Photos of the rooms were not accurate for our room. The casino and convention center didn’t help the ambiance. I don’t know that rooms were interior facing on a noisy food hall. Worse was that our room badly needed attention and touch up. Hand prints were clearly visible on the opaque glass door to the water closet and shower. Floors needed mopped. The walls were scuffed and damaged.

Very nice hotel but there were no windows worth a mention. There was one for namesake that looked into a covered utility area that did not let in any light. So close that others could peer into your room. Had to keep the window closed.

The hotel was nice enough and in a great location, but room was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in for a high end hotel. It was advertised as no view, which I assumed was a view of a parking lot or maybe another building. But beware no view means no window to the outside. I have never heard of such a thing. Plus the bed was against the wall so I had to climb over my husband to get in and out of bed, I felt like a child camping. It was claustrophobic ruined our stay. The shower leaked and we flooded the bathroom. I asked for a different room, but the hotel said they were sold out.

First of all, I arrived at the room, it was extremely small, but the weirdest thing is that the window overlooked the interior of the hotel... so I had no views to the outside, which was EXTREMELY claustrophobic... I asked to change rooms, and I was charge around 30 euros for the upgrade on the category... which is crazy to me, but honestly it was something i had to do.... I was traveling with friends, and they had a baby, it was very hard for them to find a microwave to heat up their bottle at night... Other than that, this is a very standard hotel, and honestly it doesnt reflect the famous swiss hospitality.

We visited Bern for 2 days with our 6 month old daughter. We were pleasantly surprised with the provided baby bed and baby amenities (even a little gift for her). That gave a very warm welcome. We booked a Swiss Advantage room and had a very nice, quiet and clean room with view of the old town. The bed was great, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located just outside the old town and on main public transportation lines. It also has a good restaurant. We had a great stay, would recommend it and would stay here again.

Stock + Personal freundlich (ohne den herzlichen Kontakt beim Abschied, wäre es ein Stern weniger geworden) + Zimmer hatte sehr viel Platz und Ablage zum sich Ausbreiten - leider zu hellhörig, man hört das Treiben vor allem des Flurs und wer das Hotel wie ich bucht, um eine ruhige Nacht zu haben, darf sich zumindest am Freitagabend über bis ins oberste Stockwerk durchdringenden Bass bis nach Mitternacht freuen. - Bett hatte einen leichten Mief wie wenn ein leicht ungepflegter Raucher dringelegen hätte. Wird eher an der Reinigung liegen... auf jeden Fall ebenso unangenehm wie die kurzzeitige Nachdünstung nach Benutzung der Dusche. - Frühstück nicht den Preis wert. Würstchen waren wie Gummi, Melonenstücke mit Haut dran. Durchschnittlicher Automatenkaffee im Selbstservice und die Atmosphäre mit Musik und Hall erinnerte an einen Flughafen (fehlten nur noch die Durchsagen). Bis auf Aussicht und Aspekte des Komforts alles solider Durchschnitt aber bei weitem nicht diese Preisklasse wert...

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich, kompetent an der Reception empfangen. Sogar wurden uns der Koffer ins Zimmer gebracht :-). Beim Frühstück wurden wir von einer Dame weniger freundlich empfangen, sie hatte keine Reservierung von uns erhalten, wollte meine Reservierung Bestätigung vorzeigen aber sie wimmelte schnell ab. Fehler können passieren, aber bitte die Kunden freundlich professionell behandeln. Zimmer war sauber mit schönem Ausblick.

Hotel muito bem localizado e cama deliciosa. Os pontos negativos foram o atendimento do restaurante e o livre acesso de pessoas da rua. Como o hotel possui um cassino e 2 restaurantes no térreo, o banheiro que possui para os hospedes no lobby é de uso comum e vem muita gente estranha da rua. E quanto ao restaurante, como ele é aberto ao publico e se mistura com o lobby do hotel, você é atendido pelos funcionários do restaurante, nessa situação que tivemos problemas com um atendente chamado Shane, foi extremamente grosseiro e mal educado conosco, em mais de uma oportunidade. No primeiro dia ele veio nos dando com dedo na cara proibindo-nos de tomar chimarrão na area do restaurante, sendo que estávamos consumindo no restaurante, então nos mudamos para o lobby e paramos de consumir, porem o Shane veio atras de nos com muita arrogância e nos xingando.. enfim, o gerente no outro dia foi muito atencioso. Infelizmente essa foi nossa experiência ruim, mas a estrutura de quarto é muito boa, confortável, ampla, limpa e bem localizado.

Location is excellent, tram stop right out the front door, and Marketgasse shopping in an easy walk. The room is very comfortable with luxurious amenities, nespresso in room. We paid for the breakfast, which is costly, but the best breakfast we enjoyed anywhere on our trip! Bern is a lovely city many travelers miss.
