Nice and clean however the advertise swimming pool does not exist. Breakfast was very good. Noisy at night, the room above had someone pacing the room constantly on a creaky floor which was both alarming and irritating. Good average hotel but not much else to offer apart from the room and food.

This is a great little hotel, lots of parking, easy to walk to shopping, the in hotel resturant offers a fabulous breakfast and dinner. The hotel its self is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the area is quiet and easy to get to. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and as a whole our stay there was relaxing.

Très bon petit déjeuner, literie très bien et chambre spacieuse, bref tout est ok sauf insonorisation, quand votre voisin au fort accent local discute jusqu’à minuit… par ailleurs la salle de bains mériterait un petit rafraîchissement et absence d’ascenseur pour les chambres au 1er étage… (donc demander chambre au rdc si difficultés d’accès…). Personnel accueillant et serviable. Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de visiter la piscine, donc pas d’info à ce sujet. Parking gratuit facile accès .

The room was very shabby and in need of replacement. Bathroom door was warped from moisture and had huge holes where the hooks had been ripped out from the back, splinters sticking out. No extractor fan in bathroom and shower head was really old and dirty. Everything in the hotel felt really uncared for and drab. Breakfast was excellent though and good location and parking.

Our family has stayed here many times. Family lives near and it’s convenient to New Castle West. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good. I always enjoy the full Irish! It’s not luxurious, but if you’re in Newcastle West you’ll be comfortable and pleased.

This is a great little hotel, lots of parking, easy to walk to shopping, the in hotel resturant offers a fabulous breakfast and dinner. The hotel its self is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the area is quiet and easy to get to. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and as a whole our stay there was relaxing.

It was a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The only thing we had issues with was the noise. We stayed 3 nights, and every night the hotel had an event with loud music and lots of people. It really wasn't bad, except that the we needed to open the windows to cool the room and then it was a bit louder. On top of that we could hear the people above us stomping around, and the 5am wake up call from their baby wasn't much fun either. Understand that babies are going to cry, but the hotel could use some soundproofing.

Can't recommend staying at The Longcourt House, mostly for a real lack of cleanliness. Our room had cobwebs and spiders in it and there was mold on the shower walls. We asked for a thorough cleaning, but nothing was done to address those concerns. The rest of the hotel wasn't very clean either. The carpets seemed very dirty and the multiple air fresheners in the hall made me think they were covering up a bad smell. The bathrooms near the dining area had trash and dirty dishes in them. The stairwell on the back side of the hotel was very dingy and had trash laying around and random things stored like a weirdly large stuffed goat. The walls are incredibly thin and the floors are very creaky. Got woken up by the people next to us and above us snoring in the night and you couldn't move without the floor making a decently loud creak. The included breakfast was not great either. Don't waste you money, find somewhere better to stay.

Friendly staff, dinner and breakfast were good. Thin walls and a squeaky ceiling in our room. We could hear every step from our noisy neighbors on the upper floor, and the guy snoring in the next room. Bathroom and room need some renovation. However, it was ok for a one night stay in our tour through Ireland

Unfortunately, due to Storm Chandra, I was unable to stay at the hotel. Despite asking to cancel before midday, hotel would not cancel my booking, charged me for the complete stay, quoting the need to 'uphold the original cancellation policy'... Obviously someone making this decision, has never been unlucky or needed another human to help them... very sad.

Stayed one night. First floor single room. Unfortunately we had some bad luck. First few hours of the evening their were kids running up and down the hallway. Crazy that the front desk employees wouldnt say anything to the parents who sat in the lobby. Dinner was good ! 4am comes along. The fire alarm goes off for 20 minutes. Stayed here based off the reviews. Would take a second look around next time.

The staff is great. The property is showing its age in a lot of areas. There is the restaurant and a single pub nearby. The people at the pub weren’t friendly. I’d probably rather stay somewhere with a bit more to do nearby.

Hi we enjoyed our stay at Longcourt, it was on the main road but never really heard any traffic, Not much to do in newcastle west it was easier to jump on the hourly bus to limmerick 7eu return which was much better and if it hadnt been for busy trains we would have gone to cork for the day 22eu return, restraunt was good as was the room and conceirge was very helpful, only there for 2 days, would have liked more time but was quite central for getting about the SW area
