front desk staff. Even at check out I guessed to leave the key on the desk with others. Only 2 thin pillows per bed, the floor was uneven so our room door stuck partway, couldn't open all the way unless forced. Floor not vacuumed, finger prints on side table. If stay was more than one noght I would have checked in somewhere else.

When we arrived, had to call for someone to come to the front desk. He had to call someone to process my payment. There was only one room that had a tv. We took it. Very few tv stations. Continental breakast was minimal. One good thing was that AC was good.

Worst hotel experience ever! Left in under an hour and I will be asking for a full refund. Terrible room conditions and extremely unprofessional staff.

I was charged 2 times for one night. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. The cleaner knocked on my door THREE times in half an hour, BEFORE it was check out time. We had a Jacuzzi suite and they would only give us 2 towels

Conveniently located just off the interstate. Hotel was clean and appeared well maintained.

This place had no lights, scary looking, not inviting. Drove past the place three times. I had a very late check in and kept driving due to how ghetto it look. There was no way I was stopping with my kids there

The staff is very friendly and helpful it was quiet and wasy place to rest and the room was awesome i highly recommend super 8 in mo valley iowa was cery satisfied with stay.

This place is a dump and VERY overpriced. First it’s hard to find because it has no sign. A crumbling parking lot greets you when you finally find it. The front desk person barely spoke English. The room we got was upstairs with no elevator. The toilet was dirty. The one, postage stamp size bar of soap had more in common with inert plastic than actual soap. Don’t bother unwrapping it. It doesn’t work! The bed has less give than the dirty floor. It was quite literally as hard as the floor. The one chair was broken. And it was crazy expensive and they had the nerve to charge extra for our dog. Absolutely don’t stay here. It’s a dump.

This was a great stay right off the interstate in a sweet town. We have a 1-year old and there was a great little park and pool not even 5 minutes from us that we went to. Breakfast could have had more options. Otherwise, no complaints!

its in the middle of no where. There is no UBER or Local taxi available in the early morning. I had to hire a limo service to get me to the Eppley Airport. When I asked for assistance from the desk, i was told there is no taxi or Uber in the area. Not helpful at all, and very disappointing

Breakfast could be a little more of a variety

Hotel smelled very clean, but was very dated and looked like it needed some more in the way of decorating. It seemed as if the owners/family of the hotel lived there. Also the breakfast was so plain and option less. They had muffins, bread, cereal, some juice that was not good, and I arrived to get coffee at 730 and it was all gone. I personally select hotels that offer breakfast so I can get on with the day faster, but this breakfast was by far the worse, I have been too, and only 1 hr after breakfast began. Said it went till 9

The friendliness of the check-in staff was the only good point about the hotel. From there on it seem to get worse. The trash can outside the entrance door was full and overflowing with garbage, beer bottles, beer cans, beer cases. The entrance door was sprung so that it wouldn't close without pushing or pulling very hard. Not very good on security. The room smelled musty up on arrival and didn't clear up until the air conditioner was run for quite a while. The pillows were not particularly comfortable on the bed and there was a huge chunk out of the headboard that had never been repaired. When sitting on the side of the bed it made a noise like someone was dumping a garbage truck. The freezer compartment on the small fridge was broken from the top of the unit and hanging down. This is a very old Motel and need of updating and repair. The carpet looked like it was quite old the free breakfast was inadequate. There was no fruit. There was no salt or pepper to put on the boiled eggs. One of the juice Spencers was broken and would not work. The waffle batter was watered down so that it was very very runny. There was no hot water provided to make tea or instant oatmeal. I will not stay here again.

At 7:23am breakfast area was empty. Only cereals and milk available .
