Can’t see sign from main road and street to turn on is pitch black at night. No signs on side or back of building where you have to turn into the property. Construction made it also difficult to find on GPS.

my stay was easy to book (thanks for that) and I was very comfortable and felt safe traveling alone. I would have enjoyed more light in the parking lot as I left to catch a flight while it was still dark outside.

I always stay here for an early morning departure from CHO. I'm happy this hotel is so close and appreciate that it is also close to the Bojangles if I need it. Hotel is clean and reasonably kept. Parking is easily accessible. I felt safe here even though it was darker away from the door. They could benefit from a couple more accessible parking spaces. The lower rating is that I could not find anyone to check out. There was a sign. I was just ready to leave. A little annoyance as I like paper receipts.

I liked that there are two exit/entry doors so I could go directly to my vehicle if it was parked in the front parking area or the rear parking area. The little coffee bar was nice also.

We came in with one person ahead of us. One man working the hotel alone. Took 25 minutes to check in. Once we got to our room it was obvious the bed was remade with DIRTY SHEETS. There was dirt on the top of the comforter. Thats why I looked under it. I called to ask the man for a different room. He said they are all dirty - housekeeping didn't show up. He came up to change the bed sheets and we helped him. He said the owner does not care and the GM won't show up. I checked out in the morning, different front desk prson I said, "I have never had to help staff change my sheets" He said, "you think that's bad I have to check out 60 guests, make the complimentary breakfast and clean rooms! I was just hired on and housekeeping what not my job neither was food prep" He said he called the GM for help and they won't come in and the owner doesn't care. I will NEVER stay at this place again. This property gives Choice a BAD NAME.

THIN WALLS! New construction. No privacy from room to room. Had to be moved because another guest was blasting their TV well after 10pm and wouldn’t turn it down. Front desk moved us to another room. It was quiet for one night. The third night someone was in the room next to us and we could hear EVERYTHING. Their laughing, tv , bumping around, etc. Would have been a 5 star Comfort Inn stay otherwise. Seems like the newer build hotels skimp on sound insulation from room to room. :( Do better Comfort Inn.

Room facing 29 you could hear traffic. Bed mattress felt “old”. I did not investigate, but I felt like I was sleeping on waterproof bedding? Bfast Fri am NO Hot oatmeal, not even make your own packets. Sat was better but at $310 /night, pretty cheap fare! Choice needs to upgrade coffee fare. I would expect something more for your top offering. OK for Econolodge but not what I expect for Comfort Inn & Suites. BTW: I booked they a 3rd party bc it was $100 cheaper than using Choice Website (plus room was an upgrade)!

Check in was easy and the lady at the desk was super nice. Breakfast was surpisingly very good. Coffee was great! Room was very spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable. Shower was updated and a good size. Loved having a full size counter along with the sink. Only problem was the AC unit was struggling severely. Room never got below 73°.

Staff pounded on the door 3rd morning at 6:45AM and yelling if anyone was inside. He woke us up and When the door was opened two men were standing at the door and one of the men was the man that checked us in. He was saying the last person who stayed there might have left something inside. This was very strange as we had already been there several days. He was also carrying a box so not sure what they had in mind. I did not allow him in and closed the door on him. I went to complain at the desk but he was the only one there and was very rude and refused to call manager or owner. We felt very unsafe at that point.

The best part about the hotel was the gentleman at the front desk. He was super nice and accommodating! I saw him multiple times dealing with difficult guests and he always kept his cool. This hotel is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and beds were comfy.

The hotel is nice, the location is good. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We did have one staff memeber at the desk who was just rude. She was dismissive , and was not happy about having her private phone calls interrupted. Aside from that it is a good place to stay.

The hotel was fine for the price. It was clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was standard hotel fare. It is about 10 minutes from Charlottesville and the University of Virginia and about 20 minutes from Monticello.

A very comfortable stay just outside Charlottesville. The hotel is well-run, friendly, clean, and comfortable. Very well maintained. I found nothing lacking, and the price is quite reasonable. I will definitely stay here again while in Cville. There is a bit of road noise if your room faces Rt 29 N, but the trade-off is a lovely view of the distant hills from the third floor.

The property, my room was very clean! Outstanding. The breakfast was one of the worst I've experienced during my stays. Just get small muffins, yogurt varieties and better warm ingredients. Coffee was nice and bold.

Not worth the price we paid. $250 for a single night WELL north of downtown was WAY too much. Half that price would've been more reasonable for Charlottesville to be this far north for this caliber of a hotel. ***The breakfast was AWFUL!!! Don't eat it!

Great 2nt stay. Hotel is 2 years young, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Full breakfast is offered and served until 10am which is nice for those of us that are not early risers on vacation! Front desk management team and associates are the nicest people. The rates were reasonable. Will stay here again.

There needs to more hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels. 1 hook is not enough for 2 bath towels and a hand towel. Small pillows are meant for couches not beds. Breakfast was ok, hot items were luke warm.
