The room was not clean, there was only 1 clean washcloth ( for 2 people). There was a dirty wet washcloth in the corner of the bathroom behind the toilet.

This property was fine. It was under construction when I was there, but at no point did that ever interfere with my sleep or anything. The airport shuttle was great, especially considering the airport is like 20 minutes from the hotel. The only thing I'll mention for anyone from the hotel who reads these... You might want to mention to your morning shuttle driver, that maybe spending the whole 20 minute drive to airport talking about politics and their personal viewpoints on political subjects/how much they hate the other side of the aisle, isn't likely what most people riding to the airport at 7:00am want to hear about for the whole drive. Especially when it was sparked by a simple comment from me about how the weather for me at home hadn't been as cool yet as it was in Rapid City. I'm still trying to figure out how that comment led to 20 minutes of political commentary. Otherwise I'd still stay here again. It was fine for an overnight stop.

Had to wait with several others to check in, because room wasn’t ready at check in time. But I understand if staff didn’t show up. Wasn’t a biggie to me. The place and staff were great! Will definitely stay again!❤️

I had a paid reservation for Cambria hotel through Hotels.com. I stay there frequently as a business traveler. When I arrived around 11 pm, I was told their was a problem with the room, and they had no vacancies. They informed me that had shifted my reservation to their 'sister' hotel, which was the MainStay Suites Rapid City and they paid them to host me. The MainStay shared a parking lot and was only 100 feet away. The hotel had a musty odor and the room was no better. I didn't see any overt signs of mold and the hotel was smoke-free, but the air just wasn't good and I suffered itchy eyes and sniffles. I would have left, but it was 11 pm when I arrived to the Cambria, and I didn't want to jump another hotel again. My symptoms resolved on returning to fresh air. I generally like the Cambria hotel and their staff are pretty nice, but after this switch-up, I don't think I will risk the Cambria again.
