Love being able to walk out onto the beach! The pool & hot tub are great. They always have activities going on downstairs. They have ice cream socials in the afternoons. They also have puzzles & games too. We wish they had keurigs in the rooms

Clean rooms, fantastic beach and pool, game room and VHS rentals, and hot dogs and ice cream made a quick stay easy with kids! Staff were very friendly and kind. Thanks for the memories!

Pros- on the beach, rooms are nice and pool is nice. Cons- no elevator, no food options close and the gym equipment was very poor condition

They have a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub that overlooks Smugglers beach. Hotel is somewhat dated but still very clean and maintained. It was after the busy season so very quiet and was to able to have the pool and hot tub to ourselves. Everybody was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is centrally located, so easy access to activities all over the Cape. Loved the indoor pool and spa and that they have adults only after 9 PM and for an hour during the day. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the fireplace. The kitchen and sitting areas were great. We would definitely go back!

This is a time-share property. It is wonderful to be right on the beach and the salt water pool and hot tub hit the spot. The A/C units in the rooms are very old and did not work properly, our room hit about 78 degrees. Bed was comfortable.

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Surprisingly when wiping down everything with lysol I noticed that it was clean. Staff were super sweethearts from check in to check out.

My wife and I stayed at Ocean Club at Smuggler’s Beach August 18-21. The room was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, dishes, coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator! Situated right on the beach, clean and comfortable! This is our second time there, we’ll be back again!

The first impression was not good as the front desk person wasn't very welcoming and the checkout person on Monday was even less welcoming. She could care less about hearing about our experience. Customer service there is lacking but can be fixed. The big problem we encountered was the room #70 upon check in. Paying $550 a night the bare minimum is the room should be clean. The kitchen table and around the sink were absolutely filthy, the floor was wet and sandy, then the sheets and blanket were stained. After traveling 4 hours with a newborn i didn't have the strength to ask them to come clean so i sent my husband to the store and cleaned it myself. It does appear the hotel is well maintained so I'm not sure what's going on with housekeeping. The location and room itself are beautiful so we are willing to give them another try next year. Please train housekeeping on how to clean properly and the front desk staff in caring about guest's experience. I will say we found someones camera under the tv stand and returned it to the front desk on Sunday and that woman was very plesant so it's not all staff. Also the maintenance men and ones who wipe the chairs down seem to do an excellent job. But again, checking into a dirty hotel room is not what anyone wants to do.

The showerhead is broken with some of the silicone from the jets no longer attached. Which makes the shower pretty useless. I informed the front desk she wrote something down and I haven't heard anything yet after a day of letting them know. The walls are really thin and you can hear conversations as well as "other things" from a couple rooms over. The bedding is pretty gross as there is some crusty "crud" on the spare blankets which can only be some sort of bodily fluid. I don't want to know which bodily fluid that it is. I also informed the front desk again wrote it down but nothing has happened yet. The Pool and "hot tub" are decent as it overlooks the water. The hot tub barely had any jets when operating. This place is also apparently a time share, I had some sketchy dude approach me trying to sell me. Honestly for how outdated this place is it's not really worth the time to listen to his sales pitch. This place was fine for a weekend but I definitely wouldn't want to spend a whole week here.

This hotel has an excellent position right on the beach and a nice little pool. We had a fabulous view of the sea from our room and a little balcony. In places the hotel is a bit tired now so the communal carpets and corridors need a refresh. The room was generally very good and the bed was comfortable. The sink was very small so it was difficult to wash dishes but the kitchen facilities were adequate. Cleanliness was generally very good, but some things need a deep clean. The table in our room had long-standing grime around the edges which I had to clean off before I could feel comfortable using it. The staff were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful. However, they were ineffectual in dealing with noise issues. We were there three nights and unfortunately for the first two of them we were next to a very noisy family so we were woken very early in the morning by young children. There was also an extremely noisy bathroom fan which the neighbours had left on whilst they were out and the staff seemed unable to turn it off despite visiting the room so we had to endure it for several hours along with an extremely noisy icemaking machine in the corridor. All in all we enjoyed our time at Smugglers beach and I am giving this feedback in the spirit of making constructive suggestions for improvement as I do think the hotel could be even better.

Loved my stay! Room was very clean and plenty of room! Housekeeper service came in with clean towels and washcloths everyday (I wish there was a way we could tip housekeeping through an App). Kitchen has all the utensils needed! Overall it was very quiet but the walls are thin…you can hear the people talking and moving in rooms next door. The people next door were not loud so it didn’t bother me but wanted to mention. I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Cute, beach themed unit. Perfect size for us as a couple. Had a bedroom area, living room and dining area with a sink, fridge, and microwave. There is a small outdoor back porch area just behind the unit if you want to grill or chill outside and a small porch within the unit overlooking the parking lot and beach. A divider to split the bedroom and living room area the only thing is the ac is on the living room side so it got hot in the bedroom side so we had to leave it open which allowed the room to be really bright early in the morning. Only 1 small shampoo mixed with conditioner bottle offered so definitely bring your own soap, lotion and hair products. Pool is small but not crowded and remains open until 10pm. It also has adult only hours. They have a small private beach area which is accessible at night and an area for hotel social events.

Super comfortable bed in a clean cozy well stocked room. Loved the outdoor areas. Beach view was great. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Only suggestion is a chair on the balcony and loungers on the beach.

I really like this hotel, this is my second time coming. I was a little disappointed with the room that I got since when I booked it was suppose to be a studio with a balcony but about 2 months after I booked they messaged me saying this room did not have a balcony. They told me the room they put me in was bigger, second floor, ocean view (sounded really nice). Ultimately it wasn’t much of an ocean view as it was the furthest away from the ocean. Things happen and I understand that, overall still like this hotel, everything besides the room I got was great (and not complain about the room it was still nice, I just enjoy their balcony and having a nice ocean view).
I really like this hotel, this is my second time coming. I was a little disappointed with the room that I got since when I booked it was suppose to be a studio with a balcony but about 2 months after I booked they messaged me saying this room did not have a balcony. They told me the room they put me in was bigger, second floor, ocean view (sounded really nice). Ultimately it wasn’t much of an ocean view as it was the furthest away from the ocean. This property is located directly on the beach which is fabulous. The rooms are spacious and the fireplace is a very nice touch. Some updates would be nice, especially the bed which is a queen size. The rooms can easily accommodate a new king size mattress. One unfortunate thing about the property is that the walls and floors are paper thin. We listened to our neighbor snore for three days 😳…

Beautiful hotel by the beach! You can see the sea from the pool. The room is nice, it looks like it was recently renovated. We stayed from 04/20 to 04/21/2025.I am taking a star off because the maid was EXTREMELY RUDE! I thought that the check out time was at 11:00AM, so we stayed in the pool until 10:30AM. On the way back to the room the maid asked me if we were from room #50 and when I confirmed she made a rude comment saying that the check out time was at 10:00AM. I apologized and told her that we were going to leave soon. When we were leaving she started to argue with my husband, once again saying that we were supposed to leave by 10AM and that was not her job to put a VCR tape(we got the tape the night before to watch with the kids) back in the gym. My husband once again said that he did know about the check out time and offered her to pay for the extra hour that we stayed in the room. I informed the hotel manager about the incident, She apologized, told me that was not the maid’s job to tell us the check out time or act rude with us! The manager was super nice.

The first impression was not good as the front desk person wasn't very welcoming and the checkout person on Monday was even less welcoming. She could care less about hearing about our experience. Customer service there is lacking but can be fixed. The big problem we encountered was the room #70 upon check in. Paying $550 a night the bare minimum is the room should be clean. The kitchen table and around the sink were absolutely filthy, the floor was wet and sandy, then the sheets and blanket were stained. After traveling 4 hours with a newborn i didn't have the strength to ask them to come clean so i sent my husband to the store and cleaned it myself. It does appear the hotel is well maintained so I'm not sure what's going on with housekeeping. The location and room itself are beautiful so we are willing to give them another try next year. Please train housekeeping on how to clean properly and the front desk staff in caring about guest's experience. I will say we found someones camera under the tv stand and returned it to the front desk on Sunday and that woman was very plesant so it's not all staff. Also the maintenance men and ones who wipe the chairs down seem to do an excellent job. But again, checking into a dirty hotel room is not what anyone wants to do.

The staff were so friendly! The activity department went above and beyond. The pool was warm and so clean! The beds were comfortable and our room was clean! I know it was off season so summer would be different but it was so quiet and the location was so convenient to many many restaurants.

The property was great, the staff (outside of maintenance) was great. The beach was great. The maintenance man beat on my door and barged in because he paid someone double time to fix our air-conditioning. When I confronted him about the way he beat on our door he basically said well you called and complained about not having air. The guy was a tool. Honestly this place is quite a find and everything else was great. Just know that if you need something worked on you might have a lunatic beat on your door while your family is trying to nap.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was amazing with a small kitchen, dining area and fireplace. The pool and patio area were enclosed so it wasn't too windy but still could see the beach. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

The hotel is centrally located, so easy access to activities all over the Cape. Loved the indoor pool and spa and that they have adults only after 9 PM and for an hour during the day. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and we enjoyed the fireplace. The kitchen and sitting areas were great. We would definitely go back!

Overall enjoyed the stay for the price and amenities. Tip* beach space can get crowded. Everyone gets out there early and lays their chairs down to claim their space, leave, and come back later. We caught on by the second day Pros: Location, Beach access, Spacious Room, Booking Staff was communicative and accommodating, decent rates. So-so: pool was smaller than appeared in pics 6ft deepest, hotel breakfast was not really an option as there’s no kitchen, kitchen staff. Parking is really tight. Activities room seemed boring and musky, not a lot for kids to do. Private beach area somewhat small, fills up at times. Interesting vibe with timeshare community. While this place is family friendly and a few families were there, it’s seems more like a retirement community to me. A lot of folks knew each other and seemed to be regulars. We didn’t feel unwelcome but didn’t really click with any guests at the same time, kinda felt like a visitor amongst them. We also got the timeshare pitch, which we won’t be considering.

Love being able to walk out onto the beach! The pool & hot tub are great. They always have activities going on downstairs. They have ice cream socials in the afternoons. They also have puzzles & games too. We wish they had keurigs in the rooms

We’ve stayed here a few times during the off season - it’s been a perfect winter weekend get away for the family with the indoor pool & rooms that feel more like a home than hotel. I love how the room is set up with bedroom/bathroom and then couch/kitchenette/table. We have a young one that gets up early so even with that one of us still gets to sleep as the other entertains in the “other room”. The decor is actually really nice and everything is clean. We love the electric fire place- it gives it a nice look as well some extra heat. We bring things to make breakfast and lunch- popcorn for movies (you will have access to all your streaming sites) and board games. It’s in a great location- minutes away from 28 and about a 15 min drive to Hyannis (during the off season).

Our stay was wonderful. The property was clean and the staff was pleasant we had a nice conversation with Kim about the area and she suggested several restaurant. All the staff was friendly and on the day we checked out, 2 of the men offered to help carry out our bags. The room was spacious with pocket doors that divided the sitting area and bedroom. The only issue was the walls are thin and the adjacent room TV must have beeen mounted on right behind the head of our bed. Their TV sounded like it was in our room! But, the pros out weighted and cons we would definitely stay here again!
