Front desk staff was lovely, room was clean and spacious, they had coffee/tea at reception and in the room. We couldn't catch the shuttle because we landed late (last shuttle at 10:45pm from airport?) But they reimbursed the $25 taxi flat rate. Overall great experience to rest before continuing our journey!

It's super close to the airport so it's very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a 1st floor room so we could just park right outside of our room. Being a small motel-like property, it offered much more, including microwave, coffee, and gym room.

Our second time at an Accent Inns (first stay was in Kamloops) and we like this chain a lot. This time, the rooms were clean, though we felt there could be a bit of an improvement regarding cleanliness in the shared laundry facility. We also really love the branding & copy—never fails to make us chuckle (ie. the elevator is labelled as a “Free Flight Simulator”). We’ll be back.

When you speak to the right reception staff they can be very helpful, oyr 2nd day we were told we could use the shuttle to & from the airport for the skytrain into vancouver was better than a taxi & quicker. Also had bikes that you can use so we took advantage & explored the area, we were given a map to follow.coffee etc available 24 hrs in reception. didn't like - no on site restaurant / hot tub due to maintenance during our stay.

I love this place! It's our go-to when we’re flying to and from the Vancouver International Airport. Their customer service is always great to deal with and go the extra mile. Long-term parking is available at a reasonable rate and they have airport shuttle services. It’s a wonderful place to stay.

Fantastic hotel! Very easy shuttle service from Vancouver international airport. Staff are very friendly and welcoming! You also receive a cute rubber duck that you can take home. They offer coffee at the lobby and also coffee machines and a kettle are available in your room. They have Eggspectations restaurant attached to the hotel! Food was amazing. You get a discount if you stay at this hotel.

It was okay and not wonderful as some of the other reviews suggested. They gave me a room on the ground floor and I found some dead insects and ants in the room. I will not be staying there again.

I found upon waking up and getting ready to leave that the tub had not been cleaned properly. Avoided having bath. Notified front desk when I checked out and they apologized, but didn’t really feel that it was adequate. I had to leave to catch ferry and there was no time to ask for someone to clean it as I had to finish getting ready to leave. At the prices charged for a room just for a nights sleep, I feel that they should of offered a small refund or something

We have stayed at this hotel many times and all has been good. This was the first time we have brought our little dog and stayed in one of your pet friendly rooms. WE STAYED IN ROOM #107 AND THIS ROOM WAS FULL OF FLEAS!!! I am nothing but absolutely appalled that this happened and that our lettle dog may end up being infected as a result of this hotel's management!! We are scheduled to stay there on our return on March 29th. I am at an absolute loss now as to what to do and I will be seeking a full refund of my stay.

We booked to stay at Accent Inn in Richmond due to the good reviews which unfortunately did not match our experience and expectations. The room was very noisy all throughout the night with sounds of the highway, local businesses, airplanes, loud AC units, and people smoking outside our door. The walls and doors also did not block the stinky smell of cigarette smoke from other patrons smoking and chatting right outside the door. The staircases were disgusting and littered with cigarette butts. The front desk service after 9pm was nonexistent. We had asked for a change of duvet cover notifying the front desk at 11pm, 11:30pm, and 12am with them promising us that they would attend, but no one came. Tired and disappointed, we made the trek to the lobby and found nobody manning the front desk. When we finally got service, the lady at the front desk was rude and rolled her eyes. The best they could do was give us a thin blanket instead of a duvet. We just took it and went back to our room because we didn’t have to experience more of her unpleasantness. Another unpleasantness we experienced was that the shower didn’t drain well and it was gross. The wifi was slow and mostly nonexistent. If you value a quiet and clean room with a good smelling, clean, and smoke free environment with attentive customer service, do NOT choose Accent Inn Vancouver Airport. You get better value for your money elsewhere because you’d actually be able to sleep and enjoy your stay.

Fun decor and attitude, but it's a renovated motel with exterior doors and therefore much noisier than a hotel. Comfy beds, airport shuttle worked fine but beware, only runs 2x/hr. Better than average gym.

The staff were very nice and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The hot water was great. Very relaxing taking shower. But the room was not well soundproofed. I was woken up by kids yelling at early morning (at about 2-3 am). I could hear neighbours talking sometimes, too. Would recommend to bring earplugs.

Got to the property late, then had to move rooms as the bedding was stained with what appeared to be a blood spot (it had been washed but was not clean) Staff moved us instantly but moving rooms at midnight in the cold was not how we wanted to start our trip

Staff was friendly and we arrived late to airport -the hotel said wound pay for our cab if we missed last shuttle - we did manage to get the last one. Liked the shuttle service to and from airport- ever half hour. Driver was friendly and knowledgeable of the drop off sites.Check in and out was easy and quick. Room was clean and well managed. Liked the free use of bikes ( great idea) coffee tea area, waiting area. Would stay again

We had asked for a change of duvet cover notifying the front desk at 11pm, 11:30pm, and 12am with them promising us that they would attend, but no one came. Tired and disappointed, we made the trek to the lobby and found nobody manning the front desk. When we finally got service, the lady at the front desk was rude and rolled her eyes. The best they could do was give us a thin blanket instead of a duvet. We just took it and went back to our room because we didn’t have to experience more of her unpleasantness. Another unpleasantness we experienced was that the shower didn’t drain well and it was gross. The wifi was slow and mostly nonexistent. If you value a quiet and clean room with a good smelling, clean, and smoke free environment with attentive customer service, do NOT choose Accent Inn Vancouver Airport. You get better value for your money elsewhere because you’d actually be able to sleep and enjoy your stay.

I had a very pleasant stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The only small area for improvement would be the hallway cleanliness, which was just fair,but overall, it didn’t affect my stay. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is great for travelers, though there was some noticeable aircraft noise at times . I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others!

Stayed for the afternoon awaiting a late flight departure. Shuttle worked perfectly, both ways. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We received an early checkin. Our party of 4 chilled in our clean room until our 11:00 pm departure. Had lunch at the onsite restaurant. Good comfort food. Would recommend Accent.

When you speak to the right reception staff they can be very helpful, oyr 2nd day we were told we could use the shuttle to & from the airport for the skytrain into vancouver was better than a taxi & quicker. Also had bikes that you can use so we took advantage & explored the area, we were given a map to follow.coffee etc available 24 hrs in reception. didn't like - no on site restaurant / hot tub due to maintenance during our stay.

Fantastic hotel! Very easy shuttle service from Vancouver international airport. Staff are very friendly and welcoming! You also receive a cute rubber duck that you can take home. They offer coffee at the lobby and also coffee machines and a kettle are available in your room. They have Eggspectations restaurant attached to the hotel! Food was amazing. You get a discount if you stay at this hotel.

The room was clean and I appreciated the microwave, refrigerator and teapot in the room. The restaurant was very nice, serving huge portions with friendly service. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. I felt the overall price was quite expensive. Otherwise I was satisfied with stay.

Worn, tired, and in need of a refresh Staying at The Accent Hotel is a textbook three-star experience—it hits the minimum standard, but that is about where the praise stops. On the plus side, the location's surrounding grounds were fine, and the room was "clean" in the sense that housekeeping did their job, but the property itself looks every bit of its age. It is heavily worn and in desperate need of a full refresh. If they aren't going to update the facilities, the pricing needs to adjust to accurately reflect the dated condition of the property you are actually getting. Service-wise, it was lacking in staff friendliness, and convenience amenities are virtually nonexistent—the only notable perk in the lobby is an automated electric coffee machine. Furthermore, the location isn't particularly close to anything, most notably lacking proximity to the SkyTrain. Bottom Line: While it serves its basic purpose, it lacks the shiny, modern feel of newer builds, and the inconvenient location means I personally would not stay here again. Next time, I'll be booking elsewhere.
