La vegetación en la propiedad es espectacular, es como estar en el medio de la selva pero con las comodidades que se esperan de un buen hotel. Los cuartos son cómodos y super limpios, todo de color blanco. La ubicación es muy buena para explorar las playas cercanas como Punta Uva, Playa Chiquita y otras. Además el hotel tiene un beach club con restaurante, bar y una piscina adicional. El único punto no muy favorable fue que el jacuzzi al lado de la piscina estaba frio. Espero lo puedan arreglar pronto ya que todo lo demás fue excelente.

Me parece que está sobrevalorado el lugar, para los precios que se pagan deberían cuidar el mínimo detalle tanto en el servicio, como el cuido de las instalaciones y ahí es donde me parece que les falta. Pequeños detalles en un hotel Boutique en el que se paga bastante deberían ser relevantes, por ejemplo: En el jacuzzi el tubo para que las personas se agarren para ingresar no está bien socado y estable, estaba flojo y además que está lleno de herrumbre donde va atornillado a la piscina y eso debería será de cuidado. El piso de madera alrededor de la piscina está podrido por partes, con algunos huecos y todo despintando, se ve feo. Además que podría en algún momento causar un accidente. Yo caminando puse el pie en una parte donde sonó y casi se hunde. En la habitación detalles de daños de falta de cuidado y mantenimiento, paños percudidos, el aire acondicionado sonaba bastante. Son cosas que cuando se pagan las tarifas que cobran en este tipo de lugar no se permiten. Además que en buena teoría la cadena de hoteles a la que pertenece se supone que son de lujo y no deberían de darse el chance de tener un lugar tan falto de mantenimiento. Es un lugar hermoso si, una buena ubicación, la comida estaba bien, el servicio del personal excelente. Pero me parece que para el costo no es lo que uno imaginaba. Ahhhh y el otro problema es el tema del parqueo, deberían por lo menos alquilar un lote cercano y poner un parqueo exclusivo y con suficientes espacios.

Great place to stay. The beach and restaurant area across the street is one of the nicest we have been to, anywhere in the world. The hotel itself nestled in the jungle is so memorable and nice. The staff at check in showed us a Sloth chilling in a tree nearby, very nice touch as my wife was very happy. We will try to make this place a romantic get-a-way every year.

Location is definitely top! Staff is incredible, they will go beyond to make you happy. Breakfast was delicious but the same every day, if you stay several nights like we did, gets a bit boring. Facilities are super outdated and old. The cleanliness overall of the place was very bad. I found old hair stuck all over the bathroom. Both pool areas also were super dirty! A little investment in the general hotel should be considered. Wood floors are broken in some areas making it dangerous to walk at night.

The staff was great and the food was delicious! My issue is that i believe this place could be a lot better. The areas around the pool/ beach area were not as clean. Lots of leaves everywhere. The beds/cabanas were not so clean. Walkways to the rooms did not have great lighting at night and the path was slippery when wet due to rain. The a/c in our room was very noisy. The location is perfect.

The staff was outstanding. Check in was easy and the gentleman was very friendly. The hotel was centrally located and had very nice outdoor facilities. They were very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. The only bad thing with the hotel was the mattress because it was moldy.

El aire acondicionado en la habitación , se prendió y apago toda la noche , y el motor es demasiado ruidoso por lo que no pudimos dormir . Mal puesto el aire acondicionado en la habitación , pues queda de frente a las camas . Nos parece muy costoso , lo que se ofrece no corresponde a lo pagado . No tiene parqueo por lo que los vehículos hay que dejarlos en la calle . El personal muy atento . El desayuno muy bueno .

Stay was OK. The accommodations had problems and I would not recommend this property at all because we were lied to air conditioner was broke in one room for two days air-conditioning leaking in my room for a day before they fixed it. They did move us around and accommodate us, but that's not why we were there to move around. These rooms should not have problems, especially at the rate they rented it.

I loved the room and the service. All of the front desk people were extremely nice and helpful. I even had an issue due to using my passport as collateral to rent a moped and the shop closed early on Sundays (which I wasn't aware of). We were dud to leave early Monday morning and they weee able to get ahold of the rental shop and help me get my passport. We really enjoyed our stay at Le Cameleon.

For the standard in the area it is still a top choice…the two pools are the best…food more less than more…deluxe rooms are ok but you can see there are some urgent repairs… staff is quite friendly but pool/room service is too slow, we ordered two drinks and it took almost two hours to deliver… and for this recent visit what I think it and what was out of place was that they gave us the room 30 minutes after the check-in time

Tengo varias observaciones: 1. Solicité un late chack out y nunca me respondieron, estaba inclusive dispuesta a pagar perno no hubo respuesta. A esto agrego que, en la aplicación de Expedia viene indicado la salida a las 11 am y la recepción me paso un mensaje a las 9: 30 indicando que debia recordar que la salida era a las 10 am. Se tuvo que correr para salir justo a tiempo. 2. El cuarto que es como de tema especial en la villa no tiene edredones. En la noche con el frio del A. c. se requeria del edredon y las personas hospedadas en ese cuarto pasaron frio. Escribi a la recpecion en horas de la noche, la respuesta fue recibida hasta el siguiente dia a las 7:30 am indicando que la mucama entraba hasta las 8 am. No se resolvió pues ya saliamos el día que nos respondieron. El dia de salida hablé con un caballero de recepción y le dije que quizas seria importante dejar unos edredones limpios en los closets en caso de necesitarse para evitar estos inconvenientes. 3. Con respecto al servicio en el restaurante. Previo hacer la reserva llamé para ver si incluian desayuno, me dijeron que las villas no, pero que sí podia comprar el servicio. El primer día todo cursó muy bien, ese dia hablé con el encargado en am y le dije que para el domingo iban a ser al rededor de 15 personas para el desayuno que si podia reservar de una las mesas, me dijo que si que nada mas confirmara por msj a la recepcion. En la tarde como fuimos almorzar le dije a la que estaba encargada y me dijo que NO

Estacionamiento pequeño Habitaciones: la habitacion de tema especial le faltaron edredones, las personas de esa habitacion pasaron frio en la noche. Recepcion tarda en responder y poco resolutiva. Diferencia de informacion de la brindada en la aplicacion y en el hotel. Ejemplo la salida en la aplicacion decia que a las11 am y en el hotel a las 9:30 am nos pasaron un mensaje que decia que era a las 10 am. Personal en el restaurante de la mañana super atento y calido, el de la tarde no. La encargada de la tarde me rechazo la reserva de desayuno para 15 personas del dia domingo, me indicó que los desayunos tenian prioridad los alojados en el hotel y que no se podia reservar que tenia que venir temprano a las 7 am si queria campos. A pesar de que los desayunos se iban a comprar me rechazó.

The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! Rodrigo did an immaculate job cleaning our room, and always attended to our needs. The hostess at the restaurant (Gigis) was very pleasant, as well as all the waitstaff. Meals, including our breakfast which was included daily, were wonderful.

Fantastic stay, staff were very friendly, attentive, room was very clean and a really good size. Everything was perfect. Thanks to Kennet, Daniel, Heidy, Nixon and all the staff, in general they made the difference. The facilities are very good, the location, the gardens, the sound of the ocean and the breeze but the staff is the best. If you catch a cold just ask for a cup of ginger tea with lemon and honey bee...it is like magic and make you feel at home. Thank you guys I do appreciate your hard work to give the best of you. The hotel has a fantastic location, you are right on the beach or just cross the main road into the beach <5 min walk from most bedrooms. This is very important, otherwise parking is very limited at the nice beaches. The building, common areas and bedrooms are a bit dated and would benefit a lot if refreshed a bit. The biggest area for improvement would have to be with the staff at the restaurant. Understaffed and with great improvement opportunitites in terms of speed of service, knowledge. All in all, a terrific vacation and would definitely give the hotel another chance.

En ubicación es una joya. Playa y patios bellos. Los olores a tanque séptico van de mal en peor. He ido varias veces a Le Cameleón, pero se notan detalles que han demejorado lamentablemente. Las tablas de la piscina están deterioradas y se nos quebró una casi ocasionando un accidente, el olor es insoportable a veces, el desayuno es siempre el mismo, todos los días tuvimos que avisar que faltaba algo: huevos, o jamón, o beacon, o lo que fuera, siempre faltaba algo. Las frutas siempre llenas de moscas y mosquitos, así como las moscas en el restaurante. El chico que lleva los platos limpios hacia el buffet se los recuesta en su camiseta toda sudada. Realmente triste. Solía ser de mis favoritos.

The installations are nice and clean, the gardens are beautiful, and the beach club is right across the street. Most of the staff provided a great experience. The restaurant though needs work. It is too expensive for a very poor service, especially during breakfast with trays empty and customers waiting and getting dissappointed.

Overall positive experience and would recommend with a caveat. The location is quiet and still in close proximity to grocery store and downtown. The pools and ocean access are great. Rooms are suitable (large bathroom and bedroom, small balcony) and hotel staff are superb. The beach itself is well kept and has plenty of space. It’s good for surfing (no rentals on site) but if you wander down the beach you’ll find calmer swimming. The attached restaurant is lacking - the ambiance is great and the menu appears strong but the ingredients + prep are sub par. Staff at restaurant are so-so - it’s very disorganized and more than once we had to have them remove items we hadn’t ordered.

Destaque positivo para o maravilhoso café da manhã super completo e saboroso, o atendimento excepcional de toda a equipe do hotel e a comodidade de ser de frente para praia. É um hotel caro, portanto não poderia pecar na manutenção e limpeza da parte externa. A piscina principal que é de frente para o mar ficou interditada os 3 dias que ficamos no hotel, o deck externo de acesso para a recepção e para o restaurante estava sempre sujo, além disso o chuveiro da praia não estava funcionando, as cadeiras de praias estavam sujas e a grama de acesso a praia com galhos e folhas. Pelo preço caro o Hotel não pode pecar nesses detalhes. Na parte da praia os móveis estavam sujos assim como a terceira piscina de frente para praia. Na parte do quarto, há necessidade de manutenção e atualização, a porta da sacada não fecha direito, o ar condicionado fica muito frio ou muito quente, o chuveiro não sai muita água e o quadro estragado com a tela soltando. O hotel tem um grande potencial, mas tem que melhorar nos detalhes.
