The elevator was broke and im disabled with a messed up leg that was forced to walk up the stairs. The tub kept stopping up. Over all i didnt like it

Honest review here. Decent price, however if you pay with a credit or debt card, there is a 50 dollar charge for an incidental charge. Very dumb way to take your money. You should get it back, but it can take up to 13 days. You cant pay the deposit with cash. The pool was closed if thats something you want to use. The gym was locked by someone on the inside while they were walking on the treadmill. My card didnt get me in. Now for the bedroom itself. No microwave but there was a mini fridge, but it didnt get very cold. There were holes in my top blanket, from wear and tear. The closer you look the dirtier it is. There was only 2 clean towel and the other was on the back of the door, hair and stains on it. The water worked great for me. The pillows will have old faint stains all over them. There will be a few lumpy pillows. There are cracks and wear and tear in the lhallways and elevator. Its dingy but the beds are comfortable. Honestly its only as dirty the closer you look. Breakfast opens at 6:30, so be prepared for a later breakfast. The staff interactions were limited for me, but they were nice enough

Every thing was good it was just the bathroom floor nd the shower was not clean at all. The ppl was nice the elevators was out of order

The elevator was out of service. The room was hot and it took a long time to cool.

Very few towels in room, gated and guarded at night, shooting in the area on night of arrival. VERY schetchy

Room was comfortable and location was convenient. Maintenance needs to be done as the tub dripped, toilet constantly ran and hot water was lukewarm. Breakfast was cereal or bread and coffee was empty although they tried keeping up with it. Neighborhood is sketchy but it’s fenced and gated with security so it felt safer than it would have been without that

There were bugs in the bathroom, many broken things in the room and on the property. In the room, dresser handles were broken off and a hinge was broken. In the property, light fixtures were broken and an elevator was out of service.

Entry doors never closed. Hotel had smells of weed and fowl odors. Was booked in a 5th floor room, which would have been GREAT, had the elevators worked! Room was as I expected, for the rate.

One of the filthiest spaces I have ever encountered . So many stains and bodily fluids that it looked like an FBI forensic lab for dummies. Sheets had been used - bathroom dirty . Wiped down what I could with antibacterial wipes , slept in my clothes on top of the covers with towels. Too dirty to shower there and I left as quickly as I could in the morning. Safer and cleaner to sleep in the car . Dodgy area .

Absolutely disgusting. I understand this was a cheap room but even with that, it was not worth what little we paid. Mold all over the shower and hair from previous guest (I’m assuming). Room smelled of cigarettes even though there was a no smoking sign in the room. Furniture was filthy and the bottom part of the couch had a couch cover on it that was ripped and stained. Room was not clean. Will never stay there again and would recommend a motel 6 over this place.

This hotel is cheap for a reason. There is a pervasive smell of pot in the elevators and halls. Carpets need cleaned. The downstairs bathrooms are never unlocked. The bathroom in my room was gross.

The property was absolutely disgusting. There were smears and dirt on the walls. The doors looked like they had never been cleaned with stains running down them. The floors, chairs, and bed sheets had stains too. I had to change rooms because the first room I went in smelled and was unclean. The second room was not much better, there was mold on the ceiling of the shower and they had put toilet paper in a hole above it as well that was covered in mold too. The people around and in the hotel did not seem very safe either. The staff at the front desk was nice when I offered to move rooms, but the hotel should really not be rated as high as it is.

Completely disappointed and disgusted with the hotel! My son and I traveled to Memphis for a college tour and stayed 1 night at this hotel. There were always people lurking at the front door every time we were coming out going from the hotel. The room was dirty - stray hairs in the bathroom, soap scum in the tub, and even a cockroach scurrying in the bathroom. The hotel was not maintained well and appears to have unskilled laborers attempting to do work to "fix" problems - mismatched and poorly fit tiling in bathroom, paint splatter on floors, non-working elevator button just to name a few. The continental breakfast that they supposedly offered included toast, tiny muffins, and dry cereal. There wasn't even milk or coffee available.

One receptionist that in not always there, dangerous area, smells terrible, room was not clean, elevator in obsolete condition, lots of noise from people talking loud at night, people screaming in the morning, shameful breakfast and I’m stopping here

Would NEVER stay here again. Room was full of cockroaches. Dirty bedding and flooring. Area is NOT safe. Homeless people sleeping in the lobby, next to nothing for breakfast d/t outsiders taking all the food. Room smelt of mold and must. VERY unsanitary. First room we were put in had mold and smelt of sewer. Very loud, and dangerous area. We were extremely disappointed in our stay. This place needs to be shut down. We want a full refund. This place needs a full inspection from the health department, and I’d gladly help get this place shut down. DO NOT STAY HERE

This was terrible. The room had burn holes in the carpet, the ac kept cutting off all night, nobody was at the desk, and there was zero hot water. Never using this service again

The place was rundown and dirty for a room that we were sent to had stains all over the carpet. It was pretty nasty. The TV didn’t work. Phone didn’t work second room we went in was at least clean, but it left a lot to be desired. Didn’t look anything like the pictures.

The room was clean but after I checked in and went to my room I noticed the tv didn't work. It's now 7 hours later and still no tv. I've gone to the front desk 3 times and the manager isn't trying to accommodate me.

I didnt like how Sleep inn have on their website that there are microwaves in the room when their werent

The room had a little smell to it as we walked in that was old. Then no microwave was in our room so we had to walk back and forward just to warm our food up. They could at least had one on each floor. The iron was missing as well.

Check-in was terrible. I arrived at 5 pm and not a single staff person was around. I waited for nearly a half hour. No one ever answered the phone. There was no sign informing guests of a return time. I had to do a business call in my car rather than inside the room I had to pay for (and connected to WiFi). Aside from that this property is very nice. The room was clean and furnished well. It was quite comfortable and in better condition than I was expecting. Same with the lobby. I would stay here again if I knew it would be possible to encounter someone upon check-in.

I booked a two night stay and when we first checked in and got to our room they gave us a dirty room with no tv then I walked back down to the front desk and they gave us a new room and someone was in the room so we when back a second time for a NEW room and they gave us a room with broken furniture and no tv we told them the next day that our tv wasn’t working and they told us someone will come up to fix it and never did

The bathroom was dirty, so was the bed. We was right by the stairs and all you could here was people opening and closing it.

It took forever to even get the guys at the desk to acknowledge me. They were changing shifts and it seemed like the night shift guy was being trained by the evening shift guy, whose ride was outside the main entrance with their music so loud the lobby desk was vibrating. We finally got checked in and headed up to the room. We were met in the hallway by several shady-looking people. Got to the 4th floor and as soon as the elevator doors opened we were hit with a wave of heat (seriously- 80 °) and the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana. When we got to our room, the key didn’t work so I had to go back to the lobby to get that fixed. We finally got into the room- the carpet was dirty and worn; the chair and ottoman had a dirty cover over it (I was scared to lift it to see what it was covering); there was still trash around the room from the previous occupant; the shower was disgusting. The sheets on the bed did look clean and it was well-made. The TV worked, but was very unclear and had a red line running down the picture. Throughout the night we were woken by doors slamming and I swear I thought I heard someone trying to open our door at one point. (I had put a piece of furniture in front of the door cuz this place gave me the creeps!) When we went down in the morning to check out the “continental breakfast” we found more cereal on the counter than was in the dispensers and three slices of bread; plus a woman talking to two guys about turning tricks for $30.

I never did get to stay they wouldn’t let me check in I was in limbo for hours after driving hours for travel. The front desk staff was rude. Walked away while I was talking to him. Expedia called several times to get a refund or resolve with no response. I had to rebook a room after waiting hours with no response at another location and incurred more fees money’s spent. I spoke with 5 different people via chat this morning from 6am until 9:23am To say I’m unhappy is an understatement. My time wasted and disrespected wasn’t a part of my scheduled day. Not sure if I will be a customer any longer.

This was the worse hotel I’ve ever booked ! Elevators did not work ! (Unsafe for the handicap ) which we seen someone get carried up flight of stairs ! Not one time did we receive room service or towels which we asked for multiple times ! Within our three day stay ! Our sheets had atleast 10 burn marks holes on it ! And we had a nonsmoking room ! Ohh and the staff were very much rude and seem liked they didn’t want to do anything !! 0 stars!!!!!

The staff were rude. Yelled at us for asking for early check in. The outside and check in area was run down and dirty.

Definitely a sketchy area, don’t walk around unarmed. Felt safe at the hotel and on the property though. I’d stay here again.

Very sketchy place! Pictures online are old. The building is old. Room was nasty! Floor wasnt swept, fake purple nail laying in the floor plus tons of other trash. Very loud on this floor at almost 10:30 on a Sunday night. Alot of shady people hanging out in the parking lot. Wouldn't recommend especially with Children.

The lights went out for several hours no generator so I was cold. Couldn't get extra blankets. The phine in our room didn’t eork do to no way to plug in. I had to walk to get batteries for remote due to none being in it. Supposed to have breakfast all they have is pancakes.

This hotel was not a good hotel. Appearance was below average with many things that needed to be fixed. Bathrooms in lobby were unavailable. Had a room on 2nd floor and elevator access was all the way down the hall. Temperature on 2nd floor was very hot in hallway. Room was OK but carpet was dirty and shower glass door was missing the handle so I didn't take a shower. There was only 1 cup for coffee and when I went to front desk to get more had to wait at least 15 min for attendant to return from another room even with ringing the bell multiple times.( 2 people were waiting to check in). The breakfast next morning was the worst I 've had at a hotel of this caliber with only bread, muffins, 2 cereals along coffee, juices and milk available. Muffins were out when I got there at 8 am and had to inform front desk. Breakfast time was 6:30 - 9:30 am. The one good thing was the bed was comfy and I slept well.

Overpriced for what you get, Memphis? Shower was dirty, you couldn't reach control's without getting soaked, ridiculous. Room ok. Breakfast was a joke.

The bathtub was not fit to be showered in. We wore shower shoes. It looked like a bad repair job. The carpet was stained. The linens were “clean” but stained. Graffiti on the elevator. Breakfast was not at all like the photos. There was one kind of cereal and 6 pieces of white bread.

Staff very unfriendly should not advertise they have breakfast limited coffee white bread for toast little cereal at 730am in morning. Thought the room was clean and met our expectations.

I like the cleanliness of the building. I love that we are around all the attractions. I don't like that we did not have a hot breakfast. Breakfast consisted of cereal and milk, coffee, day old bread, some muffins and juice.
