Cold pool, cold breakfast. Noisy elevator.

The hot tub was black and slimy, the pool was cool and had many ladybugs and boxelders all over. The room had many ladybugs and flies dead and alive, it dod not feel clean . Some lamps didnt work, some dishes had an odd orangish spriut layng in them. Very poorly maintained inside and out, and they would not refund any part of the charges at all. ,even though i didnt use 1 of the rooms and left a day early.

Flat sheet on bed was the polyester duvet flat sheet cover so anytime that you moved in bed you would get shocked with static electricity & see little sparks. Walls thin enough to hear the person in room beside us snoring Crumbs on floor so room had not been vacuumed Mold spots on shower curtain so also could tell that it had not been cleaned Door close button missing in the elevator

First room I was given wasn't cleaned. The elevator was broken. Pool had only 1 towel left for 2 people to use. The second room was clean and great.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Clean facility with a clean pool area. Water was very clear.

absolutely incredible value! it's like the hidden gem in that area! the staff was friendly and helpful the property and my room was clean. very nice pool and also a hot tub. will definitely stay here again when i am in that area

Hot tub could use some work... needs a good sand blasting and a rehaul of jets.

Overall stay, if I had no where to go I would stay here again. The breakfast was disgusting and gross. Pool was freezing, hot tub was super salty. The pool towels were basically hand towels and had to be requested. The toiletries weren’t all that great, which is expected I guess. Anytime you need help you have to ring the phone at the front desk due to no one being up front to greet you and available. The first night when we checked in the staff was not super friendly or helpful with questions.

The hot tub had a plumbing issue, debris kept coming out of the jets. The staff was in our room for a while, attempting to fix it to no success. We never got to enjoy that part of the room and paid a lot of money to do so so that was very disappointing. We were never offered another room, or any amount of a refund. I would never choose to stay here again.

The hotel lobby was clean, however, we tried three different rooms and each room was super messy. One of the rooms had bedbugs, one of the beds in another room had giant stains, and the third room wasn’t cleaned at all. On top of that, I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel because they didn’t have any rooms left. I tried getting a refund and was refused. Would not recommend staying here.

Overall cleanliness was poor. Stained bed sheets and towels. Our toilet wasn’t completely bolted down to the floor and was loose. No laundry bag available, only soap, shampoo and conditioner nothing else. For the price we paid it was very underwhelming and disappointing

My room was very clean, nice and spacious. BUT, when I went to sleep, I set a glass of water on the nightstand, so I could have a drink of it when I woke up in the middle of the night, which I did a few times in the dark. When I woke up in the morning and turned the light on, there were ants all over the cup of water, in the water, on the inside and outside of the glass and on the night stand! GROSS!!! They need to have an exterminator visit regularly to treat the building for ants. I was told the ground in that area is mainly sand, so the ants are going to be an issue. But they need to stay on top of that. I probably drank ants in the night and didn't know it. YUCK!

This place is a dump - full stop. The towels are filthy, stained, see-through in spots, and should have been tossed out years ago. The sheets, the floors, the counter tops - filthy. The property is simply not maintained; the positive reviews are dubious at best. I am deleting my account after this review - I will never use this service again. My only hope here is that I save someone else from the horrid experience my family and I endured.

The room was a bit run-down: the mini-kitchen area lacked any silverware or cutlery for use; the closet in the bedroom had a broken hinge; the bathroom shower curtain was stained with mildew; the pull-out sofa had no sheets or pillows in the room (needed to request). During a multi-night stay, there was no trash removal, room cleaning, sheet change, or towel exchange. The pool area had no supply of towels (had to request at front desk). The complimentary breakfast had literally no fruit available of any type. But the property was quiet, and generally clean.

There was dirt and hair in our bed, between the top sheet and the fitted. Super gross.

The non-smoking room had been recently smoked in and “covered” with a scent of some type. I left the window open for hours which helped somewhat. The bathroom was not cleaned well. The shower needed a good scrubbing and there was a hair stuck to to wall. 😳

After checking in, we went to our room and found two double beds, even though we booked a king. We went down and the guy at the desk said that he gave us an upgrade because the king room was being painted. Would have been nice if he could have mentioned this during the check in process, or given us any room with a king bed like we had requested. When we got back up to our room it was freezing - the heat had been turned off so it took quite a while for the room to warm up in a Minnesota winter. They don't clean the room unless asked. Again, this was not mentioned during the check in process. On the third day when we got back to the room and saw that it hadn't been cleaned, I went down to the front desk to ask if they cleaned rooms and was finally told of the policy. Unfortunately, it was too late to get the room cleaned that day so we just got some new towels and the room was cleaned the next day. The other problem was with breakfast. One the second morning we went down at 8:30 (breakfast goes til 9am) to find the hot items (eggs and sausage patties) were already gone and the remaining bagel was rock hard. There was still waffles, but there was a line for those and we did not have the time. We wound up grabbing breakfast at the McDonalds next door. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and clean (although the hot tub could use a good cleaning), the location was perfect for our needs, but due to the items mentioned above, we will probably look elsewhere next time.

1. Needs to be updated in the WI-FI area. 2. Lighting is poor—plus we had to go to the office to get a replacement for one burned out bulb. 3. The closest door is broken. 4. The couch is not comfortable. 5. Toilet paper holder is broken. 6. Breakfast area is insufficient—we had to wait 15 minutes for seating. We realize this may vary from day to day depending on the current overnighters, but a slightly larger area would go a long way toward preventing such problems.

This property has a few issues; door key doesn't work all the time, sink drains are slow, very slow wi-fi, and poor quality food at included breakfast.

Room was nice and quiet. Bed was a little hard for my liking. Nice location, easy to find.

Unfortunately the heater and refrigerator in our room were so noisy i was awake most of the night.

plug ins by bed on lamps didnt work. couldnt use our cpap machines. staff told us to use plug ins beside the bed, which we would have had to sleep on the cords. also room phone didnt work. otherwise nice hotel

The room was clean and roomy. Things were updates well. The bed was comfortable, however the pillow were small and flat and you only had 2 per room. The bathroom was updated but floor tiles were loose, because there was missing grout around them. I could actually pick them off the floor. The shower was VERY slippery and the towels were scratchy. The Noise was the biggest complaint. Children were running down the halls untill 4am. I would not go back for that reason. Im sure the staff had complaints about it. We did see the manager and front desk clerk on the floor...probably trying to deal with it. Maybe they should hav seperated guest rooms a bit more.

I stayed here for 3 days. I would have loved to stay here longer. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a hot breakfast every morning. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. I would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

The staff was rude. Charged us $45 for an early check in and didnt tell us about the extra charge, which was only one hour earlier than normal check in. We had used the vending machine and the candy bar got stuck, went to front desk to let them know and his response " Not my problem". Not a great experience and the cost for a nights stay was expensive for an Americvu Inn.

The attendant was awesome. He was very helpful and pleasant!! I wish I would have gotten his name because he was great!!

Upon arrival at the hotel, my experience at the reception was disappointing. The staff member was impolite and disrespectful. He handled my check-in with a noticeable lack of courtesy, tossing the room keys to me without an envelope and not providing the room number. Once I reached my room, I found that it was inadequately supplied with towels. There were not enough towels available, which was inconvenient. Additionally, at the pool area, I discovered there were no towels provided for guests. This lack of basic amenities significantly impacted my overall experience at the hotel.

The 2 staff working at the front desk didn’t know how to answer billing questions and were texting their boss and calling him continuously through out our conversation. They also ran our credit card the day before our scheduled arrival. Upon booking we selected pay upon arrival.

Called in at approximately 1:30pm asked if we could check in early due to time constraints for a sporting event was told yes any time is fine. Came in 3 hours later and past normal check in time front desk gave me keys for room 216 and when we got to room found housekeeper in room she tried to get us another room that was already clean but supposedly there were none available so we sat in the second floor hallway for 20-30 minutes. It was not because of the housekeeper she tried to help.

We stayed at this property two years ago and loved it. The price was double the amount this time but we felt it would still be worth it. Instead, it was twice the price and less than half the service. There was only one person working, he didn't have the hotels.com pricing in his system, and he had to physically go to our room to see if it was clean. He handed over the keys, verbally gave us the room number but gave no information about wi-fi, breakfast, etc. After asking and being told breakfast was till 10, I arrived at 9:36 and doors were closed and everything was put away. Because only one person was working, everyone coming to the desk had to call for assistance. I observed a man trying to resolve a valid complaint have his concerns brushed aside and not even get an apology. Cleanliness was adequate but bathroom vents need cleaning. If this were a budget hotel, I wouldn't mention this, but for the price, I was surprised that bathroom toiletries were from 4 different companies (even the shampoo and conditioner were different brands and fragrances). There is new management whose philosophy is not concerned about the customer. We come to the area every year, but we are not staying at this hotel again.
