My partner and I have stayed at Hotel Tropical twice now for short 2-night stays in Ibiza, and honestly, I don’t think we’d choose anywhere else. The hotel itself is fairly basic, but the rooms are modern, super clean, and excellent value for money – exactly what you need for a comfortable place to lay your head after partying. The pool area is large with plenty of loungers, the staff are friendly, and they even provide a shower room you can use if you have a late departure, which is a great touch. Overall, it’s a reliable, great-value option in Ibiza, and I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Ein durchschnittliches Hotel im Port Antoni. In der 70er Jahren gebaut und dann irgendwie modernisiert. Passt aber nicht. Neue Badezimmer, aber alte Treppenhäuser und nur einen kleinen Lift für den ganzen Kasten. Gepäckaufbewahrung ging nur bis 13 hrs. Schöner Pool und Gym über die Straße , aber auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Typisches Beispiel, dass man mit etwas Modernisierung aus einem 70er Jahre Hotel kein modernes Hotel macht.

Strutturale un po’ datata ma con tutto quello che serve per una buona vacanza. Ottima la pulizia e la zona piscina. Unica pecca la difficoltà nel trovare un parcheggio, anche in zona blu dove si può lasciare per max 2 ore

Spent 3 nights here with friends. We arrived earlier than check-in, but were allowed to use the pool facilities and take towels until our rooms were ready. Plenty of sunbeds poolside and food/drink relatively cheap.The rooms were very clean/tidy. Cleaners were in daily. Very helpful at reception with any queries and leaving our bags in the locked travel case room. Good location to walk into the centre, with shops nearby. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, as some of the photos didn't do it justice. I would stay here again.

Great location, great value. Rooms were well decorated and in good condition. Breakfast had a good selection each morning. Pool was across the road but not too much of an inconvenience, though it did get really busy and was completely full with no beds to spare on 1 day. Overall really impressed and would definitely stay again.

Ótima localização. Estávamos de carro e conseguimos estacionamentos grátis bem próximo do hotel. O café da manhã e o jantar incluídos no valor da diária ajudou muito em tempos de euro valorizado em relação ao real. Quarto confortável com vista interna. Funcionários muito atenciosos. A piscina é ótima mas academia precisa de revitalização urgente!

More of a 2 star than a 2. The lobby, stairs etc are very dated and drab and it stank of weed but when you walk into the room, it’s like waking into another hotel. Really clean and modern. The staff on the desk are lovely and really helpful when booking taxis etc. breakfast was poor. Hardly any choice, sausages were pink, everything luke warn, better off going out for breakfast. The pool is accross the road which I was worried about but it wasn’t that bad. The pool itself is clean and tidy. If you want food and snacks in the pool bar though you have to sit at the table and chairs and can’t take it back to your lounger which was weird? Ok to sleep if you’re going on a party holiday but not somewhere I’d ever take my children.

The room fit the bill and had really good air con that meant the room was still cool to come back to when you’d been out for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, bed comfy and a modern bathroom that felt really clean. A good base!

Stayed for one night just as a place to crash, room was pretty basic, but comfortably enough. You get what you pay for! The woman on reception was fantastic, extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel was great. We didn’t had any noise at night and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our shower was leaking so the offered us another room - an upgrade to a bigger room which was nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel in San Antonio

The one thing which let the stay down was the 'scowl' on the face of the lady clearing plates on the evening meal. We also had to ask a number of times for a drink. Not welcoming and wouldn't eat again in their restaurant. Otherwise the hotel is great. 5 minutes from the west end and centrally located for all San Antonio has to offer.

Fantastic location with friendly, helpful staff. The food was delicious, and the pool area — complete with a bar and kitchen — was a great spot to relax. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

The location of the hotel was great. We didn’t had any noise at night and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Our shower was leaking so the offered us another room - an upgrade to a bigger room which was nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel in San Antonio

This hotel is relatively cheap for a 3star hotel. Halb board was only a few Euros more than only breakfast. Of course, the variety of food is not as much as in a large 4star hotel. But it is a good option. Central bus station in walking distance (only 5-10 min).

Affordable, comfortable, close enough to walk to some small but nice beaches. Close to the bus station if you are interested in going across the island or to some other beaches, although generally public transportation back is not the most obvious if you haven’t done your research. Much quieter area then the other side of the island, but also plenty of options for food and such!

Spent 3 nights here with friends. We arrived earlier than check-in, but were allowed to use the pool facilities and take towels until our rooms were ready. Plenty of sunbeds poolside and food/drink relatively cheap.The rooms were very clean/tidy. Cleaners were in daily. Very helpful at reception with any queries and leaving our bags in the locked travel case room. Good location to walk into the centre, with shops nearby. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, as some of the photos didn't do it justice. I would stay here again.

Great location, great value. Rooms were well decorated and in good condition. Breakfast had a good selection each morning. Pool was across the road but not too much of an inconvenience, though it did get really busy and was completely full with no beds to spare on 1 day. Overall really impressed and would definitely stay again.

Ótima localização. Estávamos de carro e conseguimos estacionamentos grátis bem próximo do hotel. O café da manhã e o jantar incluídos no valor da diária ajudou muito em tempos de euro valorizado em relação ao real. Quarto confortável com vista interna. Funcionários muito atenciosos. A piscina é ótima mas academia precisa de revitalização urgente!

More of a 2 star than a 2. The lobby, stairs etc are very dated and drab and it stank of weed but when you walk into the room, it’s like waking into another hotel. Really clean and modern. The staff on the desk are lovely and really helpful when booking taxis etc. breakfast was poor. Hardly any choice, sausages were pink, everything luke warn, better off going out for breakfast. The pool is accross the road which I was worried about but it wasn’t that bad. The pool itself is clean and tidy. If you want food and snacks in the pool bar though you have to sit at the table and chairs and can’t take it back to your lounger which was weird? Ok to sleep if you’re going on a party holiday but not somewhere I’d ever take my children.

Me ha gustado la amabilidad del personal, el estado general del hotel y la comida. Aunque el buffet es pequeño, la comida está muy buena. No me han gustado los alrededores, todo zona azul para aparcar y mucha gente borracha.

It is noisy!! You hear people in their rooms, you hear everything outside, you hear people in the corridors!!! The dinner ams breaks was not the best bur we had the breakfast more.

Great Hotel, very clean, staff good too. Well worth a visit, cheap enough and good location. Only issue was that the pool closed at 7.30 PM and the closed at 8:30PM :( But overall quite good

Room was very nice , no lock in bathroom door but beds comfy, you can not take own drinks to the pool which can make it quite expensive . Food at dinner and breakfast was the worst I have experienced anywhere so I wouldn’t bother paying extra for that . Location is good and staff helpful as well as security at night , would recommend to family’s couples or singles just don’t go for the food option

My favourite hotel to stay in San Antonio. Close to EVERYTHING. The West end, 5min walk Sunset Strip, 10min walk Bus station, 5 min walk The Egg, less than 10 mins But far away enough to enjoy a quiet holiday if you wish. It has a lovely pool, which is mainly families but with music playing and a great bar and snack bar. The gym is small but OK and always empty. Breakfast is great, some good hot and cold options and dinner is OK. I took off a star because I feel like the buffet could be bigger and have more options, but it's great the hotel buffet has themed nights. From memory, Italian on Friday, Spanish on Sunday, Mexican in Monday. Great value for money and I will always be back
