Loved the location and size of property. Pool was amazing. Unfortunately the BBQ was out of gas but just had to wait for the other one to become available. The foyer to the apartment smelt a bit funky due to the garage shute, but the apartment was very comfortable and secure

Nice, spacious apartments with large balconies and pool area as well as a lovely view on the ocean side. The apartments were mostly clean but there was dust collected on photos and some furniture. Not walking distance to town but no big deal if you have a car.

Our stay at Azure was enjoyable; apartment was clean and spacious with a great view. Only one room had a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The swimming pools were the highlight of our stay and we spent many hours there despite the rain.

My stay at the Azure Sea Whitsunday Resort was somewhat disappointing. Rather than listing a series of basic issues that could have made my stay a far more pleasant, I would simply say the standard of basic facilities was completely missing (unloved). The management are aware of the issues I raised. On the positive side the location and view from the apartment was outstanding. The swimming pool and outdoor setting (including BBQ area) takes full advantage of the view.

The property overlooks the ocean- the views are gorgeous-but is only a 10 minute walk into town and to the beach. The town is wonderful! So many cute shops and restaurants, and the Whitsundays are unbelievable! We stayed in a 3-bedroom unit- it was huge, with an enormous balcony-and it was beautiful. The pools were terrific, too!

The views of the bay are magnificent. It’s a fair walk and rather uphill from Airlie, so pretty much a cab back every day, but was generally less than 10 bucks. Nice pool area with BBQ facilities as are common in Aus communal areas (the park next to the Lido has them too) - imagine them lasting 5 minutes in the UK! Friendly staff and a really spacious apartment, balcony…absolutely lovely.

The swimming pool is the highlight of this property, its beautiful and fun. The rooms are relatively clean but can definitely be better. The area under the beds are disgusting. The hallways have a musty smell which is not very inviting. It would be nice to have some body wash and body lotion as its hard to travel with those due to weight. Some towels for the pool area in the room will also be nice so that bath towels don't have to be used. Overall a nice place to stay.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Beschreibung entspricht überhaupt nicht der Realität. Ungepflegte Badezimmer und Schmutz überall in der Wohnung. Rezeption nur selten besetzt. Das war ein echter Reinfall für den Preis! Die schönen Bilder täuschen!

We enjoyed our stay - views are beautiful and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly. We did have an ongoing issue with a lack of hot water, but this was addressed as best as it could be.

The apartment we booked off reviews was marketed as a luxury facility, however, this was not the case. It had all the basic amenities one would expect from a self catering apartment, so that was fine, although the property had not been well maintained. The walls were badly marked or damaged in all areas, the carpets and curtains in the bedrooms had significant staining or discolouration, and one of the airvents in the main living space was falling out of the wall. The remote supplied to control the A/C in the main living space didn't control it or any of the apartments other A/C units, so not sure why it was supplied. The tops of the fans in the rooms hadn't been cleaned in quite possibility all the years the building has been operational, displaying a disgusting, thick build up of visible dust. There was also obvious dust on the tops of door frames and some window ledges. The bathrooms were better, though the floors did have areas of mildew and the shower heads could use replacing as they sprayed water in various directions from holes that shoudn't exist. We were supposed to have a room with a king size bed in it, instead we had two single beds pushed together. Hardly an example of luxury accomodation. That said, the sheets were clean and the two mattresses were comfortable. We had the apartment inspected and the damaged noted so that we wouldn't be charged for any of it, and asked for it to be recleaned, which it was, five days after we arrived. 3/5 stars is fair.

The weather was a mild 19-24 C. Perfect for the crysral blue views of the ocean from the balcony and for soakingvup the sun by the pool. The apartment was comfortable, well laid out, good supplies of items in kitchen, candles in bathroom for the bath, plus lounge area and great outdoor lounge and dining table. Balcony had ample space too. The only things I could fault were: no lighter/matches; no bath salts as stated; and a little bit of dust & dirt here and there, but nothing to get upset about. Noise of neighbours can be heard above and through front door too, but overall, great accommodation & experience. I will definitely stay again.

The apartment was beautiful, Communication was terrible was never sent instructions on where to get the keys and the office closes at 12 during the weekend, had to ring multiple times to get the keys to check in.

Great family friendly location to base yourself for Airlie Beach. An easy walk down to town but be prepared for the hill on the way back up. Room was clean and well supplied (though a few dishes were dirty). Staff were friendly and helpful if you need help with your bookings.

Had a very disappointing experience at Azure Sea Resort after traveling all the way from the USA with two young kids. The room given to us was in poor condition and completely unsuitable for a family. When we raised our concerns, the staff mentioned a possible refund but said the owner wasn’t available to make any decisions — as if a refund would help after such a long journey. We enjoyed our stay - views are beautiful and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly. We did have an ongoing issue with a lack of hot water, but this was addressed as best as it could be.

Nice, spacious apartments with large balconies and pool area as well as a lovely view on the ocean side. The apartments were mostly clean but there was dust collected on photos and some furniture. Not walking distance to town but no big deal if you have a car.

Lovely property and huge apartment. Well equipped and perfect for families. Just be prepared to get travis back to resort if travelling with kids as it's a steep incline getting home. Taxi from town centre only $7-$10 so very affordable. Great price for accommodation also

My stay at the Azure Sea Whitsunday Resort was somewhat disappointing. Rather than listing a series of basic issues that could have made my stay a far more pleasant, I would simply say the standard of basic facilities was completely missing (unloved). The management are aware of the issues I raised. On the positive side the location and view from the apartment was outstanding. The swimming pool and outdoor setting (including BBQ area) takes full advantage of the view.

We loved the closeness of the property to town/grocery store/walking routes. The apartment had all the bits and pieces that we needed for a self contained unit but I didn't appreciate having a bath towel with a rip in the middle or a yukky dusty ceiling vent in the bathroom. The managers were most helpful when required. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Airlie Beach - a beautiful part of the world. Thankyou.

The views of the bay are magnificent. It’s a fair walk and rather uphill from Airlie, so pretty much a cab back every day, but was generally less than 10 bucks. Nice pool area with BBQ facilities as are common in Aus communal areas (the park next to the Lido has them too) - imagine them lasting 5 minutes in the UK! Friendly staff and a really spacious apartment, balcony…absolutely lovely.

We got 2 bedroom apartment with ocean view. We loved it, as we were able to see the ocean view in the master bedroom, patio, and living room. While one of the bathrooms had a little bit of mold on the shower tiles, overall, we found it is acceptable. We had the toilet separately away from the shower stall, which worked out perfectly for us, in addition to the full bathroom in the master bedroom. The ACs in each room worked perfectly fine. The apartment was cleaned and well organized and decorated. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The only things that we thought that could be better are: (1) the bedrooms had blankets but not set up with the bedding, and they weren't washed as we found strings of hair and stain, etc. We would prefer that the blankets are set up as part of the bedding with 1 sheet under and 1 sheet above on the bed. (2) While the bowls, glass cups, mugs, and plates were cleaned and washed, they weren't dried properly before they were put into the cupboard. It wouldn't be good for the apartments as if the next guest don't use them, it could create mold, etc. We could understand as the requirement was self contained (putting them away). But a lot of them were still wet and had moist in them, yet, placed downward in the cupboard. We had to wash all over before using. Staff were nice and helpful. We loved the clean pool. It was also quite a uphill walk. Parking was easily accessed. Great location! Woolworths is down the street. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the Azure Sea. It’s a mixture of private condo style units and resort accommodation. We had 3 bed unit and it was extremely spacious. Comfortable and well furnished with a full kitchen, large balcony with sea view. There is parking underneath and a small gym that we used a few times. The pool is really nice too and perfect for a quick dip or a few lengths to exercise. Location is quite high up from the town so if you don’t have a car, there is an uphill walk back - requires a moderate level of fitness! There is a big supermarket close by so can get everything you need easily. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us, we had a great stay.
