The staff organised everything for us; transfers to and from the ferry, private snorkelling tour, rental scooters/driver for the day (whichever you prefer, but we recommend the scooter. It's more convenient and adds to your authentic experience!), We had two different rooms (different price) and enjoyed both.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff are super professional and friendly, and also available at all times. The villa was absolutely beautiful. The pool appeared clean, and the outdoor shower was great. The only small minuses we experienced were some lack of eye for detail - room service failed to clear away a few items for the entire stay (2 days), and the hotel gym was pretty hot. All in all amazing.

Everything at Maua was excellent. The staff was great, the room was amazing, especially the view. The food was really good, we tried several things from the menu and it was all delicious. We wish we had soent more time at the resort instead of going on a tour with bumpy roads and crowded destinations. The hitel is amazing if you want to just relax and hang out by the pool and have really good food

This is a great resort to stay at, the room is nice and the services are great, we got a day tour from the hotel as well and we were served very well. Despite the hotel packages are more expensive than outside, the extra costs do deliver a much better experience and service, making the money's worth.

Le séjour aurais pu être magnifique mais la propreté laisse à désirer !! La chambre était globalement propre mais la salle de bain était sale ( insectes mots sur le sols, serviettes avec des traces marrons dessus et les draps des traces de sang !!) Très très déçus ce cette hôtel !

The hotel was beautiful and the front staff was excellent but the wait staff in the dining room and bar area needs improvement.. for a 5 star resort I was disappointed . No consistency with our meals and the service was slow .

Our stay with MAUA was a perfect start to our honeymoon. Upon check-in, they upgraded us for a very minimal cost to a sunset villa overlooking the ocean and had a sweet Congratulations cake waiting for us. The villa and the accompanying view were absolutely stunning. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Several reviews discuss the short portion of bumpy dirt road before the hotel, however, it was only a small portion and didn’t detract from our experience in the slightest. I wish we could have stayed longer! Such an amazing find.

L'hôtel est dans un endroit magique, très bien conçu, magnifique.Chaque chambre est privée sans visibilité sur une autre. Piscine privative. Par contre, le restaurant est bon mais le service n'est pas à la hauteur. Le personnel est loin de l'amabilité et la gentillesse balinaise et il est important de noter que nous ne pouvons sortir de cet hôtel. Le chemin d'accès d'un kilomètre est en terre non nivelé, sans éclairage et il n'y a rien autour. Pour ce déplacer il faut prendre la navette de l'hôtel qui est aux prix européens et non balinais et il se trouve très loin des commerces. Le personnel de l'accueil et les chauffeurs sont adorables.
L'hôtel est dans un endroit magique, très bien conçu, magnifique.Chaque chambre est privée sans visibilité sur une autre. Piscine privative. The hotel is situated at the end of a very bumpy road which makes access to the rest of the island uncomfortable at best. Despite its isolated location, Maua is unwilling to offer shuttles or cars down to the main road for less than the price of a limousine in London. 763k for a 15 minute journey, versus 150k local cab, in exactly the same car. When asked for a local taxi company number, they informed us they did not have any, despite telling us the night before that they would be able to connect us. This miscommunication is at the heart of the problem with Maua. Over promising, under delivering. The breakfast was good but service ranged from average to very slow. The property is relatively new and it is in quite secluded area. View from the hotel is amazing, however the road to the hotel is quite challenging. If it’s past sunset not really safe to drive there. Nothing in the surrounding area (like restaurants or minimarts), so make sure you shop for snacks or drinks if you need them at night because their restaurant and room service is not 24 hours. Staffs are friendly, especially Dinda who helped us during check in and Kaka in the restaurant who assisted us throughout our stay.

Great little gem in the middle of island. We really enjoyed it once we got to the resort. It was peaceful and serence with a good staff. The island is a bit chaotic like Bali in general. Unfortunately, Bali is very dirty and transportation takes so long to get from point A to point B. Easily recommended those to visit if you are aware of the area.

Our stay with MAUA was a perfect start to our honeymoon. Upon check-in, they upgraded us for a very minimal cost to a sunset villa overlooking the ocean and had a sweet Congratulations cake waiting for us. The villa and the accompanying view were absolutely stunning. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Several reviews discuss the short portion of bumpy dirt road before the hotel, however, it was only a small portion and didn’t detract from our experience in the slightest. I wish we could have stayed longer! Such an amazing find.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in einem Bungalow mit zwei Zimmern und einem eigenen Pool verbracht. Anlage ist der Hammer. Service war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenfalls top. Es hat alles gepasst und wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Everything at Maua was excellent. The staff was great, the room was amazing, especially the view. The food was really good, we tried several things from the menu and it was all delicious. We wish we had soent more time at the resort instead of going on a tour with bumpy roads and crowded destinations. Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hotel magnifique. Nous avions la chambre avec piscine et salle de bain extérieur qui est juste sublime, la vue dégagée et l’intimité y est totalement respectée.
