Impression d'être dans un hôtel d'antan avec des commodités modernes. Très bien situé, chambre confortable. Le resto Jack Grill est fermé par manque de personnel mais le saloon de l'hôtel offre un menu léger pouvant dépanner à partir de 11h00am. Par contre, Dawson offre plusieurs choix de restaurant à l'intérieur de 800m de marche de l'hôtel. Autre point positif: l'hôtel offre le transport entre l'hôtel et l'aéroport. Par chance puisqu'il n'y a pas de taxi ni d'autobus à Dawson.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff is wonderful, very helpful. The rooms are a little overcrowded because there are two queen beds in each room and little room to get around. Parking is OK. It is mostly in a lot across the street.

Check on was good. She informed me the room I booked was at another location and no ac. I wanted to change from 1 night to 2 so she helped me stay at the main location which has ac. The restaurant isn’t open the but the bar and grill is as of today July 17 2023. The border was awesome but it’s a bar and way too loud for my taste

This review is going to speak about the down of Dawson City as well as the Downtown. Because Dawson City is trying to keep its historic appeal people with disabilities are going to be pretty limited on what and where they can go and see. This is also true of the Downtown hotel. There are stairs everywhere and only a few ramps. But once you're in the room its a very comfortable room. If you're a warm sleeper bri's a very comfortable room. If you're a warm sleeper bring a fan because even though there is a Fan in the room, you won’t find it to be enough During the summertime. They put my sister and I in the annex, which is across the street from the main hotel, it was a really nice building once you got inside but the stairs going into the building But the stairs going into the building are a bit hellish and you have to check in across the street and go up those stairs and they are just as bad. I did request a room on the ground floor, which they gave me.

The staff is fantastic and very accommodating, 5 stars. The bathroom was grimy and shower had some mold from years of use. Room was fine. In the least I would say update the bathrooms. They are either dirty and not well cleaned or just lack of proper cleaning over the years accumulated grime. Aside from the bathroom, overall good stay and good staff. Great location.

Room was clean BUT make sure you understand that very LITTLE in Dawson City is accessible.and almost everything is on dirt streets with wooden sidewalks that are unlevel and uneven. Hotel has stairs. Staff need to tell you that the locks turn opposite way from normal and sometimes are difficult to open. TV - you need a lesson in how to operate it. We finally snagged a person who could show us how to operate it. Room certainly large enough for our party and was comfortable. No air conditioning. Don't put fan on high speed or it looks like it is going to come off the ceiling. Needs some minor maintenance. Great little sitting area but couches weren't dusted but were comfortable. Ice machine. No fridge.

And this place checked off the three most important things on my hotel checklist - clean, quiet and (as stated earlier) comfortable. Ample parking, and right in the centre of it all. I stayed during the offseason, so the Sourtoe Cocktail was being offered at another location, but this I believe is the in-season location. If you wanna do that. Which I did lol Was blessed with vivid Northern Lights on my first night too, so added bonus. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Couldn't complain if I tried!

I stayed in room 207 while comfortable, it is located right by the boiler/mechanical room. It was noisy. I prefer to stay in the main building, I find the beds are more comfortable than the anex. My next stay, I will request to stay away from the mechanical room in a quieter room. The Downtown hotel in my opinion is the best stay in Dawson City.

オーロラが観ることができる街という事でここへ宿泊しました。結論観れませんでした。飛行機到着遅れましたが空港までシャトルが迎えにきてくれました。昔ながらなのか少し古めかしい外観。廊下は赤い壁と奇抜。しかし部屋は至ってノーマル、壁が薄く隣のTVの音がうるさかったです。しかし私の部屋のTVはつきませんでした。バスタブ、冷蔵庫、電子レンジあり。古さは否めないですが、ゆっくり過ごせました。

The annex rooms do not have AC which is fine. Room was very warm until past midnight. Keep this in mind and try to secure a room in the main building if it is warm. Great hotel.

The hotel was good. It’s not to the level of big city hotels but fits its surroundings well. Beds were comfy and it’s located in the middle of town, a 5-10 minute walk from everything. Oh hotel staff was good. Every person I dealt with had a smile on their face and made you feel welcome. I stayed at the Downtown a number of times and am always satisfied when I leave

We were put into the annex, which is under renovations. We called to arrange for a shuttle airport pickup, but the shuttle never came. Room is overpriced for what you get.

Central, walkable location. Annex rooms are fantastic with access to coin laundry. Comfy, clean, worth all the potholes and a blown tire to see this town.

Because there’s no windows to the outside it got warm at night. Do you have to turn the ceiling fan on. I get dry eyes so not the best for me. All in all good place to stay and the restaurant is across the street and great pub good.

Great stay and staff were quite accomodating of us having 2 dogs with us. Rooms are small but cant complain. Centrally located in town and did the sour toe shot plus had some other drinks in the saloon. The obly complaint would be the very high price and zero breakfast included

Pros- Staff were very friendly. The room was small but was very clean and updated. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was also updated with a stand up shower but no tub. Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and lotion were provided which is great if you forget to bring your own. There is also a microwave and decent sized mini fridge in the room along with a Nespresso coffee machine. TV had numerous satellite channels to watch so that was much appreciated. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the downtown area so it's a quick walk to coffee shops and other shopping stores. Cons- The walls were thin so you could hear everything in the hallway which made it difficult to get a sound sleep. There is a restaurant and a ahuttle to the airport but no other amenities such as a workout area etc. All in all a great little boutique hotel in beautiful downtown Whitehorse.
