Nice stay during a mountain bike trip for a prime mountain experience. Quiet village. Beautiful hotel. Staff were top notch…the Portuguese aren’t known for customer service…these folks are fantastic! The room faced onto a street level view which wasn’t great; although surprisingly quiet. The spa was wonderful. We are huge fans of water therapy, moving from the sauna to cold plunge to warming tubs, etc. They delivered! And the food!! Very good. Breakfast was excellent with stunning views of the mountains. Highly recommend this palace!

The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing - our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another night! The restaurant served some of the best food we have ever eaten. The steak that my wife got was SO good that she asked to speak to the chef, just to tell him it was the best steak she had EVER had in her life! We NEVER do that!

The little touches like the free bottomless of wine on arrival, the teddy bear gifts for our two little children was really very much appreciated. I absolutely adored my stay at the Octant Lousa. I had a great time exploring the villages and the mountains. The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing - our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another night! The restaurant served some of the best food we have ever eaten.
