Hampden Apartments - The Anne

Man ist zu Fuß wirklich sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Die Straße ist allerdings nachts sehr laut. Das Apartment war leider nicht sehr sauber. Auf dem Balkon lagen noch die Fußnägel-Reste von einem Vormieter. Der Boden im Apartment war auch nicht sauber.

Positives. The property is quite central and within walking distance to shopping centres, restaurants, Windsor castle, etc. The property was reasonably cleaned. Check in was easy and the parking spot was easy to access as well. Overall communication was satisfactory. I was able to check in a bit earlier than 3pm which was appreciated as we arrived earlier than planned. The neighbourhood felt safe and i was able to take evening walks. Negatives I travelled with my son and grandson- three of us. As a frequent traveller, I was very disappointed with my overall stay. The sleeping arrangement was not as expected, as it was listed as sleeps 4, There is a single room and the sofa bed in an open kitchen living area with no storage for my personal belongings, which I left on the floor of the living area with no privacy. The blinds are transparent and does not cover fully and let in the sun so sleeping was incredibly difficult and I resorted to sleeping in the corridor on a foldable bed that i found in the utility cupboard. The accommodation was noisy as it is next to a reasonably busy road and under the flight path. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay.

Lovely property, clean and comfortable in a good location for Windsor town centre. Parking was close by and easy to find
