Unfortunately the hot tub pump needed replacing so was unable to use, which is another reason i chose the motel after to walking all day, but other than that it was a nice,quiet place to rest our heads.

It was very clean & it appeared that lots of upgrades had been done with new flooring, new bathroom fixtures, new windows & furniture. The bed was very comfortable & we had a good nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was sufficient for our needs. Loved the fancy coffee machine. Great price. Would stay here again.

This property has been refurbished and they’ve done a good job. The finishings are new, very clean, and the rooms are bright and smell clean (!). Basically everything you need is provided (fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, hair dryer, bathroom lotion and soaps). The room was spacious and we really appreciated the sofa in our room; more comfortable than trying to sit on the bed sometimes. Staff are very helpful and kind; we couldn’t get our TV remote to work and staff attended immediately to assist us. It was very affordable and they provide a decent breakfast. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

The guy checking us in put us in a different room then we paid for. The key didn’t work then after he let us in I complained about it. He then says ok I’ll put you in different room at no extra charge like he was doing us a favour. Then he stared at us the entire time and walked us to the room and didn’t stop staring until we went in the room and the door was shut. The room had unique furniture the tv was on the wall and the neighbor had it on nice and loud so we heard the tv blare most of the night and we got there at 10. Then the fridge was right beside the bed and turned on every hour. It was so noisy and loud I didn’t sleep all night. I won’t waste my money here again.

Room was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and feel recently new. Air conditioner made the room nice and cool for sleeping. Big screen TV. Good price. Breakfast included was handy. Fridge contained yogurts, muffins and juice. Waffle maker was good. Toast, cereal, and coffee available. Manager was very friendly but insisted that any praise should go to the housekeeping staff who do the hard work behind the scenes to make everything nice, and praised the housekeeping supervisor Bindiya. The hotel looks like it is rebranded and some of the interior decor is basic but the room had everything I needed including good beds, mini fridge with a decent sized freezer section, microwave, big TV, easy entrance from parking in the back on the second floor. Easy access to the highway and gas and food options nearby.

The front desk made the experience splendid. They helped load our luggage into the hotel which was so helpful, since I travel with a lady who has Down syndrome and her dog. The room had a fresh smell. The linen was clean. The flat screen is 42 inches with all the ports for Roku. The mini fridge works with a small freezer. The a/c is extremely efficient. The room had a modern feel. The price is absolutely reasonable which is nice for folks who don’t have a big budget. There are several accessible power outlet. A small closet area with hangers. For $161.00 we were given a sparsely furnished room with one queen bed. The advertisement on Expedia said a room for 4 people (Queen bed and pull-out couch). It was the most expensive, had the fewest ammenities, and was the least welcoming of all the hotels we stayed in on our trip from Vancouver Island through to Alberta. When I spoke to the girl at the desk she said "do you really need a couch" and "how would I know there was no couch in the room". Then, "it was likely a dirty couch and was taken out for cleaning. Do you want a dirty couch". The girl was not the least bit welcoming to the point of being rude. On a positive note the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small but newly renovated. This experience made us wary of booking online unless we had booked the hotel/motel before, or it was a member of a chain. I want to get what I paid for without argument.

Manager straight up lied to our faces. Said he would let us cancel if Expedia was ok to do it due to circumstances. Contacted Expedia and they were happy to help us out and spoke to the manager who then decided to be a greedy man and reneg on his offer to let us cancel without penalty. Straight up liar greedy man and was probably not expecting us to follow through with Expedia directly. The front desk was unmanned for about 30 mins while we were trying to get Expedia in contact with manager. No idea where he went but he wasn't answering the phone nor was he anywhere to be seen in the reception area. I would NOT recommend this place no matter how desperate you might be for a bed. Expedia were absolutely wonderful with us over the phone during this whole ordeal and I would suggest they reconsider having any relationship with this particular hotel.

The front desk staff was prompt and polite. Prior to arrival we requested a 2nd floor room because I read there wasn’t an elevator and prefer not staying on the first floor. He acknowledged our request and a 2nd floor room was ready. There is convenient parking in the back which comes right to the 2nd floor. Room was spacious. Breakfast was adequate. It was great to have bottled water machine for refilling water bottle. Many coffee options too. Restaurants and conveniences were within walking distance. Felt safe in this location. Would stay here again.
