This property was very disappointing and not as advertised. The photos online are misleading and do not reflect the condition of the standard rooms. While the courtyard area is nice and looks like the pictures, that seems limited to the suites. The regular rooms are outdated, worn down, and feel very low budget. Our room had a strong mildew/mold smell. The bathroom did not feel clean—the shower curtain was plastic and visibly dirty with built-up soap scum. The sink drained very slowly, which added to the frustration. There was only one thin curtain that barely covered the window, offering little privacy. There also appeared to be an issue a couple of rooms down, as staff were going in and out for two days and left the door propped open the entire time. The “poolside bar” is actually part of the office/lobby area and serves pre-made bottled cocktails, not what is shown in the photos. The cocktails pictured appear to come from a neighboring restaurant, which is not part of the motel. That restaurant was rarely open, and the hours listed on the motel’s website did not match reality. The staff was friendly, but overall this felt like a low-budget motel being marketed and priced like a much nicer property. Not worth the cost, and I would not stay here again. Do not stay here, unless prices are extremely low matching the quality.

Staff was super friendly/helpful. I think don’t judge a book by its cover is a good descriptor, because the room interior was very nice.

The room is modern but it was a bit chilly on a very cold Kentucky night. No staff on site during our stay. Great location.
