We had a lovely time. We rented a cabana and I would highly recommend this. The beach is truly relaxing and beautiful. The only thing, although I did not pay attention much to the map where rooms are located ( and that is my fault), no where in the written description did I see that some of the cottages are located across the street from the main part of the facility. It was described as ocean side, but I think it should be more specific with room location. And the road is only 2 lanes, but busy. Otherwise, very nice.

Extremely clean. Friendly, helpful staff that went above and beyond. I traveled with my teenage daughter and her friend and we never once felt unsafe. I was fine using the free trolley transportation up and down the island, but the girls talked me into renting a golf cart. That did provide more freedom for our short time there. The resort has golf carts for rent. We will definitely be back!

This property had a laid back old-school charm. I walked along the beach and found that many newer places had cleared all the trees from their property but Cedar Cove has beautiful palm trees with hammocks so that you can sip your drink and read your book in the dappled shade with an incredible view of the beach. The beach was so safe and clean that you had to walk past two sea turtle nests to reach the ocean. The ocean was warm, shallow, and gentle, perfect for my adolescent kids to play, swim and fish by them selves. The other guests were friendly and relaxed. The free bikes, beach towels and a little free library were very thoughtful touches. The kitchenette in our unit was supplied with all the conveniences, and the store was a bikable distance away, which was very convenient for my family. For folks unaccustomed to the heat of Florida, they had two completely shaded outdoor sitting areas for food and games, a bar with delicious cold drinks, and nice strong AC and ceiling fans in the apartment. This place was exactly the hole in the wall sleepy beach town vibe that my northern family was looking for. Thank you to all of the staff.

A well kept resort with helpful staff that went above and beyond to make our stay helpful with happy smiles. We had Starfish which was very quiet, clean with pretty decor with a resort feel with little touches such as toilet paper folded like a rose, tissue container folded like a fan. Tommy Bahama shower toiletries and little touches that were extra special. There's lots of outdoor seating, a hammock, plenty of beach chairs, parking spot close to our room. There was a small area by the office with palm trees, cacti with 3 water fountains for a soothing oasis. I had the best view of the sunrise right outside our door. I can't wait to come back!

My family and I had a great time. We stayed in the dolphin suite and it was amazingly convenient. Laundry was only steps away you do have to pay $2 per load tho. You could literally walk into the beach in under 2 minutes. The wifi range went on for days! I couldn’t believe that I was 10 feet from the ocean and still had almost full bars. The staff were pretty nice and were always able to help me with whatever I might have needed as well.

Such a Beautiful Resort and the rooms are so clean and beautiful , located on the beach steps from the bluest Ocean water ,which was a dream come true.. The staff was amazing, everything you need they have for you, so helpful...we didn't want to leave..we will be back

Our room was as clean as could be expected for a tired old hotel in a great location. The stairs and decking of our second floor (of 3 floors) unit were splintered and aged. There were extra charges for coffee beyond the first night, the laundry was dirty, small, and coin-operated, and even getting clean linens was a challenge. We paid $450/night for a pretty mediocre accommodation, except for the location… We won’t be back.

The suite was excellent. Cleanliness and convenience was terrific. Communication with the staff was clear and off street park was available. Would definitely recommend staying there. I will be back.

We absolutely loved this place. It was quiet, clean and the staff were all so pleasant. They provide beach chairs and beach towels so no need to worry about bringing those items. We stayed in the Violet cottage and it was perfect for just my husband and I. We cannot wait to visit again

Thought we were ground level from pictures, we were 2nd floor. Sliding glass door had gaps, very hard to open or close. Ceiling fan had only slow speed, central air did not keep up with heat, it was hot at bed time. Smelled like mildew.

From the reservation information I expected a beach front room. Got one on the back on the other side of the street. The sofa bed was in poor condition and extremely uncomfortable. We decided to leave a day early and not spend the second night as my 2 kids could not sleep well in the sofa bed. Staff was friendly and the beach is beautiful

This was a very relaxing place to stay. Quiet and beautiful views of the beach and ocean. We enjoyed our stay in the Flamingo room. We didn’t even notice the other guests staying below us. The room was updated and has a nice deck to sit on with table and umbrella.

The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Our room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but the listing did list the square footage so that was my fault. I did not envision how small it really was. The outside areas to utilize were pretty. We enjoyed having lunch every day on the tables overlooking the beach. Everything needed to enjoy the day at the beach was provided. Beach area was not crowded and we felt like we had the beach to ourselves every day instead of being crammed.

The room and the view where amazing. We needed some time to unplug and we did just that. The check in was easy, the margaritas cold and the fresh air amazing. I was surprised the water was so warm, very nice. We cooked in and had everything we needed yo do so. We will definitely be back in the future.

the beach was across the street and that was nice with chairs and umbrellas. The facility did not have much more to make it a resort. We were on the first floor of a 2 story building and they had a family with 3 children on the second floor. It was very noisy. The unit we had was on the street and that was not mentioned. It was described as garden location.

The location, cleanliness, facilities, everything, was amazing. Erik, the clerk, however, called, messaged, and emailed us 3 times before 3 pm to encourage us to arrive to check in, apparently, so he could go home. It felt like we were delaying him somehow, and yet we were just arriving in the 3 to 4:30 pm check in time. We arrived at 3:35 pm.

Danny and Amy were great! Both were friendly and kind not to mention very helpful. Allowing us to stow our luggage while we relaxed on the beach waiting for our next place to allow check in. We enjoyed our stay!

The staff at Cedar Cove Resort are amazing. My wife and I reserved a 2 day weekend and we ended up staying an extra day. It was so relaxing, we will definitely be back to see Amy, Eric and Melissa. Thanks guys for the the great customer services and friendliness.

Fantastic location Friendly & accommodating staff. Rooms super clean. Directly on the beach! Only thing that was disappointing is that we had to leave to get back to work. Would have loved to stay longer! Most definitely planning on returning! Thanks for a relaxing stay!

Absolutely loved our stay! Perfect location for everything! We walked everywhere (Salt restaurant was 2 blocks away and absolutely delicious!) Also loved having the bikes (free) for exploring! Lovely staff!

My sister and I moved to Bradenton when we were teenagers. We loved going to the beach on AMI. Now, 60, years later, we were looking for a nostalgic 3-day getaway. Cedar Cove was perfect for us. Small, quiet and friendly, it captured the old Florida vibe. We were in the Coconut Suite which gave us wonderful Gulf views and some natural beauty with palms and pines. We drank iced tea on the balcony while we watch the beach walkers go by. Then we just walked down there too when the sunset arrived. I watched a pelican diving for fish and the sandpipers racing the waves. I even swam out to the sand bar! I was surprised how well Cedar Cove had weathered Hurricane Milton. The pullout couch was actually comfortable. The full kitchen was a bonus. The designated parking space was appreciated. All-in-all we had a great getaway at Cedar Cove.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge with great sunsets right outside your door. Was centrally located where we could walk to any kind of food we wanted. When we arrived the staff was very welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be going back.

This property had a laid back old-school charm. I walked along the beach and found that many newer places had cleared all the trees from their property but Cedar Cove has beautiful palm trees with hammocks so that you can sip your drink and read your book in the dappled shade with an incredible view of the beach. The beach was so safe and clean that you had to walk past two sea turtle nests to reach the ocean. The ocean was warm, shallow, and gentle, perfect for my adolescent kids to play, swim and fish by them selves. The other guests were friendly and relaxed. The free bikes, beach towels and a little free library were very thoughtful touches. The kitchenette in our unit was supplied with all the conveniences, and the store was a bikable distance away, which was very convenient for my family. For folks unaccustomed to the heat of Florida, they had two completely shaded outdoor sitting areas for food and games, a bar with delicious cold drinks, and nice strong AC and ceiling fans in the apartment. This place was exactly the hole in the wall sleepy beach town vibe that my northern family was looking for. Thank you to all of the staff.

A beautiful and relaxing spot in an idyllic beach setting. Very well equipped suite with everything you need for a self catered stay and with housekeeping services available as required. Beautifully presented communal areas and facilities such as barbecue, bikes, beach chairs etc

It was a very nice stay. The room was across the road but I did not hear any noise. It felt private. Very big with a nice bed and a recliner chair. Everything felt very clean. The beach was amazing. I enjoyed the hospitality of the team. Free Pina Colada and coffee in the morning were nice unexpected additions to the stay.

Cozy cottage on the beach, legendary service by owners! I definite book again next trip this way. Quick access to Robinson Reserve. Need to add Ugly Grouper to the restaurant list. Outstanding Grouper Tacos and Grilled Grouper Sandwich.

The room and the view where amazing. We needed some time to unplug and we did just that. The check in was easy, the margaritas cold and the fresh air amazing. I was surprised the water was so warm, very nice. We cooked in and had everything we needed yo do so. We will definitely be back in the future.

Being able to stay on the beach well after dark was a plus. Plenty of lounge chairs and a bench swing. Loved it. Also loved the rocking chairs on our porch. Pull out bed was surprisingly comfortable. Just wish there were more coffee pods - that’s the only recommendation I would make!

The cottage we had was so cute! Very clean cottage and probably! Not a fancy resort, but felt very old Florida like, which is exactly what we wanted. Centrally located, easy access to restaurants and shops, and right on the beach! We will be back!

Really pretty old beachy styled property, with everything you’d need in the room. Property is technically on the beach. When we stayed before we stayed right on the beach. So booked this property again for our trip in June but didn’t realise until we’d gotten our keys to the room, that they owned the properties across the road and the room I booked you had to cross the road to access the beach. I personally don’t remember reading anywhere, that the property was across a road. Wouldn’t have booked if I knew it wasnt direct beach access. Staff are very friendly !
