Big Cedar Lodge

It was a beautiful property with so many places to explore. A little disappointed that our shuttle driver took us to a restaurant on the property that was closed and drove off. Wasted most of a morning on this mistake. Also could not find the hiding place for the ice bucket. Luckily the housekeeping staff manager who spoke English showed us where to look. We also had a run in with a frog in the hot tub that was full of debris. In their defense it stormed that afternoon and no one checked the pool and hot tub after. We will definitely be back as it was relaxing and beautiful.

Outdoor themed vacation stay. Staff is very helpful and considerate. Lots of activities for everyone's taste.

We loved our stay in Big Cedar's Glamping unit this weekend. It was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed using the Long Creek pool and hot tub area The outdoor bathtub and fire pit area was absolutely incredible. The only thing that would have made it better would be adults-only areas. When you finally get away from your kids for the weekend, you don't really want to hear someone else's screaming and crying. An adults-only pool would be amazing! The "tent" was amazing and so comfortable. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars was because the zippers on ours were broken. and you couldn't close it up very well. All in all we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a romantic weekend.

Other than room being dated and worn, it was clean and had added amenities! The surrounding property was beautiful and there was so much to do we did not need to go off property for additional entertainment! Recommend for weekend getaway and will return!!

Big Cedar Lodge has accommodations for any family/group size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They truly try to have entertainment for kids to adults. Food was delicious at the restaurants that we went to. You can be as busy or relaxed as you want to be.

The property was really nice. We loved the shuttle service. However, to get a 5 star rating from us you would need to, at minimum, supply guests with hot coffee in the lobby of each lodge in the mornings.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Big Cedar. Lots of activities and clean and comfortable accommodations. Staff was stellar. Friendly and Helpful. I have to say that the value was not all that great. My room was $600 give or take, and it was nothing special. Again, it was a great place and I would return. The value was my only gripe.

Cozy cabin stay with excellent winter amenities.

This was our 3rd stay at Jack’s Cabin and it never disappoints us. Something about having the whole mountain to yourself at night. Everything is always taking care of before you arrive and everyone is so helpful. A view like nothing else as if being steps from the green of hole number isn’t enough the view of Table Rock Lake is amazing. Everything lit up at night is wonderful. There is construction that has been going on for a few years adding an attraction but it’s quite in the late afternoon.

Very clean room

The room was very old and run down. Light fixtures didn’t work, an overwhelming musty smell, had not been cleaned properly… The mini fridge had opened wine bottles in it. The rooms located at Valley View are in desperate need of refurbishment. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had simply because the room was disgusting.

Everyone was extremely helpful and the room was clean. Everything about the property is exceptional.

The doors to the rooms didnt close all the way until you pushed on them. One of the rooms we stayed in the heat didnt work. The outside was nice.

Property is beautiful but the room was dated and worn. Bed felt like grandma's 20 year old mattress. Furniture was beaten up. Bath fixtures were dated. I get the rustic "vibe" but this just felt old. Restaurants were expensive with really mediocre food. Staff were all fantastic and friendly.

Property dated. Cottage small for the price. Rented a cabana and service was mediocre. Front desk gave wrong directions to cottage at check in and wouldn’t provide assistance when we locked ourselves out of the room. We had to return to the front desk only to be told we should have called and they would have brought us the key. First time to visit, will be the last. Not worth the hype.

A breathtakingly beautiful resort. Cottage charming and well stocked. Staff exceedingly helpful and friendly. Food at Mountain Top Grill excellent, service superb. Cottage location a bit hard to find & drive to. Roundabouts a bit confusing but traffic was light so you can figure out the way without rushing. All in all, a superb wilderness resort managed beautifully in lodges and cottages and on the vast grounds whicih are beautifully landscaped.

The beds and pillows are absolutely horrible. I woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck. If I stay again, I will strongly consider bringing my own pillows at minimum.

I wish I would have known that we would not actually have a lake view from our cabin. Very disappointed.

Check in staff distracted by and discussing other matters instead of attending to my questions.

The staff is friendly, but not very helpful. Emphasis is put on the mobile ap, rather than personal recommendations, which is a bit disappointing. We didn't want to spend time exploring the ap (which we had already looked at when trying to book) we wanted someone with experience to give suggestions for us to do during our less than 24 hour stay (that didn't happen). Weather cancelled our golf cart tour (not their fault) but there was nothing else anyone would suggest (again, we were directed to the ap) so we went to dinner at the Buzzard Bar. Food was good, service was friendly, and they had live music later in the evening. Welcome basket with popcorn & cookies was too tempting not to try (even though we don't typically eat this stuff) and was delicious! We got a couples massage in the morning, & were both asked about any problem areas, or areas to focus on. We both stated our lower backs were sore and needed attention. The relaxation was nice, but the areas that needed attention got the LEAST amount and if your going to ask, you should definitely try to give more attention to the specified areas! The amenities were great and as with the rest of the resort, it was beautiful! We had breakfast at the Truman Cafe, which was delicious! The coffee was good & the service was friendly! This is a beautiful property & one we hope to visit again when we have more time (but will book activities in advance and not rely on staff for help)

If you want to stay at Big Cedar resort. I highly recommend you to NOT STAY at “Camp Long Creek” it’s very inconvenient. Way too far for us. It doesn’t feel like you are staying at Big Cedar. The lady at the reception. I think her name is Tammy, was completely unhelpful to us. She definitely made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We asked her if she can point us to the infinity pool that was close to her place. And she pointed us to a completely different one. We had kids with us. And her direccional added an extra hour of waisted time. When I complained to a person in a chat line. They just gave me a phone number to call. We have come many times to Big Cedar. But this time was different. Maybe because we rented through a third party like Expedia. I don’t understand. And I don’t feel they made it right.

Amazing magical place. Great room and amazing surroundings. Staff is incredible. You will not be disaapointed! Can’t say enough good things! Stay here!

We love Big Cedar, but unfortunately this listing is misleading. This is not actually on Big Cedar property… it’s like 20 minute away. Knowing that I would not have booked.

Beautiful, even in the winter. Views were gorgeous. Only 1 restaurant open, but it was divine. A little coffee shop was open that had great coffee. Staff was so kind.

We had dinner at Uncle Bucks in Fun Mountain. The service was poor, our orders were wrong and felt like the price was not in line for the experience we had. The property was beautiful and we loved the rooms. Just had a bad dining experience is the only negative... however; we will surely come back, and just eat somewhere in Branson perhaps.

The property is beautiful. There are several things to do. The only thing we were not crazy about was the restaurant on the property that we chose. There are several and I'm sure several are good. At the one we chose the food was just ok. For sure not worth the $100 price tag for two people, with much food being left on the table.
