Steam Pier Adventure Hotel

Seafront ist ein kleines, nicht ungemütliches Nest mit sehr wenig Platz. Das Bad schön, an manchen Stellen fehlen Fliesen, als wäre es noch nicht ganz fertig. Haben auf das Puffin im Haupthaus gewechselt- gegen Aufpreis. Wunderschön! Toller Ausblick! Etwas kalt, aber nach einem Anruf hat der Vermieter die Heizung hinaufgedreht. Haben es sehr genossen!

Eine tolle Unterkunft.

Wonderful one night stay. Spacious and well stocked house, spectacular views, friendly and helpful staff. We saw reindeer walk by our house in the morning. Magnificent!

First of all, the place is still being developed, so everything was only half finished, especially the hotel outside areas. The floor heating malfunctioned on the first night and by the time reception was again open in the morning, the room had heated up to 35 °C making sleep utterly impossible during the night. Windows were locked, so it was impossible to open them. Of course, nothing on the room info binder how to handle the room temperature, or maybe instructions for the weird fan they have on the wall. The fan was in any case unresponsive too, so not much help there either. To be fair, I discovered later how to unlock them, but you don't think straight when it's in the middle of the night and you're in distress. After discussing about the problem with the seemingly indifferent staff, I came back later to the hotel and my room to discover that they had fixed the problem by opening up all the windows for the whole day, so a bird had flown in and shat on the floor, so I was wondering if I'm on a candid camera already. 1/10 experience, strong suggestion to stay away from this place.
