Fantastic experience! Nice large room with many amenities including communal jacuzzi and lounge. Highlight is the three course viking themed dinner every night (extra charge) with each delicious course accompanied by a story. Lovely relaxed vibe. Conveniently located between Geiranger, Andalsnes, the Sunmore Alps, and Alesund.

Décor moderne , classe. Ne pas rater le repas dans la Viking House , assez exceptionnel. Le jacuzzi est vieillissant. Un bon point pour les chargeurs pour véhicule électrique. Une journée rando au Gebrandsjuvet était superbe et a complété le séjour car l'hôtel est un peu isolé ( à 1 h 10 de Geiranger )

This was a completely unexpected find! While booking our trip in Norway I could not find a hotel that was available in Geiranger. Since we were driving in from Alesund, I just back tracked along the road until I found Blåtind Boutique Hotel. Looked unassuming in the pictures but I decided to give it a try. This place is amazing! This property is amazing! We arrived just in time for dinner which was a delicious 3-course meal all sourced locally. Our host, Ole, announced each course and it was paired with a delicious wine. We stayed up to almost 2:30am chatting with guests while Ole continued to attend to us. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. They have a hot tub for us and many places to sit and just enjoy the scenery. The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. It is a little over an hour drive to Geiranger (with one ferry) so it was easy drive after a great nights sleep (well, maybe I had too much wine). We loved it so much I asked to stay another night and Ole was able to accommodate us. I would love to stay here again!

This was the perfect getaway and recharge in the middle of our two week honeymoon trip. It was very calm and relaxing. They have lovely areas outside, downstairs, and upstairs to relax or play games. They have outdoor fire pits and hot tubs. They allowed us to join the Viking dinner experience at the last minute (we didn’t see the email invite the day before). We highly recommend joining for the Viking dinner experience and we highly recommend staying here. The food and drinks were amazing. We will be back for our anniversary one year! The staff were so kind and helpful and gave us great recommendations for our trip.

Underbart hus, inredning och omgivningar. Fantastisk utsikt mot bergen om man ber om ett rum i rätt läge (vilket vi fick, fin service). Områdeskunnig receptionist. God mat. Tillgång till jacuzzi. En förbättring skulle kunna vara att ordna med avgränsning mot grannen, på balkongerna, så det blir mer privat känsla.

Geweldig verblijf met een grote kamer met balkon en fraai uitzicht op de bergen. Opvallend is de service, men bood aan met de koffers te helpen. Diner een vast menu maar uitstekende kwaliteit. Zeer ruim opgezet met grote relax ruimte met uitzicht en koffie. De whirlpool buiten met uitzicht is een leuke ervaring!

The excellent service from all staff. Based on our interests Ole the owner worked out itineraries for us which we found very helpful. The food was delicious and we recommend the Viking experience dinner. This was held in their Viking Hall. The room, including the bed was comfortable with a large relaxing common lounge area just outside our room. The views were mountainous with mist, with a verandah encircling the building. Blåtind was a few kms out of town and very peaceful. Best stay so far on our Norway holiday!

Il posto è isolato tra i boschi, bellissimo, purtroppo il tempo era brutto. Data la distanza da altri posti abbiamo cenato in hotel, ovviamente con i prezzi norvegesi..., però la seconda sera abbiamo avuto una simpatica sorpresa: avevano preparato la cena in una particolare sala vichinga con menù a tema.

Vi hade junior rummet, jättefint och stort rum. Badrummet hade badkar. Frukosten var jättegod och på kvällen fanns det även gryta och pizza tillgänglig om man ville äta nåt. Mycket fin utsikt när man satt och åt. Riktigt fräscha lokaler och det luktade gott överallt. Personalen var också väldigt hjälpsam med allt och rekommenderade sevärdheter i närheten.

Not worth the money, way too expensive for what they offer. For folks who are on the road and need to have a bit of food with them, be aware of no fridge in the room. Breakfast very good, but supper options are very limited and over priced. At least in our room bathroom was clean but there was a funky smell coming out of it. Would not stay there again.

It is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our stay at a beautiful room with a mountain view. Drive into the property is tricky but it is nicely situated in the mountain side. Dinner was special and delicious. We loved warm hospitality by the staff.

A stunning experience, location and stay. The hotel is a little out of the. (No bad thing!) but well worth it. The staff were superb, the room was superb and the dinner fantastic. A wonderful bed, well appointed room with a view to die for.

Flott suite men dårlig utstyrt kjøkken og dette var ekstra kjedelig da det også var begrenset meny da vi ankom sultne. Sengen var ikke all verden. Ikke «queen size» som annonsert men derimot to enkeltsenger skøvet inntil hverandre.

Ole the owner/manager was a great help to us. He provided us info to use the ferries and he really helped us a lot with our phone. All the staff was also very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Excllent breakfast. Be careful when you approach this hotel, there is only a little sign on the road next to the driveway, if you blink you will miss it like I did!

Fint hotel med fantastisk hyggelig personale. Nydelig beliggenhet i rolige, vakre ongivelser. Maten er kortreist og lagd med kjærlighet. Vi fikk en personlig og god velkomst- kan virkelig anbefale dette stedet!

couldnt of been morw helpfull. This hotel is very different to all the others we stayed in on this trip but different in a good way. The servixe from Ole was first class and made us very welcome right down to helping us plan our route back to Oslo on the last day.

Great hotel that is newly renovated so in great shape. They were understaffed so a bit confused and overloaded but they tried hard to accomodate extra wishes (e.g. food four our 1.5 year old) - big thanks to Mark! When you stay longer (4 days for us) the dinner menu repeats itself which was a bit disappointing. It tastes good but not when having the same after 2 days.

The excellent service from all staff. Based on our interests Ole the owner worked out itineraries for us which we found very helpful. The food was delicious and we recommend the Viking experience dinner. This was held in their Viking Hall. The room, including the bed was comfortable with a large relaxing common lounge area just outside our room. The views were mountainous with mist, with a verandah encircling the building. Blåtind was a few kms out of town and very peaceful. Best stay so far on our Norway holiday!

Ole the owner/manager was a great help to us. He provided us info to use the ferries and he really helped us a lot with our phone. All the staff was also very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Excllent breakfast. Be careful when you approach this hotel, there is only a little sign on the road next to the driveway, if you blink you will miss it like I did!

It is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our stay at a beautiful room with a mountain view. Drive into the property is tricky but it is nicely situated in the mountain side. Dinner was special and delicious. We loved warm hospitality by the staff.

A stunning experience, location and stay. The hotel is a little out of the. (No bad thing!) but well worth it. The staff were superb, the room was superb and the dinner fantastic. A wonderful bed, well appointed room with a view to die for.

Fantastisk opphold og Middag. Litt lite organisert frokost og lite utvalg. Manglet gripebestikk på hele kald bufferen og gikk tomt for de eneste varmrettene bacon og eggerøre fort, som tok lang tid før det ble fylt på. Alt annet var perfect👍👌 Rommene var store og flotte

Not worth the money, way too expensive for what they offer. For folks who are on the road and need to have a bit of food with them, be aware of no fridge in the room. Breakfast very good, but supper options are very limited and over priced. At least in our room bathroom was clean but there was a funky smell coming out of it. Would not stay there again.

The property was well kept, quiet and comfortable. There was a daily dinner and that was the Only option, not everyone wants to social after a whole day of being outside, they should have a regular functional restaurant to be able to get food, lunch and dinner. The breakfast was good! Definitely room to improve.

Rommene vi hadde var kjempefine, store og komfortable. Men det var litt fort mye "duftpinner" både på rom og i fellesrom, det er ikke alle som liker slike lukter like godt, så fint om dere reduserer litt på disse. couldnt of been morw helpfull. This hotel is very different to all the others we stayed in on this trip but different in a good way. The servixe from Ole was first class and made us very welcome right down to helping us plan our route back to Oslo on the last day.
