It's older, but I wasn't looking for luxury accomodations. It has a very nice pond with a fountain and picnic/bbq area up front. The rooms could use some updating, but it looked to me like updating is in progress. They actually followed my request for no air freshener. High points for that! If you're looking for clean and quiet (it is on the main rd, but as I was in the back, the road noise was minimal)...this is a good place.

A very nice place to stay, it was nice and quiet, very clean and also very reasonably priced. The driveways were very wide and easy to navigate , since I was towing a trailer, that was important to me.

Quick check in, quiet, relaxing, loved the pond and fire pit. Owner very personable and easy to communicate with. You could tell she took pride in the motel and worked hard so that people who stayed there needs were met.

This is an older one story country type setting motel and needs to be keep in mind. If you are looking for fancy or modern this not the stay for you. Convenient parking right at your door. Room and bath older but very clean. Mattress amazing. Enjoyed the walk to the pond and swinging on the wooden swing. Many restaurants and shopping within two miles as is exit off I75. The room rates outstanding especially for a one night stay.

The room smelled like stale cigarettes. The sheets and shower liner were stained. There were a variety of bugs in the room and the door locking mechanism was faulty. We actually left and slept at a rest area.

I really wanted to like this place. The lady at check in was amazing, very personable. The room was pretty dated, that's understandable considering the low prices that they charge. I had two issues with the room, as I opened the curtains there was a huge cobweb in the corner of the room. As i looked , all corners had good sized cobwebs. Not a big deal but also not a good impression. The bigger issue was that as i checked the mattress for any signs of bed bugs I noticed huge stain and no mattress protector or mattress pad. So the only thing separating me from this huge stain was one thin sheet, gross. We went to Walmart and bought a cheap blanket to cover the sheets And slept on that. It looked like they were trying because i noticed new carpet and fresh paint but they still have a ways to go. The property is beautiful and they had a fire both nights which was a nice touch. For some reason I liked this place, I would rather give my money to a mom & pop any day. I'm not saying don't stay here but you might want to bring an extra blanket to cover the bed.

For a non smoking room it sure did smell like smoke. There were 2 beers in the fridge though when I got there. The factory sealed bag with the coffee pouch in it was already ripped wide open. Other than that it was nice

Yuck! Not only was the smell of marijuana absolutely overwhelming, there was also bed bugs! Marijuana usually doesn’t bother me but my god it was just too much. The last straw was finding a bed bug. Packed our stuff and immediately left. Would not recommend. The pictures shown online are misleading as well. The room was not anything like what is pictured.

We had one of the renovated rooms and it was wonderful. Very roomy, king size bed, walk out slider to a wooded courtyard. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Would return and tell friends about it.

This us such a quaint, convenient little motel. Management is warm and personable. This is a very dated motel, but they're renovating as they can. The rooms in the back have been renovated and have king beds. We stayed in the front. I like these little motels because you can park right in front of your door. The bed and pillows were comfortable, large fridge, and a microwave. My room had a shower/bathtub. The shower isn't fantastic. Although the pressure is adequate, the temperature is affected if someone is using the sink. It also takes a long time to get the temperature regulated. But I would definitely stay here again. Restaurants and Walmart are very close, and it's not far from the interstate. My comment about the gazebo is because it's falling apart and they have it all blocked off for safety.

We checked in around two and asked for towels bc there were only 2 bath towels in the room and we came back at 10:30 pm and no one had brought hand towels or washcloths. No one was in the office. I thought I could get them the next morning but we left the next day at 10:15 and no one had showed up in the office yet. There was no shampoo and a used piece of soap by the sink. We could feel the springs in the mattress and it was very uncomfortable. The room smelled like smoke and there were ashes on the nightstand. Other people were waiting for someone to show up at the office too because they had ticks in their room. I think no one showed up because they didn’t want to deal with the problems. Never again. Awful hotel.

The manager, Jose, wants the motel to succeed. He's putting in lots of effort and he treated us well. Granted the motel is dated, but clean and its wonderful not having to carry luggage great distances like most hotels. In this case from the SUV to the motel room door, within 25 feet. Jose asked if we wanted to use the firepit and he helped build the fire and made sure we were enjoying it. Good value and good people.

Our room was quite clean and comfortable. The property could use some "sprucing up." The coffee pot lid was broken. There was no lock on screen patio door. There are a lot of cigarettes butts outside entry door as well as leaves which got tracked into room. IF I had a leaf blower, I would have blown the area in front of customer doors a couple times a day. All in all, it was a very comfortable bed with nice pillows. The desk clerk was very cordial and friendly. The location is also convenient.

Very quaint. Staff is very friendly and genuinely care about your stay. Very quiet, peaceful here. This was a first stay in the area, and I like the quiet as opposed to the hustle of the big chain motels. Very conveniently located.

I grew up in West Branch and didn't know this quaint little place existed. I loved it! The room I stayed in was clean, quiet, freshened up, had all necessary amenities and opened to a very nice little clearing with lots of trees and birds chirping. Really captured the up north energy. Close to downtown and the hamburger hill part of West Branch. 10/10.

I travel for work 75% of the month, and this place was a breath of fresh air! Great service, bed was comfortable, price was fair (78 with taxes and fees), there isn’t a breakfast or anything but that was completely fine. It’s in a beautiful area and I had everything I needed for the night in the room. It has character and was a great break from the usual hotel chain! Will definitely use this place every time I’m in the area!

Very friendly owner. Great service. Pet friendly. Very good price. Super shower water pressure/hot. Room was very clean! Near by Mexican restaurant for dinner and coffee hut down the street for morning coffee made for a perfect stay.

The motel is not high luxury but it meets the needs of an overnight stay. It’s clean and quaint. It’s a mom and pop place and is working hard to survive conglomerates. We will stay again if we travel north. Lots of restaurants and fast food very close.

Nice pond of water in front. Easy to find. Simple, clean and staff friendly. No breakfast but coffee in the room and tea bags provided when I asked.

This us such a quaint, convenient little motel. Management is warm and personable. This is a very dated motel, but they're renovating as they can. The rooms in the back have been renovated and have king beds. We stayed in the front. I like these little motels because you can park right in front of your door. The bed and pillows were comfortable, large fridge, and a microwave. My room had a shower/bathtub. The shower isn't fantastic. Although the pressure is adequate, the temperature is affected if someone is using the sink. It also takes a long time to get the temperature regulated. But I would definitely stay here again. Restaurants and Walmart are very close, and it's not far from the interstate. My comment about the gazebo is because it's falling apart and they have it all blocked off for safety.

I grew up in West Branch and didn't know this quaint little place existed. I loved it! The room I stayed in was clean, quiet, freshened up, had all necessary amenities and opened to a very nice little clearing with lots of trees and birds chirping. Really captured the up north energy. Close to downtown and the hamburger hill part of West Branch. 10/10.
