Quiet, convenient and the Blueberry Hill restaurant attached to the property is fantastic. The pilllows and mattresses could use an update but for the money, it’s a great value.

Room was well maintained expect the Jacuzzi tub was not working. That was the main reason for that room. However the manager discounted the price for that. The bed and the decor was beautifully done

Staff was pleasant and helpful Some dirt & crumbs in refrigerator, microwave, and clothes drawers No coffee maker No wastebasket, nowhere to hang clothes, we used lamp metal extensions At one time 3 towel bars, only 1 remains 4 lamps, only 1 had shade No iron as advertised Air conditioner was loud, but it did work well A few ants and about 6 bothersome flies Internet connection went out after 2 hours Beds, bathroom and floors were clean (except under beds) Towels/washcloths were clean Basic Continental breakfast in office, breakfast advertised as 6:30 start,it was ready at 6:10 Everything was fresh Ice scoop next to ice machine was up too high for folks under about 5 feet or wheel chair users Ice machine clean as was ice Our third stay in 3 years, I am now a bit hesitant to return My husband wouldn't mind returning, though. He enjoyed the stay So, who knows!

Receptionist was unavailable. When she arrived she was obviously sick, but wore no mask and offered no hand sanitizer. Hostile signs everywhere. Ice machine broken for months. Smokers right outside room doors. Tiny toilet with loud fan. Room was spacious, great wood floor, bathroom separated by door. Curtain didn't cover window. Far from highway, but near train tracks; bring earplugs. Breakfast was a tiny nook in reception, with waffles but no protein.

Liked - the breakfast was excellent for continental and waffles; they are new innkeepers and trying really hard; property had nice new floors and was newly renovated inside and out; bed and linens were comfortable; happy with the refrigerator, table, huge couch, heat. The desk person was certainly cheerful and gave me helpful information about good places to get food. She was accommodating and gave me a second room that hadn't been stayed in for a few days when I asked her, because of the cleaner smell. Disliked - lingering smell of Fabuloso cleaner kept me up much of night even in the second room. I rejected the first room as the Fabuloso smell seemed to singe my nose from the doorway. They must be pouring it on the floor and leaving it. The brand new floor was starting to get damaged from all the liquid during cleaning I guess. Microwave burned the paper cup. Parking lot wasn't plowed. I like and approve of kids coming to work, but the mother was distracted by the kid and he brought his homework to her to sign while she was waiting on me. She started waiting on him instead of telling him I have a customer, you have to wait. I grew up in a family business and even at 3 I knew the customers were important and mom was supposed to wait on them first. Maybe he didn't grow up with this.

Not only was the inn and it's staff great, but attached is a wonderful restaurant Blueberry Hill Pancake House which a quite extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Excellent food and also great staff. Both the inn and the restauraxnt are highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay here, they offer a shuttle to take you to the ferry for free but you can purchase your actual ferry tickets at the front desk in the hotel. Free daily breakfast, love the rustic look of the place. It’s a bit outdated with some things such as carpeting, but regardless we enjoyed our stay

You get what you pay for so I cannot be upset that I booked the room. The staff was nice and helpful. However just so everyone understands, what they are getting when they stay here; the rooms were very run down and dirty. There are people living there long term and they were loud late and loud early. Only one channel worked on the TV and the wifi did not work. The bathroom was so dirty and smelly we only showered one time in the two mornings we were there.

Old style motor inn. Excellent and reasonably priced restaurant on property. Condition of property is obviously challenging but management is trying. I have stayed several times and have noticed improvements. Good value. I like this place and will stay here again when I’m in the area.

This is the worst hotel I have been in for many years. The shower curtain had mildew on it the bathtub and toilet were dirty as well as the window sills. The bed was satisfactory however the pillows were terrible. I will not stay at this hotel again.

I do not understand why expedia sell rooms for this place, is dirty, unsafe, noisy, flies and mosquitoes in the room, the bathroom is molty and filty, this place looks luke a shelter for homeless, a lot of people living in this place, i stayed 1 hour until i found somewhere else to stay

Wasn’t that well cleaned very old and nasty

The room was absolutely filthy. There was hair on the pillow casings, food or vomit still on the floor, a back bathroom window that was broken and wouldn't close. Extremely run down and just not a place that was healthy to stay in. I could not sleep there and left immediately. The office was already closed so I couldn't even drop off the electronic key and make a complaint. Drove to another town and stayed at a chain hotel.

This place has gotten worse every time we have stayed there. 1. After arriving, there were no towels in the room. 2. No soap, shampoo or conditioner in the room. 3. Only one trash can in the room. 4. Cracked toilet seat and stained bathtub/shower. 5. Took 10 minutes to get hot water. 6. No employee in the lobby (even though the door was unlocked). Went in at 11am to get new towels and TOILET PAPER. No one, so…. 7. Nobody answered the phone when we were in the lobby. (Rang over 25 times.) 8. There was a cockroach. 9. Owner/Manager blamed that they can’t find any one to work when I complained.

Gave us a dirty hotel room but did switch to a seemingly clean one. There where used bars of soap left in the shower corners at the top. The freezer was disgusting in the mini fridge. One of the bed sheets had dirt and staining on it. When we went too check out we waited for 30 minutes for someone and called the number several times. Finally picked up, waited about 5-10 minutes and called back hust for them to tell us to leave the key at the front desk. Sticky powder all over the tv remote. Overall was not a pleasant experience, definitely will never stay there again or recommend too anyone.

It was gross! There was mold in the bathtub. A visible blob was hanging off the grab bar! There was NO WAY that was missed! The room was obviously not cleaned. My feet were BLACK from walking on the floor! We cut our stay short and got an air b&b! They don't even deserve one star!!

Dirty, towels not white, room smelled like someone lived in there for a long time smoking. Used 2 used bar soaps were left in the shower. Bathroom floor was horrible.. No hot water at all waited 20 min to get hot water. Never turned on the cold water.. Basically quickly washed my body

Got my room they supposedly did a remodel the floors in the bathroom were not done right walls were not done the bedding wasn’t cleaned there was dog hair all over the sheets the comforter had stains it really looked they just went in there after someone left made the bed I will not be going back there ever again

The room was in poor condition compared to the photos the use for listings. The floor was not swept or mopped. There were urine stains on the floor in front of the toilet. The inside of the toilet looked like it hadn't been scrubbed in over a month. The fridge couldn't stay cold enough for my food and milk. The heater is all or nothing, you either freeze or sweat to death at night. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more and save your peace of mind.

Big room. Great price. Needs updating. Clean as can be. Needs new linens and pillows. I would stay again.

Noisy all night cars coming and going all night doors slamming all night cars parked in the lot with radios going all night

Our family had 3 separate rooms. They were very spacious rooms, however, two rooms had black mold in the tub, one had a bed so high off the ground they could barely get on it, and the third room had a broken lock on the bathroom window. All the floors were uncarpeted and it was like they never mopped them. Our kids’ feet were black within minutes of taking their shoes off. Just an overall feeling of being dirty as soon as you enter the rooms. Also, the property appears to have people living in some rooms, giving it an unsafe vibe. Thankfully we were only staying for one night. You get what you pay for.

Inside smelled like smoke; there was no evidence of smoking in the room, but at a minimum it was coming in from outside. The jacuzzi tub stopped working after 15 minutes and then would not drain. Interesting decor in this room ;)

The property is under new management so I can understand a few of the reasons why expectations were not exactly met. Located in a small town with only one other property showing up that is within Bryan, OH. There are some major updates that are needed. The flooring in the room needs properly redone, it was cut and put in horribly. There's separation between the bathroom flooring and the flooring for the rest of the room. There's no exhaust fan, just a small window that will need to be opened when taking a shower. The toilet seat was worn down and should be replaced. The bed was absolutely horrible; it was an older spring mattress that was WAY too firm. There wasn't a bedbug cover or anything I could find that would aid in prevention against those horrendous creatures. The headboard was obviously cut from a frame and just mounted on the wall. The comforter had rips and holes. Everything in that room was mismatched, which honestly added to the small town motel charm. The parking lot was in great shape, the exterior of the property looked really nice. However, it really looked like there were people there who were living there; I wouldn't be surprised with the rising rates in rent and prices in housing. I don't fault the property on that. If there are longer term stays, there's nothing that advertises the property as an extended stay. The cleanliness of the room was something to be desired. There is a ton of room for improvement. Curious of the future plans for this property.

Nice area, rooms are good with a huge tv and the staff are very cool and friendly people.

This place was by far one of the best smaller motels that I have stayed at. Rooms are nice and where way larger than expected. Best part of the stay was the lady that manages the place. She was always helpful when you needed something and best of all was a blast to talk with every time. If I every have to get a room in the area again this will be the place I'd pick. Had a much better experience here than at the ones over in holiday city.

Good service clean comfortable room friendly staff

Hotel manager was very friendly and worker with me to get up at 3oclock in the morning to geg me checked in after a late Amtrak drop-off. Motel was very affordable and exactly what I needed after a long train journey: a hot shower, and a bed to sleep on. No muss, no fuss. Room did have a microwave and a minifridge, which a lot don’t include at this price point these days. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in Bryan in the future, because I am used to simple, small town Americana motels. It aint luxury, but it was just what I needed

The room was clean and comfortable. The Bryan Inn is in a good location, near to restaurants and a convenience store. I enjoyed my stay there.

It looked like people were living there by monthly rates and they were all partying in the parking lot. Would not reccomend staying there.

I seek out the old style motor inns where I can park my motorcycle in front of my room. This is an old motel and maintenance is obviously a challenge, but they do a pretty good job. The staff is cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and had everything I needed and the price is right. I like that the parking is isolated from the street, I have stayed here before and will likely stay here again when my travels bring me near.

The place was basically an upscale dump. Scary, dirty and just beat. Breakfast a joke. Stay away.

Overall the our stay was fine, the price was spot on and you get what you pay for. The cleaner could pay mor attention to detail and remove the accumulation of old soaps on the top ridge of the shower that hasn't been cleaned in room 161, and management could invest in a washing machine that actually cleans the towels. Breakfast was basic, but it was fine. Bryan is a great little town.
