Corner Cottage is a very nice cottage in a lovely village but we did have a couple of problems that, as it turned out, were not exclusive to this cottage. We found it was invaded to a minor degree with wood lice, but this is a problem more to do with the weather and it is not the only cottage in the area with the problem. There was also a damp smell throughout, (which was commented on by previous guests in the reviews), that we got used to so that didn't spoil our experience too much. The feedback from the agency was very good and the housekeeper, Keith, came around and explained the background to the problem of the bugs. He offered to clean the cottage again but as we were leaving in two days anyway we declined the offer. As I say, we got used to the problems, and they didn't spoil our experience too much. The village is ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds and the cottage was nicely decorated and the double bed on the first floor was comfortable, but being only a double it was too small for two adults I felt and one of us slept in the single bed on the first floor. We abandoned the double bed on the top floor because it seemed to be favoured by the bugs, whereas the ground and first floor not so much.
