Pleasant staff, the hot tub was closed snd the pool wasn't that good, they were replacing the carpet late into the night but at least they were making improvements. Still lots of improvements needed. Breakfast was included but was not very good so we only ate there once on our stay. We would go back again because the price is good but if ee want a good hotel I would go elsewhere until they've made improvements here

The staff was kinda rude didn’t really seem like they knew what was going on, The hot tub was down when we were there wasn’t no warning, The door to the outside does not lock so you can just walk in and same for the pool. The outdoor landscape is very uninviting and there was glass all over the parking lot which now I have glass in my foot because of that.

The workers were delightful and very friendly. The rooms were adequate. Actually ironically the toilet paper was superb which is a funny way to judge how much a hotel cares about you. But maintenance of the place is very poor. The rugs are disgusting. The pool though indoor wasn't even heated. The hot tub appears to have not been working for ages based on reviews even though the sign up front says there's a hot tub. Staff were quite friendly. Breakfast was very good. Clean and repair the place and you'll have a really good hotel!

Price they showed was lower than the price I paid by a bit. Loose rock all over parking lot made it potentially a slip hazard and bad for strollers/elderly. Shower curtain barely hanging on wall. Know from the guy at the desk didn’t really seem to care to help figure out the price issue. Breakfast options kind of sucked.

Only reason we stayed there was the reasonable rates with a hot tub and pool. Pool was small and hot tub wasn't working. If i knew that or was told that i would not off stayed. After 1500 mile ride we always look forward to stay some where with a hot tub!

The checking in and checking out part was super efficient which i like. The indoor pool was cool but looked a bit dirty. The carpet was super dirty and smelled in the halls but the room floor and everything else was clean.

In the pool area, they don't check the chairs. I was a few days after surgery and looked for a chair to sit and relax, and it broke and shattered into pieces. The staff wasn't even kind enough to ask if I was okay.

Stayed here because of price, breakfast and hot tub. Go down to pool and spa and nite on door that hot tub is not to be used. Water in it. Asked at front desk and got eye rolls for answer. Would have stayed somewhere else. Walls thin, heard sniring next door all night and highway noise

I have an elderly mother with a prosthetic leg and is on dialysis. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was not indicated on the reservation. There were no elevators and we were not able to move to the first floor for her comfort. We also did not link how dirty the room was. We wiped our floors down and the towels turned black from the dirt. The bathroom smelt like urine.

Furniture was taped together, dirty shower. Hot tub non working and very dirty. Slept on towels on bed. Hotel should not have a rating on 7. Dies not even deserve to be on Expedia. Asked for a different room after checking in and was told because booked through Expedia they could not change it. Would not cancel my reservation and refund my payment!

The location was convenient. The property is dated but some updates have been made. The room was very clean and located on the first floor. The parking was decent considering how busy they were. The staff was helpful and knowlegeble concerning policy. I was considering extending a night but they were booked. My only disappointment was the filthy hallway carpets and some aroma. I really want to applaud housekeeping they were great.

The room was adequate. It was clean. The shower was pretty good. The bed was cheap and uncomfortable. The hallways desperately need new carpeting. The swimming pool was shut down. There was a lot of riffraff milling around outside. They had an average hotel breakfast.

My first impression was food strewn down a hallway and I didn't think we would stay there. The person cleaning the rooms was very nice and when another guest brought it to her attention she said she would take care of it and she did. The rooms have been somewhat updated and I like that the worn carpet like in the hallways has been removed and faux wood tile has been put down making the room feel cleaner. Breakfast was adequate-usual waffle machine worked great. The room was just fine for us overnight.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked a room with 2 beds through Orbitz. When I got to my room it only had 1 bed with a pullout couch. When I went to the front desk to ask she said Orbitz sent it as a 1 bed (even though Orbitz assured me they sent it as a 2 bed request.) The hotel said they didn’t have another room to give me. So I went back to the room to see if the pullout would work. It was disgusting. I showed the gal at the front desk, and her response was, “It’s not so bad, you can put a sheet on it.” I asked for a refund. She was rude and said she couldn’t give me a refund because I needed to cancel with 24 hours notice. I said I would have cancelled had I known I wasn’t getting the room I reserved!! I did not stay here. I went back the next morning to talk to the manager. He told me he was talking to his supervisor to get me a full refund and to check back. When I called back a day later he told me they could only give me a refund for the second night because I didn’t give 24 hour cancel notice on the first night. I explained that I was going to stay there HAD THEY GIVEN ME THE ROOM I RESERVED!! This was a shady hotel. I do not recommend staying here.

When I booked from hotels.com, it said that adjoining rooms were available at Econolodge. I booked two rooms and made a note that we needed to have adjoining rooms to accommodate our family. When we got there, the hotel said they had no adjoining rooms in the building. They said they couldn't refund us our money because we booked through hotels.com and it was the websites problem. My husband called hotels.com and they said they had to approve the refund through the hotel. What?!! So neither place wanted to take responsibility for the false information on the website. We ended up getting rooms at a different hotel and my husband went back to talk to the manager the next day. He seemed cooperative and said he would give us a refund but it still had to be done through hotels.com. We called hotels.com again and they said "they didn't guarantee any special requests" and since I didn't spend the extra money to get the refund guarantee, the hotel had to approve the refund and said the hotel had denied it. So both Econolodge and hotels.com gave us the runaround and wasted our money because of misleading info on the website. Don't was your time or money with Econolodge or hotels.com!

The door did not automatically lock we had to swipe our card to lock when we left the room. The check-in staff were pleasant as well as the breakfast but no maid staff attended our room during our stay meaning no clean towels or dumped garbage. I would also like to state that our search parameters there was to be a functional hot tub. This was out of service and I am not sure wether it was up to Expedia or the hotel to keep this updated as we would have not stayed knowing the hot tub was out of service.

Front desk person was great. He was very personable. Quick processing check in. Super easy to work with It was one night only. Made it effortlessly trip. Appreciate the breakfast. Clean and fully stocked this man was also very friendly and stayed on top of all food items. Great job great hotel. If were in this city area again we will stay here again

If you want to save money, this is a good bet. Well stocked, clean, somewhat renovated, and friendly, this hotel makes for a nice day in Yankton. As a matter of fact, we stayed here twice in two weeks’ time. They offer a small, hot breakfast and stay on top of stocking the coffee when the Stugis-bound bikers fill their travel mugs with it.
