Two days ago I was in a hospital for back spasms. The oxi-codon and the back was still at a pain level of four. Checked in to a very clean hotel with polite helpful staff and headed to the whirlpool. I was like a new man!

Great hotel overall! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi, although the water did have a rusty appearance—I’m hoping that was just from well water. This was part of a 4-night trip, and we allowed housekeeping in during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room completely reset and refreshed, and it was reassuring that our valuables were untouched. A very good experience overall.

Nice place the only problem we had was our room had a bad order when we turned on the heat the owner moved us immediately we booked a king bed room but we got switched into a 2 queen room which was no big deal the pool atea was a bit cold but hot tub was great the staff was very nice we will stay there again

Our stay was very quiet. Just walking distance from Wal-mart. We didn't get to go into the pool, maybe next time or the hot tube. There wasnt many people in the pool. Beds comfortable, breakfast good

Rooms seemed recently updated. Bed was comfy just wish they had a few options for pillows. Bathroom was clean with nice shower head and great pressure. Pool was nice and WARM! Not sure if the hot tub surrounding tile was going to be fixed soon but if not it definitely needs it. Pool area was clean. Breakfast was decent but with a sold out hotel nearly all the baked goods (bread muffins etc) were gone by 8:15 and only 1 waffle makers makes for a very large line. Hopefully they can take note of that for next time and be better prepared. Loved that breakfast was included.

We had a pretty bad experience this time at Grandstay. The carpet was very wet in the whole room, the sheets were damp, and there was a splotch of mold on the ceiling. We had to lay all of our towels on the floor to walk on the carpet. We walked barefoot on the carpet at first and our feet were black with dirt from the wet carpet. I don't know how house keeping didn't notice this from cleaning the room before we checked in. Last time we stayed it was a much better experience.

I booked a smoke free room and it was not even close to smoke free. Obviously a lot of people have smoked in this room and it showed and made me nauseous. And I got a stuffed up head and sore throat to boot.

After check in, we went to our room. We ordered a room with two beds. One of the beds looked like someone sat on it. When I folded over the blanket to look at the sheets and to check for bed bugs (because I always checks for bed bugs when staying at hotels), there was sand particles on the sheet! Then I looked at the table near the bed and it had a stain on it, and looked dirty. I went to the front desk, explained what I discovered. She apologized and said she would get us into another room but asked if she could come up and check it out. I agreed and she she came up, checked it out and agreed that the bedding was not changed out, started stripping the bed and apologized. She was real nice and got us into a different room that was nice and clean. We appreciated that she took care of us without any problems.

The front desk lady greeted us with "I need your ID and credit card." No hello how are you. The hallways were dirty and the carpet in our room wasnt vacuumed. We went out for breakfast as the one provided did not look appetizing. Overall not clean and staff not friendly.

From the outside I was a little iffy. As soon as I walked in I was blown away. It smelled so fresh and clean. The gal the checked us in was the NICEST. She was so helpful, kind and friendly. She went out of her way to do anything she could. We had an issue with the tv not working when the night staff was on and he also was VERY helpful and got it fixed. We travel a lot in the summer and the service and hotel stay was by far the best all summer.

Check in was great, the front desk guy was very helpful and came to my room to help get the tv fixed promptly, the room could have been cleaner as i found an old key card envelope and a blistex chapstick next to a bedaide table which i left so hopefully they found it, bed was extremely comfortable. I slept to late for. Reakfast but i will stay again

The breakfast eggs and sausage could be improved greatly by changing out to a scrambled egg or small cheese omelette option and a sausage link rather than the greasy sausage patty. Egg was bland and dry. The rest of the breakfast options were fine.
