The location is great as is literally down the road from the stadium but the cleanliness of the facilities is very poor. The bathroom was dirty with mud from the previous guests. The receptionist informed us they had left muddy boot stains on the carpet so they washed the floor with water just before we checked in meaning it smelt incredibly damp and soaked if you removed shoes. The microwave had melted cheeses from previous guests and there were a few flies when we went in. It was quite a cheap night for 2 double beds but for an extra 20/30 quid, the standard would’ve been better at a chain/well known hotel in town. The receptionist was friendly though and was trying to make the stay for all guests smooth and efficient, just a shame that there was no compensation offered and we basically had to cancel or deal with the soaked carpet.

Room was good for the price but there was a musky smell in the carpet and the blinds were all broken so light shining through no curtains to keep the light out unfortunately and no bed side lights either but not really much of an issue
