The location is great as there are many walkable options for food and entertainment. The breakfast was good and caters to most diets with meat options changing daily. Overall, our experience here was good. Parking is valet ($25/daily) or street parking. At car drop off, space is limited and you may need to wait 10+ minutes to be able to pull up but staff are extremely friendly. The waterpark was small but just enough for my two kiddos. It was clean and provided great shade after being at the beach. The elevators were a pain for two exhausted parents but provided entertainment to my kids as you frequently stop at each floor. The room we selected was perfect for our family of 4.

Beautiful beach view from our balcony and super easy access to the beach! The room was clean and comfy, and the staff was amazing—so friendly and on top of everything. The valet guys were my favorite! Just really nice, down-to-earth guys who opened doors and were total gentlemen. The whole bottom floor is all pools, hot tubs, and water slides, which was honestly the best part. We had such a great stay and will definitely be back!

Only stayed one night but loved the pool/waterpark area, my son had a blast. Beach access was easy and right out side. A few areas of the hotel were run down looking and needed just some cosmetic attention. Beds were comfortable and the room was overall nice. The valet parking was slow. Waited almost 20 minutes just to turn off of the street into the loading area of the hotel. Over all experience was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would look into staying here again if we are coming to the area.

The hotel was nice. Staff were all pleasant. Indoor waterpark was good-One slide of the two were operating; my daughter was so happy! The room smelled like moldy wet carpet. I left the balcony door open just to air it out a bit. Not sure when cleaning crew comes in but there were Trash bins outside so full and still full the next day when I came down. Also, someone left their drink outside and the next morning it was still there. Breakfast was good- average! Beach chairs had to be rented for $15/day- A lot of guests weren’t pleased. Overall I rate the hotel an 8.

Valet is a nightmare. There is really not enough space for dropping off your car and picking it up. They should really consider a self-parking option to alleviate the wait times for valet. I requested a room with a bathtub, the front desk confirmed I was getting a room with a tub upon check in, however room did not have a bathtub. Housekeeping is every other day, so we did not experience a cleaning due to our short stay, however, there was food in our microwave from the guests before us. Upon checkout, my receipt had been emailed to me and I realized I was charged for something at the “suite shop” which I, nor my family, never visited. I called back to dispute and the front desk did offer to refund me for it, which was appreciated. The water park was perfect for children, and the rooms were a great size, but based on our overall experience, we would probably not return.

This was a great place for our family vacation. The water park gave my child a place to play when the weather wasn't great for the beach or when we didn't feel like getting sandy. As others have mentioned, there are times when the elevators aren't enough to handle the traffic. I called those times rush hours - when people are checking out and checking in, and one time when the water park had to close due to storms.

If I could give the stay a zero star, I would. The hotel is not clean at all. Hallways had dirt and debris throughout. In the room, the sheets were very dingy, thin and dirty. We had to go and buy our own sheets because the condition of the sheets that they used to replace the original ones was no better. The bathrooms had hair in them and on the floor, although the housekeeper say they cleaned. Carpets in the room did not appear if they have been vacuumed. The only good thing is that this hotel is located at the beach.

Overall stay was okay. Breakfast was starting to be put away 15 minutes before it actually ended. My room had a faint smell of smoke. There were cigarette burns in the comforter and the duvet was just laying on top. When I requested more towels they left them in a trash bag unfolded on the counter.

Hotel was good and good location but the service I have to be honest we stayed 4 days and we had only 1 time cleaning service last night before checking out ,after so many calls and complaints Hilton is great hotel but cleaning service in this location Homewood suites at Hilton in Myrtle Beach was very poor sorry Hilton this review hopefully will be beneficial

Everything in our room was unplugged, including fridge and microwave. We had to move large pieces of furniture to plug them in. Our bathroom was very dirty and the shower head had no water pressure.

My stay 5-16/5-21, the sofa in room 1916, had nasty spots all over. It seems to me that you all never shampoo the sofa, I thought Hilton cared about the guest, but I see I was in correct. Being a HH Member I thought I could receive a late check out, but it turns out that you all are charging for a late check out; as much money as you all charge one shouldn’t have to endure the nastiness of your sofa bed, you all need to clean them and do something about the wasp that fly around the balcony. They may have a nest up there around the balconies. Food, the first night my husband and I ate at Coconut Charlie, I ordered the “Creamy Chicken Pasta $22, my husband ordered the shrimp tacos, but I contracted food poisoning, I lost a day from eating that food, the breakfast was horrible, the biscuits were burned, the sausage was horrible it look like they just boiled the sausage and brought them out, the muffins were cold hard, no bacon, you all really need to up-grade; do something different for breakfast instead of putting out that disgusting breakfast you all sit out for guest to eat. The cut up fruit looked dirty, no nice presentation. I appreciate the support; this area here needs some help. Horrible It needs some help BAD, I certainly got gravely ill consuming that raggedy CCP. The Sympton.

Nice hotel on the beach but overpriced for what it is. I dont understand how this hotel cost more than Ocean 22 or Ocean enclave. I saw cockroaches on my balcony two out of five nights i was there.

I can tell the room was not cleaned properly. There was dust, food stuck on the chairs at the dining table. Brown stains in the refrigerator, the last people’s shirt still in the closet, hair in the shower, and dirty windows. Beds are like concrete. Valet was ok but it they got bottlenecked quite often. It was so much better when we stayed 3 years ago. Location is great, food options around, walkable area. Probably won’t stay again.

We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, pool/waterpark area, and proximity to beach. The staff was amazing, especially Madeline. The free breakfast was okay, the waffles were a hit for the kids. The room was clean but needs updating. The wifi kept getting disconnected while in my room. When we first arrived the apps on the tv (netflix/youtube) weren't working. Madeline quickly sent someone from maintenance to check on it and he fixed it in minutes since the tv was not connected to the internet. After one day the interent was disconnected again. Overall great stay, will recommend.

Loved the hotel have stayed there before. The shower curtain does not keep the water in the narrow shower. Stops 8” before the bottom and water gets out. My husband stepped out of the shower into water on the floor and fell. Also the hardest beds around!

Nice hotel but terrible beds. I stayed with my sister in her room for several days.The queen beds were hard as rocks. My husband came and we switched to a king and a room for ourselves. The king was a little bit better but still hard and the bedding kept coming off.

Great location. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Cleaning service was nonexistent. Bedding worn out. AC was extremely noisy. Bathroom door would not shut. Constant messages for valet tips (I tipped cash each time).

Shower needed repair and maintenance came immediately. Hair dryer was broken and was replaced immediately. Staff service was excellent. Loved the location. Valet parking is way too chaotic but valets were friendly and very careful with cars. We had great space, frig and microwave, a tub mat, table/desk, wonderful balcony view of the Ferris wheel! Would love to rate it excellent, but needs a few upgrades.

The hotel was nice. Staff were all pleasant. Indoor waterpark was good-One slide of the two were operating; my daughter was so happy! The room smelled like moldy wet carpet. I left the balcony door open just to air it out a bit. Not sure when cleaning crew comes in but there were Trash bins outside so full and still full the next day when I came down. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We dined in at Coconut Charlie's twice (8/3 and 8/7). Both times we had the female bartender as our server. She was rude and very short with us. After each of us ordered she would say NEXT. After taking our drink order, she wiped down the bar for at least 5 minutes and rearranged the bar chairs before getting our drinks. She carried our drinks by holding her fingers around the rims of our cups. When it was time to pay, she stood over me while i put in her tip on the portable credit card machine. I am a server myself so this really bothered me. The rest if the staff was wonderful, especially housekeeping. The location is convenient and there is so much to do within walking distance. The only other complaint i have is the elevators! Allow at least 5 to 10 minutes to get anywhere using the elevator or just take the stairs.

Our stay at Homewood Suites has been okay overall, but there were a number of issues that made it less enjoyable than we had hoped. When we booked through Hotel.com, the room description indicated there would be a dining table, which would have been perfect for our family of four (including two young kids). Only stayed one night but loved the pool/waterpark area, my son had a blast. Beach access was easy and right out side. A few areas of the hotel were run down looking and needed just some cosmetic attention. Beds were comfortable and the room was overall nice. The valet parking was slow. Waited almost 20 minutes just to turn off of the street into the loading area of the hotel. Over all experience was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would look into staying here again if we are coming to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very spacious and ideal for families (2 2 TV’s). The direct beach access was a bonus to the inside pool and water park options. Dining was suitable. Easily walkable down the strip. Quick ride from the airport. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back here again.

Excellent location, solid hotel. The pool facilities were strong, the brunch very good (although on second day there was a half hour plus of no available pastries). The people were very nice. The gym was kinda falling apart -- one piece of cardio equipment not plugged in/no wire, the bench missing a piece to be able to adjust headrest, the resistance machine and barbels more than a bit worn out by salt air. Fooz ball machine also had a broken piece, popular ping pong table could have used a twin. And the need for valet parking added big delays into days (more than 15 minutes each time). The big things are great, but improvements possible on the margins.

From the front desk to the cleaners to the valet to the support crews - We were almost stunned by how rude, unhelpful and downright irritated everybody was. This is not to mention the hotel facilities and room themselves, which were also a huge letdown. The elevators were constantly broken. The pool was disgusting. The doors didn't work properly. The ATM was an absolute joke. Our room had some kind of very stinky orange fungus growing in the shower's corner, the bed sheets didn't come close to fitting, the TV's didn't work properly, so on and so forth. We're pretty laid back people and relatively easy to please - especially on a family trip to which we'd been looking forward for months - yet the experience was SO different from last year and SO uncomfortable that it's certain we'll never return.

We arrived after 8pm, and the valet parking was packed full! The only parking is valet really. You can self-park, but it costs you the same and the lot is almost 3 blocks away, not is the greatest part of town. We were so confused. Check-in was on the 3rd floor, which made it more bizarre. Family's and chaos all around. Not exactly the cleanest place. Maybe need to get rid of the carpet and put in tile with all the moisture.

Great hotel if you travel with family with kids jacuzzi for the adults and kds get the lazy river pool and the slides. They serve good breakfast as well with an ocean view. Beautiful beach view from our balcony and super easy access to the beach! The room was clean and comfy, and the staff was amazing—so friendly and on top of everything. The valet guys were my favorite! Just really nice, down-to-earth guys who opened doors and were total gentlemen. The whole bottom floor is all pools, hot tubs, and water slides, which was honestly the best part. We had such a great stay and will definitely be back!

Our stay at this hotel was mostly positive. The location of the hotel is convenient to the boardwalk and shopping nearby. There are several dining options within walking distance, and shopping/fast food options just 5-10 minutes up the beach. The studio room with kitchenette was nice for our family of 5 and gave us enough space to spread out. The pool area is nice for times when you can't or don't want to be at the beach. Parking was a bit of a headache. The only option they offer is valet parking for $25/night. They move the cars to a parking garage about 2 blocks away. They do not allow guests to access the garage directly, so you have to pay the $25/night. Wait times to get your vehicle when you wanted to go somewhere were sometimes 30 minutes during peak times. The driveway to the property gets congested, so sometimes there was a wait to get in when returning as well. The staff was friendly and there is a process to request your car via phone or text, so that helped some. But the cost is annoying, and not included in the $15/day resort fee they already charge you. So if you bring a vehicle, you are really paying $40/day in fees on top of the room rate and taxes. Lastly, we didn't have the best experience with housekeeping. They just never seemed to make it to our room before we returned for the day. But they did respond quickly to requests for towels, etc. Would stay again, but may check other options with better parking!

The room was clean but needs updating. The wifi kept getting disconnected while in my room. When we first arrived the apps on the tv (netflix/youtube) weren't working. Madeline quickly sent someone from maintenance to check on it and he fixed it in minutes since the tv was not connected to the internet. After one day the interent was disconnected again. Overall great stay, will recommend.

I loved the property. They had happy hour specials & a decent variety of sports on tv at the bar. The food at the restaurant was good & decently priced. The complimentary breakfast was really good. They had many choices hot & cold. The room was nice & the indoor water park was good too. The only thing I did not like was that it’s Valet only & it charges $25 per day per vehicle. It was convenient however I would like a self park option as well. We had 2 cars & stayed 2 nights so $100 for parking was not fun. Then on checkout day they pretty much kick you out of the parking by 12 so if you want to spend time at the beach you have to pay for more parking. But other than that it’s perfect

We waited for quite a while to get our vehicle and then they recommended a $7.00 tip each time you requested your vehicle. The laundry facility was quite expensive $8.00 for a load of laundry and you had to access it via an app. I would expect better from Hilton.

I loved this property! A really cool hotel that has a lovely waterpark with a restaurant and bar in. The only thing in the beginning was the amount of people crowding the elevators during check in/out times. It really isn’t so bad outside of those times. Also my room was supposed to have a bath (because we have three kids) but we had a shower. After being in a car for over ten hours I was ready to call the front desk but my 5 year old told me it was okay and he liked to shower too. It really wasn’t bad at all. I give it a five star because it really was memorable. My family and I had the best time despite some minor inconveniences. The breakfast buffet it great. The first day we got downstairs when it was really crowded and one of the employees helped us find somewhere to sit down. Everything was a close walk or drive away. Valet really wasn’t bad. If anyone is nervous about the valet we had a good experience with it. You just send them a message that you want your vehicle through a text link (you get the link after you check in). There is a ton to do in the area. We went to the magic show and the next morning to the Ripley’s aquarium. I can see us coming back in the future.

Rooms are dated, Carpet is nasty, I Booked Queen beds and they gave me double beds and told me they were Queens( They lied). Won't be back here that's for sure. Parking is Valet $35/day or self park $25/day. Didn't feel comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot even though I did.
