Hotel veramente incantevole, in stile coloniale con una grande corte centrale piena di piante e fiori. Il parcheggio è gratuito, a due passi dall'hotel. Le stanze sono spaziose, luminose ed arredate con cura. Non è presente un frigobar, ma al piano vi è una utile macchina del ghiaccio. Il personale alla reception è disponibile e cortese. La posizione è perfetta per una passeggiata a piedi nel Paseo Montejo e la piazza centrale.

I liked the room and the onsite restaurant was good. Quiet AC and ceiling fan. The location was very good. The only problem was the pool area, a forgotten corner at the side of the hotel. I love to swim and I didn't use it. Not an inviting space. Everything else was good.

Since the moment we arrive the lovely hostess was quick and gab us some recommendations, The hotel is clean and spacious, there is water dispenser, Shop and a restaurant (which o have not tried). Is in a central locatio easy to reach or wait for taxi also there is parking space. Over all i love it

Beautiful, private, very clean, staff constantly in motion, caring for plants and cleaning. Restaurant was delicious, every meal was fabulous and reasonably priced. The rooms are huge, as are the bathrooms. The gift shop is not to be missed. We founds gifts we never saw anywhere else. 10/10 Cannot wait until we can return to Casa San Angel!!

Hôtel charmant avec un patio central des plus agréables. Chambre spacieuse et insonorisée. Petit déjeuner inclus, même si le choix était assez limité. Personnel très gentil. Localisation centrale et stratégique.

Casona de antaño, muy buena decoración y amenidades . Elevador, tina de baño y piscina muy bien. Restaurante con excelente servicio. Ubicación privilegiada y excelente atención de personal.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone who wants to explore and enjoy Mérida: it stands at the southern end of Paseo Montejo so the restaurants, pubs, museums, and other entertainment along the Paseo are only a short walk away. A wealth of other restaurants, pubs, shops, and museums are only short walks away in other directions. Entering the main atrium feels like walking into a sanctuary. You’re surrounded by plants, the sound of water from a small central fountain; warm, earth-tones paint the walls; welcoming seats and tables provide shadowed places to lounge when the temperatures get warm. The staff are welcoming and wonderfully helpful. Everything is clean. Our room (101) was fantastic: clean, spacious, sunny, with a very comfortable bed, comfortably air conditions, and a relaxing shower. As a bonus, the room had a Mayan hammock made of sikal but be warned: my wife and I both thought it was the most comfortable hammocks we’ve ever rested in but it’s only large enough for one. If we visit Mérida again, this would be our first choice as a place to stay.

The hotel itself was fine but unwary travellers need to be aware that the parking is away from the hotel. This was a bit of a headache as you have to go to the hotel to get someone to open up each time. Whilst the breakfast was nice it was limited and we were led to believe that the restaurant would be open but it was not in the evenings (there are other options locally).

Esta nuy lindo el hotel. Muy buena ubicación. A una cuadra del inicio de Paseo Montejo. Desde ahí también se llega muy cómodamente caminando a la plaza central donde se ubica la catedral. Solamente hay que tomar en cuenta que en las noches la calle es muy oscura y se siente un poco inseguro ya que esta muy sola, aunque si muy cerca, a solo unos metros de las calles concurridas. La habitación estuvo super bonita. Muchos detalles de decoración y en general muy bien la limpieza. El desayuno que incluye esta muy bien. Es continental pero tienen una carta muy variable. Recomendable los huevos motuleños. Además cuentan con una paqueña muy pequeña alberca, que esta increible para refrescarte un rarito del calor. Muy bonito y excelente servicio. Definitivamente regresaríamos.

Everything was really good until we decided to go out for a walk. They lock the door everytime so you have to ring the bell and they open the door. When we came back, we had to wait for 25min at the door, ringing the bell and calling the phone several times in the night because the man at the deskfront wasn’t there. We were able to enter at the hotel because another gest open the door for us. He had to leave his room in his pijamas because he heared the ringing bell all over the hotel. On the next morning we explain the situation to a girl at the reception. She was very ashame for his coworker and couldn’t explain what happened to the man. I found wird that they asked for your key when you go out the property so they can count the guest that are outside, it would be better to check with your number, instead of leaving the key. Also when we came back, of course they had our keys so we had to enter and take ours. Besides that,reservation includes light breakfast:coffee, small portion of fruit and a piece of mexican bread.They have other options for breakfast at extra cost.Slow service with one waiter for all the tables. Hotel was really nice and well maintained, all the rooms were different but super nice decoration and acommodations. Hotel has a small pool but we did use it. It was nice that they have drinkable water and ice outside the rooms so you can take it for “free”. I recommend the property but not sure about the service and sometimes that makes the difference.

El Hotel esta perfecto, pequeño pero muy bien cuidado en los detalles. La limpieza debería mejor un poco, dado que hay hormigas en algunas habitaciones. Pero lo realmente preocupante es el servicio en el pequeño restaurante, deja mucho que desear, si solo te hospedas y sales para comer, visitar y demás, es una excelente opción en precio/valor. Pero no usen el restaurante.
El Hotel esta perfecto, pequeño pero muy bien cuidado en los detalles. La limpieza debería mejor un poco, dado que hay hormigas en algunas habitaciones. Quiet meditative ambience inside, plants and birds everywhere. Room was cleaned daily and was spacious and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly, although one of the waiters in the restaurant area was very passive and surly which made me not want to go there anymore (hence the 4 stars for service).

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is small, beautiful and quaint. The rooms were clean and comfy. There's no frig or microwave, but I didn't need them. There's a very nice restaurant right next door and there's also one in the hotel. Centro and many conveniences are in walking distance. I felt completely safe the whole time. The area was quiet with the exception of the jazz band playing at the restaurant next door one night and a Christmas show that took place on a stage right outside the hotel another night. I enjoyed opening my windows and listening to the music. All of the hotel employees were very kind. Roberto was the best!

The hotel is in a perfect location and the architecture and decorations are beautiful. However, we experienced a few inconveniences: - Safety box was not functioning and it was not attached to any structure. It was just placed inside a piece of furniture in the room. - The room was hot and felt moldy when we checked in.

Room did not look like photos. In the bathroom, only one side of the faucet worked, they had no drains covers, and the shower/tub was dangerous entering and exiting. The hotel air conditioning went out for two nights so we had to reserve a different hotel. It was not a good experience.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone who wants to explore and enjoy Mérida: it stands at the southern end of Paseo Montejo so the restaurants, pubs, museums, and other entertainment along the Paseo are only a short walk away. A wealth of other restaurants, pubs, shops, and museums are only short walks away in other directions. Entering the main atrium feels like walking into a sanctuary. You’re surrounded by plants, the sound of water from a small central fountain; warm, earth-tones paint the walls; welcoming seats and tables provide shadowed places to lounge when the temperatures get warm. The staff are welcoming and wonderfully helpful. Everything is clean. Our room (101) was fantastic: clean, spacious, sunny, with a very comfortable bed, comfortably air conditions, and a relaxing shower. As a bonus, the room had a Mayan hammock made of sikal but be warned: my wife and I both thought it was the most comfortable hammocks we’ve ever rested in but it’s only large enough for one. If we visit Mérida again, this would be our first choice as a place to stay.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. I have stayed many times and always look forward to it. Aside from how cute it is, the water pressure is good, bed is comfortable, the a/c works great, the wifi is reliable and the staff is excellent.

The hotel is in a perfect location and the architecture and decorations are beautiful. However, we experienced a few inconveniences: - Safety box was not functioning and it was not attached to any structure. It was just placed inside a piece of furniture in the room. - The room was hot and felt moldy when we checked in.

The staff were wonderful the whole time we were there! The hotel itself is a beautiful atmosphere and just added to the experience of travelling there. We booked a tour directly through the hotel and they had great recommendations for us as to where to eat around the area. 10/10 great stay and would stay again.

El Hotel esta perfecto, pequeño pero muy bien cuidado en los detalles. La limpieza debería mejor un poco, dado que hay hormigas en algunas habitaciones. Pero lo realmente preocupante es el servicio en el pequeño restaurante, deja mucho que desear, si solo te hospedas y sales para comer, visitar y demás, es una excelente opción en precio/valor. Pero no usen el restaurante.

Since the moment we arrive the lovely hostess was quick and gab us some recommendations, The hotel is clean and spacious, there is water dispenser, Shop and a restaurant (which o have not tried). Is in a central locatio easy to reach or wait for taxi also there is parking space. Over all i love it

Our first visit to Merida was fantastic and staying at the boutique hotel made it so memorable. The casona is so peaceful, lush and quaint. The staff was great too! William at the restaurant was so helpful and gave great tips for traveling and seeing other parts of Merida. It’s prrfext for a getaway with your partner, spouse or girls trip. We were minutes from shopping, restaurants and Plaza Santa Ana.

Everything was really good until we decided to go out for a walk. They lock the door everytime so you have to ring the bell and they open the door. When we came back, we had to wait for 25min at the door, ringing the bell and calling the phone several times in the night because the man at the deskfront wasn’t there. We were able to enter at the hotel because another gest open the door for us. He had to leave his room in his pijamas because he heared the ringing bell all over the hotel. On the next morning we explain the situation to a girl at the reception. She was very ashame for his coworker and couldn’t explain what happened to the man. I found wird that they asked for your key when you go out the property so they can count the guest that are outside, it would be better to check with your number, instead of leaving the key. Also when we came back, of course they had our keys so we had to enter and take ours. Besides that,reservation includes light breakfast:coffee, small portion of fruit and a piece of mexican bread.They have other options for breakfast at extra cost.Slow service with one waiter for all the tables. Hotel was really nice and well maintained, all the rooms were different but super nice decoration and acommodations. Hotel has a small pool but we did use it. It was nice that they have drinkable water and ice outside the rooms so you can take it for “free”. I recommend the property but not sure about the service and sometimes that makes the difference.

Beautiful space convenient to Paseo de Montejo. A bit far from the Plaza Grande but a safe and pleasant walk. Our major complaint was that the property stated no children under 12 but there were two younger children in the room next door that woke us up several times due to their incessant screaming. There was also a lot of noise at night from the karaoke bar next door and the concerts/events hosted just outside our room (the latter may have been just due to Merida Fest, but we aren’t sure)

Es un hotel sencillo pero muy lindo, muy limpio y el personal muy amable… no me encantó que cerraran las puertas tan temprano y se tuviera que estar tocando pero, no afecta nada. Está sobre paseo Montero, se puede salir caminando al centro o a cualquier destino cómodamente, realmente la ubicación es más que excelente. Abajo hay un restaurante, los huevos motuleños y el pan son super deliciosos, tienen que probarlos… Sin duda regresaría :)

Esta nuy lindo el hotel. Muy buena ubicación. A una cuadra del inicio de Paseo Montejo. Desde ahí también se llega muy cómodamente caminando a la plaza central donde se ubica la catedral. Solamente hay que tomar en cuenta que en las noches la calle es muy oscura y se siente un poco inseguro ya que esta muy sola, aunque si muy cerca, a solo unos metros de las calles concurridas. La habitación estuvo super bonita. Muchos detalles de decoración y en general muy bien la limpieza. El desayuno que incluye esta muy bien. Es continental pero tienen una carta muy variable. Recomendable los huevos motuleños. Además cuentan con una paqueña muy pequeña alberca, que esta increible para refrescarte un rarito del calor. Muy bonito y excelente servicio. Definitivamente regresaríamos.

Beautiful, private, very clean, staff constantly in motion, caring for plants and cleaning. Restaurant was delicious, every meal was fabulous and reasonably priced. The rooms are huge, as are the bathrooms. The gift shop is not to be missed. We founds gifts we never saw anywhere else. 10/10 Cannot wait until we can return to Casa San Angel!!

Excellent hotel, room, comfort, service, and location. The only thing can be improved is the “continental” breakfast as it is very basic and limited (coffee or tea. Fruit plate or juice. Toasted bread with a serving of butter& jam). The next hotel I’m staying is simpler but as nice, there are coffee and juice and fruits and yogurt and cereal and 2 breads and cake, at a cheaper rate.

The hotel itself was fine but unwary travellers need to be aware that the parking is away from the hotel. This was a bit of a headache as you have to go to the hotel to get someone to open up each time. Whilst the breakfast was nice it was limited and we were led to believe that the restaurant would be open but it was not in the evenings (there are other options locally).

Everything was really good until we decided to go out for a walk. They lock the door everytime so you have to ring the bell and they open the door. When we came back, we had to wait for 25min at the door, ringing the bell and calling the phone several times in the night because the man at the deskfront wasn’t there. We were able to enter at the hotel because another gest open the door for us. He had to leave his room in his pijamas because he heared the ringing bell all over the hotel. On the next morning we explain the situation to a girl at the reception. She was very ashame for his coworker and couldn’t explain what happened to the man. I found wird that they asked for your key when you go out the property so they can count the guest that are outside, it would be better to check with your number, instead of leaving the key. Also when we came back, of course they had our keys so we had to enter and take ours. Besides that,reservation includes light breakfast:coffee, small portion of fruit and a piece of mexican bread.They have other options for breakfast at extra cost.Slow service with one waiter for all the tables. Hotel was really nice and well maintained, all the rooms were different but super nice decoration and acommodations. Hotel has a small pool but we did use it. It was nice that they have drinkable water and ice outside the rooms so you can take it for “free”. I recommend the property but not sure about the service and sometimes that makes the difference.

This hotel is beautiful and user friendly. Merida is safe in general, and this neighborhood seemed very good. It's a few blocks to el centro and one block to the touristy restaurant district. They lock the door at night and sometimes during quiet days, so you have to ring a bell to get in. A little inconvenient. We had continental breakfast, which was quick and great. We didn't use the pool. This place is a bargain. Definitely better than staying at some giant modern hotel further from el centro on Paseo Montejo.

El hotel tiene muchas plantas mucha vegetación Los cuartos son súper bonitos, tienen atado ventiladores en la regadera por si te da mucho calor las ventanas tienen Mosquitero, sólo hay que cuidar que no se metan los mosquitos por tu puerta, porque si hay muchos y hay bares sitos cercanos y enfrente una pizzería muy rica y en Recepción súper bien ANGÉLICA y el Restaurant. Los huevos Motul leños están deliciosos

I did enjoy my time at the hotel. It was clean and the staff were wonderful. My breakfast each day was very good and so was the coffee. My dissatisfaction came to the pool which was not inviting at all. The water did not seem very clean. One of the workers was taking a nap on 1 of the 3 lounge chairs. There was very little if any hot water to shower. I will say the murals were fabulous as was the architecture.
