Backstage Hotel - an Atlas Boutique Hotel

I have mixed views about this hotel. It is stylish, comfortable, great location and very good customer service. However the 4 floors of bedrooms look down on the lounge/dining room area and hence noise from downstairs carries upwards to the bedrooms. On one night of our stay there was a party on the ground floor. The music was so loud I was able to Shazam the songs from our room on the second floor! I phoned reception to ask when the music would stop and was told 12.30am! I asked if the volume could be turned down and following that it became a little quieter but it didn't stop completely until around midnight. However even on non party nights, the music is quite loud and the sound carries to the rooms. If you like an early night with peace and quiet, this probably isn't the hotel for you! There is also noisy construction work on one side of the hotel which starts at 6.15am - we moved rooms! The rooms have very little storage space - our room 307 had only one drawer and no wardrobe, just a few coat hangers on a rail above the tea/coffee facilities. So it was impossible to fully unpack. Breakfast was good but the buffet is only for bread/pastries and eggs and coffee are to order and other food, whether you want it or not, is brought to the table on a cake stand. Feels a bit pointless and a full buffet would be preferable. In summary, a really nice hotel but I can't help feeling too much attention was paid to the appearance of the hotel rather than practicality.

The property is pet friendly, and we came with our dog. The breakfast was fantastic and the location is great.

Super modernes, ruhiges Hotel in bester Lage. Viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht haben.

The value was terrific. Friendly people cleaners to front desk. The soda, water, seltzer free in the room is really a nice perc. The chocolates at the nite desk was a nice touch. Very clean and comfortable room. Really convenient to everything in town. I would stay again and I am telling people about my 10day trip and that they should stay at Backstage......Outstanding and appreciated.

The overall was just ok not worth the rate, three major issues: 1. Bathroom ok but very small sink no vanity or room to put your stuff. 2. Bed very short about 1.80 meters. 3. No parking and no parking agreement with local parking lots which made the parking very expensive

Took the duplex room was a Perfect room lots of place on 2 floors sharlie the concierge is so helpful and friendly I would definitely go back only default is the parking there is none and parking is far away

The Backstage Hotel is set in a unique building with the court yard. My stay was pleasant but it was only for 2 nights. However some of the rooms I do find it awkwardly shaped. For example I had booked for a decently sized room but I had 2 window bay areas but not a wardrobe, so I had literally nowhere to hang my clothes. In addition, although I had no problem sleeping, the main bar/restaurant is in the courtyard and all the rooms had doors facing the courtyard. In the evening it could get quite loud with the music. The bar was amazing tho with all their home-brewed liquor.

The staff was so accommodating. The hotel was really beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. The room was clean and spacious. The rooftop garden and sitting area was so nice. I would definitely come back.

Great boutique hotel in awesome location close to many shops, cafes and restaurants. Rooms are very quiet, bed was very comfortable and great bathroom and water pressure. Friendly and helpful staff.

Veldig koselig hotell med god atmosfære, veldig god frokost. Sentralt i Tel Aviv. Var kaldt vann i dusjen.

I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanness , warm hostess , convienience , location n etc . During the time of war , their stuff did their best to make every guest feel home n comfortable ! The breakfast is amazing , their service is beyond . Definitely will come back !

Comfortable well-appointed rooms with air conditioning, nice bed, small but modern bathroom. Service was outstanding from the kindly front desk people to the waitress serving brunch (I recommend). The area was just what I wanted--near shopping and restaurants but on a quieter street.

In one ofvthe centers of Tel Aviv, right from the check in throughout our stay the staff was very friendly and gave us the best service experience. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of things to offer everyone from vegans, vegetarians and those who eats everything. Highly recommend.

Beautiful renovated hotel, perfect location. Staff is super nice. Because of the war a small breakfast is served- it was very delicious. Will definitely be back!

This place was great! The location, staff, and service were all top notch. The breakfast was delicious but a little pricey. We walked everywhere we went - the hotel is also walking distance to the beach. If we ever come back to Tel Aviv, we would stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the hotel with my own eyes. What is remarkable is how what used to serve as a theatre in the past could be transformed into a living space with such detailed preserved features of the past harmoniously coexisting with modern touches. Breakfast was wonderful and the variety of food was splendid.
