The More Hotel Västra Hamnen

Rent och fräscht. God frukost men ena morgonen var det kaos med alldeles för många gäster samtidigt. Bra att man kan ta frukosten med sej upp på rummet om man bor nära frukostbuffén. Perfekt att bo i studierum med hund. Läget i Västra hamnen är också perfekt med hund, ett stort område vid stranden anpassad för hundar. Ingen parkering utanför hotellet när man ska checka in där man kan lasta av sitt bagage. Det finns dock två parkeringshus väldigt nära men lite bökigt att behöva bära allt bagage när man har hundar med sej också.

Reasonably priced; loved laundry facilities. Good breakfast. Cleaning only offered for stays more than 5 days; would be nice to have broom and dustpan in the room to use.

Et dejligt ophold på The More. Værelset dejligt rummeligt til familien. Dejligt med et fuld udstyret køkken. Fitness faciliteterne var gode dog i et rum uden ventilation hvilket gav en middelmådig oplevelse. Dejlig morgenmad med fantastisk overnight oat og godt brød. Morgenmadsarealet er dog alt for småt især når det er samplaceret med ankomst/reception.

Veldig fint hotell og betjeningen er veldig hjelpsomme. Sendte epost på forhånd for å sjekke innsjekkkngsrutinen når man ankommer sent på kvelden og fikk kjapt og godt svar. Litt vanskelig med parkering hvis man ikke er kjent i området og kommer sent på kvelden. Rommene er i veldig god stand og veldig bra fasiliteter.

Nach 18Uhr Self-Check in, kein direkter Ansprechpartner. Um dem gesamten Komplex kein Parkplatz, nicht mal zum Be-und Entladen. Haben uns dann kurz ins Halteverbot gestellt um unsere Koffer loszuwerden. Parkhaus ca. 350m entfernt (das gegenüberliegende soll man nicht nutzen). Parkhaus ab 21 Uhr geschlossen, da muss man erstmal klingeln und Bescheid geben, dass man Hotelgast ist, dann wird das Tor geöffnet. Bezahlt wird per EasyPark App. Ansonsten Hotel Preis/ Leistung gut, sauber, Frühstück gut, wir waren zufrieden.

The More hotel apartments is the best. Apartments were clean. Kitchen utilities were present. Towels and toiletries were provided. Very good option to stay for a few days with family. Paid Parking was 200m away in a garage. We stayed with 2 children and we enjoyed. The breakfast options are not the great but then sufficient to start the day. Due to smaller size, the breakfast time must be booked in advance. There is no restaurant in the hotel.

Mini appartamenti con tutto il necessario anche per soggiorni medio lunghi, la lavastoviglie con le pastiglie già fornite da loro è stata molto apprezzata. Nella cucina è presente tutto il necessario, frigo e piastre elettriche. La lavanderia in comune deve essere prenotata e là si usa in esclusiva (una dose di detersivo già a disposizione, asciugatrici e lavatrici professionali). La sauna va prenotata e deve essere accesa con 1 ora di anticipo, la si usa in esclusiva ed è molto bella e pulita. La palestra ha attrezzi nuovi e pur essendo piccola è molto comoda, con sistema di aria forzata e ingresso massimo di 2 persone alla volta. La colazione è ottima sia dolce che salata, le ragazze che la gestistxono riescono a tenerla sempre ben riassortita e in ordine nonostante l’affluenza e lo spazio limitato. Il self check in è stato comodissimo e anche quando non è fisicamente presente una persona in reception, sono sempre immediatamente disponibili da remoto. Il quartiere è bellissimo e molto tranquillo.

Whilst being near the harbour area is lovely it’s quite isolated and i would have preferred a location closer to the Central Station. However the studio room was spacious and the breakfast quite nice. The gym is tiny and limited to 2 person use with no floor space to work out in. The staff in the hotel were very good.

Mycket trevligt lägenhetshotel med avslappnad vibe! Frukosten var inte så stor jämfört med vad man kan få på andra hotel, men den var väldigt fräsh och ett stort urbud av mackor, pålägg, yoghurt, ägg, och saker som ingefärashot och smoothies! Så är inget man kan klaga på. Hotellet har bastu man kan låna utan extra kostnad, och ett gym! Rummen är stora och luftiga, med ett fräsht kök med diskmaskin, kyl, frys, spis samt ugn. Vi lagade ej något själv, men det fanns kastruller och dylikt i lägenheten, och man kunde låna från hotellet om man behöver något mer. Rummet var mycket rent och fräsht! Med ett stort och fint badrum. Dock så var det en dusch/badkar kombo. Det kan hända att det inte faller alla i smaken. Receptionen var endast bemannad från 7-18. Men det hade ett nummer man kunde ringa 24/7! Mycket bra. Hotellet hade även utmärkt bussförbindelser och det var enkelt att ta sig in till centrala Malmö, men bussar som gick mycket ofta. Kommer absolut rekommendera stället till andra som ska hälsa på. 5/5! ❤️

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, rent och man kan hämta nya handdukar nere vid receptionen om man behöver. Helt okey frukost och bra med köket med riktig ugn.

Fint och bra. God frukost. Dock var det missat att städa under sängen på loftet från föregående gäster. Men trivdes toppen, kommer gärna tillbaka.

Super Unterkunft in Malmö in Nähe zur Innenstadt und zur Promenade. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte eine gute Größe. Das Frühstück war top! Einziger Minuspunkt war, dass das Zimmer nicht ganz sauber war. So lag unter dem Sofa noch eine leere Kekspackung vom vorherigen Gast und an der Decke waren viele Spinnenweben.

The More Hotel Vastra Hamnen was first class! Slightly out of the town centre, but well connected by an excellent bus service (bus #5 from the train station stops right outside the hotel). The Turning Torso (tallest building in Scandinavia), is very close so you're always able to find your bearings when exploring the rest of the town. The reception staff were SO helpful, before and during our stay - giving recommendations of places to visits and local info. Nothing was too much effort for them - they really went the extra mile! A time slot for breakfast has to be booked in advance, as the breakfasting area is quite small, and even with the booking system, it can get quite congested. Food was replenished very frequently, so it is always fresh/ at correct temperature. Soaked oats with nuts, seeds and fruit were a family favourite! We had a 'Standard Studio (Sofa Bed)', which was quite different from the photo in Hotels.com, as the sleeping and lounge areas are all in the one room, but is was very comfortable. It would benefit from more hanging space and drawer space for clothes - we ended up hanging clothes over chairs, which wasn't ideal as we then couldn't sit on the chairs! Shower room was great, and fresh towels were always available on a 'help yourself' basis from reception. Hotel was always spotlessly clean. Altogether, a really great hotel.

Der gesamtzustand ist gut. Einen Punkt abzug für die Sauberkeit im Bad, das hätte etwas besser Geputzt sein können. Frühstück und Personal wie immer gut und Freundlich.

The AC wasn't working and the linens felt overly hot. The towels were not changed out and got wet really quickly getting out of the shower.

We were a family 5 and had a wonderful stay. the room we had was spacious. with a washing machine and dishwasher, big dinning table. felt like everything were very new. Breakfast included. Choice is limited but fresh and tasty, refill frequently. there are big washing machine x 2 and dryer x2, booking is required (booking the time slot of the entire utility room) a supermarket and a bus stop nearby. easy to get to the central area.

It was a large apartment room. Good ensuite and comfy bed.The layout was a bit weird with the TV behind the sofa. Kitchenette was clean. No tea or coffee provided in the room. Breakfast was great. It's a bit out of the way.

Our loft unit was very spacious and clean. Although it is not quite walkable from Malmo Central Station, Bus route 5 stops near the hotel to/from Malmo central station and it takes about 7 min. Turning Torso is just 10 min walk from the hotel. Staff is very friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Frukosten passade inte mig fanns inget småvarmt till äggröran. Bara en sorts ost. Rummet var för varmt. Har bott många gånger på More i Lund och hade höga förväntningar som inte infriades

Great spacious room with kitchen and seating area - great for longer stays. The breakfast area is small but you can bring your breakfast to the room if you wish. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available 24/7 in the lobby. We would come back.

Jättefin studio i 2 plan. Dubbelsäng 1 tr upp. Supergoa sängar. Pentry med kyl/frysfack, spis/ugn och diskmaskin. Köket var lite dålig utrustad men man fick det att fungera i alla fall. Go frukost, tips: boka tid på nätet så är du säker att får en plats att sitta på.

Nice, new and clean. Very basic, but overall relaxing and roomy area to watch tv and hang out! Loved the new, large, clean, free standing tub.

Das Frühstück war mehr als perfekt-sehr gute Auswahl und super freundliches Personal! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hatte eine gute Qualität! Alles in einem eine sehr gute Unterkunft! Immer wieder gerne!

The property is broken into a few buildings but was in a quiet and safe area. Walksble but has the bus just outside that links the city and the station. Handy supermarket and a wine shop which was huge. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Har bott här flera gånger tidigare på båda hotell i Malmö. Har bott på alla hotell i Malmö senaste halvåret och detta är det enda jag verkligen skulle rekommendera. Det förstår vikten av service och får en att känna sig välkommen personalen är utbildad med uppgiften att gästen alltid ska komma först. Tyvärr är servicen hotell i Malmö och Sverige inte vad man kan önska som en frekvent hotellgäst runtom i världen. Därför är det upplyftande och glädjande att the More hotel bryter denna trend och växlar upp. Väldigt prisvärt personligt bemötande känsla av ett hem utanför hemmet.

Rent och snyggt boende. Fick inget mejl innan ankomst så blev lite strul vid incheckning då vi kom efter 18, men det löste sig efter lite krångel.

Keine Zusendung einer SMS mit einer Information über einen Schlüsselcode oder eine Besetzung der Rezeption auch nach 18.00 Uhr. Mit etwas Glück waren wir um 17.50 Uhr im Hotel. Eine Nachricht, die nach der Angabe des Hotels erfolgen sollte wäre sehr hilfreich gewesen, so würden wir das Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Absolutely amazing hotel! The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. The staff were very accommodating, we requested early check in, which was granted and they were so helpful with all queries. Really liked that fresh linen and towels were available if required, plus guests have free use of the laundry facilities. The parking arrangement was very convenient and the general location is fantastic, it is quiet but there are restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach and Malmö centre is only a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.

Da ich erst um 21 Uhr anreiste versprach mir die Unterkunft einen Zutrittscode zu senden. Leider erhielt ich keinen und es war ein erheblicher Aufwand trotzdem zu Zimmer zu kommen. Darauf angesprochen meinte die Rezeption ich hätte mich halt rechtzeitig nochmals melden müssen.

Frühstücksraum wie schon beschrieben klein, aber trotzdem nicht störend. Gut gelegen. Nicht weit bis zu den Badegelegenheiten. Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nahverkehr mit der entsprechenden App sehr gut nutzbar. Parken in der Nähe gegen Gebühr an vielen Stellen möglich. Das Parkhaus neben Coop wurde vom Hotel empfohlen und war sehr gut nutzbar. Die Parkgebühren sind hoch - aber das war ja zu erwarten. Spätanreise in Abstimmung mit dem Hotel auch außerhalb der Rezeptionszeiten unproblematisch möglich.

A sweet hotel with a lovely courtyard and excellent breakfast. It’s in a quieter part of the city, easily accessible by bicycle. I didn’t try the bus but that also seems like an easy way to connect to other parts of the city.

There were many things we liked with this hotel: - The location close to the city center, train station, beach and turning torso. - The room was clean, had a good layout, and a fully equipped kitchen. The studio loft was a very fun detail for our child. - The staff were friendly and helpful. - The breakfast was good.

Fint hotel - men ligger 15-20 minutters gang fra centrum.

Väldigt fräsch lägenhet med egen ingång. Nästan alla bekvämligheter som hemma, bra garderob, det mesta fanns i köket. Jättebra läge, nära centrum, badet, mataffärer o restauranger. Bussen utanför hotellet. Det enda som vi saknade va en sopborste i lägenheten. God frukost. Totalt sett väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse på detta hotell.

The hotel was in a quiet and new area. Our room was good and we liked the added bonus of the kitchen. The breakfast options were very good and being able to take it back to our room was great too. We hired Malmo by Bike bikes which were great and easy to use, and we managed to see a lot of places. We also walked a lot and used the local bus once (to go back to the central train station with our luggage). . We did Malmo Ribersborg parkrun, which was lovely, and we were made very welcome.

Morgenmadsbuféen var meget i betragtning af, hvor mange mennesker, der bor på hotellet, og det var ukomfortabelt at skulle sidde som sild i en tønde i stueetagen, derfor valgte vi at gå op ad den stejle vindeltrappe til 1. salen, hvor man så alligevel sad lidt ubekvemt ved siden af indgangen til motionsrummet og saunaen. Værelset var helt ok, men kedeligt indrettet.

Denna sovfabrik är själsdödande och klinisk ren från någon form av stil. Frukosten är Kafkaaktig: Om man inte har varit inne i en app och beställt frukosttid, så blir man uppföst till skammens väggbänk på andra våningen i detta minimala frukoutrymme/reception. Absurt! Det är inget hotell, det är en förvaringsplats för stackars resenärer.

Allt var över lag väldigt bra, smidigt att checka in, fräscht hotellrum, bra förbindelser in till centrum. Lite besviken på frukosten då det inte fanns något varmt alternativ.

Fräscht och modernt boende som är perfekt för en familj. Ligger i ett mysigt område i Malmö med promenadavstånd till det mesta. Frukosten var även den bra, men själva frukost miljön är väldigt liten.

Superbra rum bättre än på bilden! Rent snyggt frukosten var jätte bra eftersom vi hade veganer i sällskapet 🌱. Vi kommer tillbaka 🙌🙌🙌🙌

The sofa bed was not too great, but that's always the case with these things, I had worse ones. The apartment quite big und definiteley something where I would stay for longer as a family if I come to Malmö again. The breakfast ist absolutely great, but make sure you book your table, otherwise you might have to wait.
