Good little hotel for an overnight visit to London. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed (bathroom a bit more cramped, but good shower). Parking available, and currently outside the ULEZ, then used tube and buses to get around.

I travel for work so naturally stay in hotels. I have also stayed in some guest houses, so my openion is that this property is closer to an average guest house but without a human touch. Below are some but not all of the issues No remote, TV had the visible cables coming and going No bedside charging points One doble socket for charging, one was tempramental. Mattress too soft, I prefer medium or hard Overall, not very comfortable. I have added few pictures . Positive: Free parking included

Rang the bell several times and then had to phone a number to be remotely let in . The room was very dated and in need of some TLC. We slept ok and the bed was comfy enough. The shower trickled and was cold even after letting it run for a good few minutes. It was more like a 1970s bed and breakfast than the elegant boutique hotel it was described as. We had expected it to be better than it was.

Did not give poor review but was disappointed first hotel via Hotels.com which was unmanned arrived late afternoon no answer when rang bell rang nigh phone and was remotely let in and instructed how to get key, never saw anyone during stay got up went to get breakfast 7.45 again not a soul about if detail was on website at least I would’ve been prepared, room fine parking good few cars on but in morning just mine?

We could park all day to attend the Wimbledon championships no problems at all. Room clean but could do with refurbishing. Would call it a guesthouse not a hotel but very good all the same

Clean and comfortable room, walking distance from the train station and High Street. It was only a one night stay and it fulfilled its purpose easily. The bathroom had a very good shower and basin. Suitable parking and wifi. The only negative was that there was only towels for one person and two of us were staying the night.

Disappointed with room which had a musty smell and had not been cleaned properly. ( very dusty ) Also loose tap fitting. Basically the room I stayed in was tired and needed refurbishing.

Everything was broken, from the lamp to the blinds to the shower head. There was no hot water. The property is very tired and run-down. Wide gaps between the window frames and the glass. Fine for a brief trip, but certainly not in winter.

I booked this hotel for two nights and only stayed one. It was not clean or comfortable. Very noisy staff at 7am, no blackout curtains and my mum got a rash. We are not sure what caused it. Just a disappointing horrible experience.

Stayed here last week and on first impression everything was good including free parking which was a big bonus.Rooms are a good size and reasonably well appointed,tube station is approx a 10 minute walk away as is the town proper.Here is where my rating comes from.On Tuesday morning I awoke with several bites on my arms and hands and after doing a little research discovered that they were down to bed bugs.I phoned the off site manager who moved me to a different room on a different floor and when I woke up Wednesday morning I had been repeatedly bitten again.I eventually gave up and tried to sleep in the arm chair fully clothed but this did not work and then I actually saw a bug crawling across the duvet which I photographed.I feel as though I had to leave this review as a warning to other people as no one should have to endure this.

Nobody on reception at check in, had to wait until the cleaner heard the front door to get in, No staff there at all Breakfast advertised but nobody there to cook it Broken toilet seat, shower held together with duct tape Nobody there at check out Not an executive room, a very old very small wooden table and chair, pillows that hard could hardly sleep.

Took nearly 40 minutes to get into the hotel, despite online and confirmation confirming that check in was open until 8pm (I arrived at 6pm) In the end the manager got a resident to let me in and pass me my key. Extremely poor Then hurried out of my room just after 10:30am despite check out not being until 11am! Little things, however they add up

Good place to stay and clean. The staff was very responsive and helpful for our late checking in. We only got 2 towels, but there was 3 of us, so one of us used the hand towel since no one there at the front desk to ask.

Did not give poor review but was disappointed first hotel via Hotels.com which was unmanned arrived late afternoon no answer when rang bell rang nigh phone and was remotely let in and instructed how to get key, never saw anyone during stay got up went to get breakfast 7.45 again not a soul about if detail was on website at least I would’ve been prepared, room fine parking good few cars on but in morning just mine?

Room was ok. Breakfast was very poor. Another guest sent the toast back as it had mould on. Just after we were also served toast with mould. They obviously did not through away the whole loaf that was past its sell by date. I reported this the next morning before we sat down for breakfast. He apologised and offered me a part refund for the breakfast , which I accepted. What he did not do is check the kitchen did not repeat me being served mouldy toast that morning. The coffee was also instant (no filter coffee). Not what I would describe as an "elegant, boutique hotel" as it claimed outside. At £210 + £30 for a double, even in Wimbledon fortnight should include a non-mouldy breakfast and real coffee.

The location of the Wimbledon hotel was convenient to local buses & train/tube station. It’s walkable to Wimbledon tennis and the Village, as well. Housekeeping & management were very helpful & I was accommodated for my late check in due to plane delays. I have stayed at this property 3 times.

This is definitely not a Hotel, but a very tired looking B&B and in desperate need of updating. We were met by the owner in the car park and taken inside, he gave us our room keys and directed us to the 3rd floor. We were very disappointed with The Wimbledon Hotel and our dated room, which was not how any of the pictures looked on the website, had we not be pushed for time we seriously considered going elsewhere for our two night stay. The room was hot and the desk fan (Amazon basic) offered little relief from the heat. Everything was very tired looking the console table worn and marked, old wardrobe with one sliding door. The shower was small with little light from the bulb above and the drain hole was smelly no cap. Only one hook in the bathroom so nowhere to hang our towels, and contrary to the mouldy sign saying to run the shower for 2-3 minutes for warm water it took at least 10 minutes, then another sign said in the interest to save water please re-use towels! We spent as little time in our room as possible and was up bright and early ready to leave, with keys just left in a box as requested in the hallway. On re-looking at the pictures on the website, I have just noticed in the top left side that the pictures of the rooms say they are 10 YEARS OLD!!!!
