False advertised. Associates with Jackpot junction but it's a few miles away. My female companions were concerned about security as the rooms were ground level with weak windows exposed to the street. Advertises indoor pool which was not only out of service there was all sorts of junk and construction debris in the area. The place is in disrepair with the external siding rotting away, everything is very dated, the bed mattress was old and uncomfortable, the blankets were old and smelled old. The pillows were flattened out. The internet was horrible not suited for gaming, the breakfast was poor, and coffee wasn't good. It was a lower priced place but if you are going budget try anything else.

This place is a health hazard. It looks abandoned. It’s filthy. Mold, stains, junk piled in the pool area. We had 2 nights reserved and they refused to cancel and refund our second night despite it being a complete dump. The owner is a slum lord. We left without a refund and stayed elsewhere. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Truly the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen let alone entered. How it’s not condemned truly amazes me! I will be notifying Health officials it was that bad! Walking on the carpet made my white socks look like I walked outside in the dirt. There are truly no words to describe how bad this place is! It absolutely looks like a zombie apocalypse inside and outside of this place. The spider webs in the stairwell were huge! Just do not give this place a dime. It’s unsafe and unsanitary.

location was convenient but needs a whole lot of maintenance and fixing-pool was closed, outside siding was in terrible shape. Room door lock was only held in place by the frame-whole mechanism in the frame was missing. The one person we saw was friendly.

We were 2 of about 6 people in the hotel. The inside of the hotel was OK. The exterior was being renovated, stipped of paint and looked terrible. After a new paint job it should be much better

I'll start wih the bad stuff. The first impression was not good. The exterior is in the midst of being painted, and whomever was doing that work left their tools lying around all weekend. And in looking at another review, they were lying around all week took. there's also weeds in the sidewalk and driveway. But, once inside the impression was better. The lobby looked nice. On the sign outside the hotel it says "Indoor Pool" but the pool was closed for maintenance. Also, the wi-fi did not work and I had to use my phone to get access to the Internet for my computer. Breakfast - they had no one paying attention to it. So when I went they were out of eggs. I would have had to track someone down if I wanted eggs. It's like they put out the food and don't monitor it. Staff was friendly, room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom had a heating lamp which is nice so you don't shiver when you're drying off after a shower. Water pressure was fine.

As we pulled up we didn't even think it was a running hotel. The parkin lot was barely cleared of snow for parking. Vehicles parked right in front just sitting there along with a lawnmower sitting in snow. At check in the staff member was nice and accommodating after asking for a different room. Paint job looked updated and fresh but sheets/bedding was not.

We pulled up and thought we should probably just find somewhere else but we were running late and needed to get to our event. The outside appears in disarray however, I believe they are in transition of ownership and repairs. The air conditioning unit cover was taped on to wall base and did fall off. There were cracks between the window casing and wall where we could see insulation. The window was unlocked at time of check in. The bed was clean, bathroom was clean. The remainder of the room left much to be desired. I wore socks/hubby wore shoes until we climbed into bed, due to carpet appearance. We did check for bedbugs - NONE noted. Bedskirt was stained, end tables were gross - I wiped them down with wet washcloth that turned grey. NO mold in the bathroom which was a plus and it was decent. Parking lot and grass had many discarded beer bottles and garbage lying around. I never did see the Front Desk person throughout our stay. Hubby checked in and he talked to someone. Overall, we got a clean bed/shower/toilet. Not worth what they charged us to have our two small dogs who are well trained in the room ($30 PER dog for one night and they stay in a kennel). The lobby is nice, the remainder of the hotel needs some serious repairs. Won't stay here again and probably will bypass any OYO property in the future.

This was by far one of the worst rooms/hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms were horrible shape, blankets with at least a dozen burns in them (zero exaggeration unfortunately), tears in the blankets. Walls damaged, as well as the furniture, stained sheets, stained box spring covers, dead bugs on one of the beds, floors were filthy, socks turned black just walking in the room, door would not simply close, had to be slammed shut, bathroom had not been cleaned in who knows how long, no cups, no alarm clock, a document on the tv stand that said you could “purchase” items if needed, provided towels were basically dish towels from dollar general and were dirty, hallways looked like they hadn’t been cared for in years, as did the exterior of the building. Sign in desk had a sign that stated it was a smoke free hotel, to include cigarettes and marijuana. The entire bottom floor reaked of marijuana. This is the first time we ever felt like we may need a tetanus shot after leaving. Felt absolutely dirty being in that room. I never leave bad reviews, but this was one of those times that a warning needs to be sent to those looking at this place as a potential stay. I guess if you don’t mind staying somewhere that could be raided as a meth lab, this could be your place. I will never recommend Oyo in Redwood Falls, MN to anyone. Likely never recommend a Oyo anywhere. If I could seek refund for this experience, I would 100%. Grade: F+

This place is absolutely disgusting. From the moment you pull up in the parking lot you see the peeling siding, then you are greeted to the horiffic smell in the lobby elevator and hallways. I arrived to find out my wheelchair acceasible room was given away to someone else after confirming multiple times that it would be available. As we went down the hallway there were many mattresses against the walls. The rigs were stained and everything was filthy. Breakfaat was a joke. I was offered nothing for giving Way the ADA room. No other rooms were available within 60 miles. Couldnt wait to get out of this place.

This has to have been one of the worst places I have ever had the misfortune of booking, and I travel weekly for work. When I arrived, the exterior of the building looked like it had seen better days, but that didn’t concern me too much. Then I walked up to the entrance, and there was food, clearly placed by the hotel, outside the entrance doors being fed upon by wild animals. Definitely a major red flag. When I walked inside, the dilapidated exterior proved to be indicative of the interior with ceiling panels missing, discolored, and falling down. I waited for 5-10 minutes for staff to arrive to check me in but no one arrived. I ended up walking around looking for someone but there was no one on site. I called the number listed online and reached the staff but was told they had no one onsite. Given this level of uncleanliness, unsanitary conditions and lack of staff I decided I couldn’t stay here. I attempted to cancel my hotel and received notification from hotels.com that I would receive a reply shortly. This reply never came and now I find that I’ve not only been billed for the whole stay, but additional unexplained charges were added to the bill. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your comfort, your health, and anything remotely resembling service

This hotel misrepresents itself in photographs online. It looked clean and decent when we booked it, but upon arrival we saw construction debris outside, peeling paint everywhere, people smoking weed outside, stains from water damage, dirty floors and sheets, musty smell covered up with chemicals, lack of lighting or help in the lobby, etc. We were forced to find another hotel nearby as we did not feel safe. The hotel charged us a fee and refused to refund the booking or the fee. HORRIBLE! Later at another hotel we spoke to other people and they had the same experience. Even the people in town are ashamed of it. Book a different hotel in the area if you are going there.

Waited for over five minutes at front desk for someone to appear. We tried to let them know we were there by saying "hello anyone here" with no response. The outside, the paint was peeling. There were holes in the exterior where insulation was showing. I did not even go inside. It looked like the windows hadn't been cleaned in a couple of years. It looked like a rat trap. Hotels.com need to take this down from their site. OYO need to take better control of their franchises. The website pictures look nothing like what reality is.

False advertised. Associates with Jackpot junction but it's a few miles away. My female companions were concerned about security as the rooms were ground level with weak windows exposed to the street. Advertises indoor pool which was not only out of service there was all sorts of junk and construction debris in the area. The place is in disrepair with the external siding rotting away, everything is very dated, the bed mattress was old and uncomfortable, the blankets were old and smelled old. The pillows were flattened out. The internet was horrible not suited for gaming, the breakfast was poor, and coffee wasn't good. It was a lower priced place but if you are going budget try anything else.

We pulled up and thought we should probably just find somewhere else but we were running late and needed to get to our event. The outside appears in disarray however, I believe they are in transition of ownership and repairs. The air conditioning unit cover was taped on to wall base and did fall off. There were cracks between the window casing and wall where we could see insulation. The window was unlocked at time of check in. The bed was clean, bathroom was clean. The remainder of the room left much to be desired. I wore socks/hubby wore shoes until we climbed into bed, due to carpet appearance. We did check for bedbugs - NONE noted. Bedskirt was stained, end tables were gross - I wiped them down with wet washcloth that turned grey. NO mold in the bathroom which was a plus and it was decent. Parking lot and grass had many discarded beer bottles and garbage lying around. I never did see the Front Desk person throughout our stay. Hubby checked in and he talked to someone. Overall, we got a clean bed/shower/toilet. Not worth what they charged us to have our two small dogs who are well trained in the room ($30 PER dog for one night and they stay in a kennel). The lobby is nice, the remainder of the hotel needs some serious repairs. Won't stay here again and probably will bypass any OYO property in the future.

Third World quality. You get what you pay for this day in age. Man at the desk was very friendly and tried to be as helpful as he could. television would not work at all When we got it fixed was very limited on choices of channels. I just wanted to watch Sunday night football and when I finally found the broadcast only choice I had was the Spanish broadcast. With poor reception. Bed did not have any kind of bedspread on it, mirror in room was dirty, fixtures in the bathroom very very old and fungus stained tub. The review that described it is grimy and not safe was fairly accurate. As I stated, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and trying to do as much as he could in fixing the TV, and eventually did get the problem fixed. This was by far one of the worst rooms/hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms were horrible shape, blankets with at least a dozen burns in them (zero exaggeration unfortunately), tears in the blankets. Walls damaged, as well as the furniture, stained sheets, stained box spring covers, dead bugs on one of the beds, floors were filthy, socks turned black just walking in the room, door would not simply close, had to be slammed shut, bathroom had not been cleaned in who knows how long, no cups, no alarm clock, a document on the tv stand that said you could “purchase” items if needed, provided towels were basically dish towels from dollar general and were dirty, hallways looked like they hadn’t been cared for in years, as did the exterior of the building. Sign in desk had a sign that stated it was a smoke free hotel, to include cigarettes and marijuana. The entire bottom floor reaked of marijuana. This is the first time we ever felt like we may need a tetanus shot after leaving. Felt absolutely dirty being in that room. I never leave bad reviews, but this was one of those times that a warning needs to be sent to those looking at this place as a potential stay. I guess if you don’t mind staying somewhere that could be raided as a meth lab, this could be your place. I will never recommend Oyo in Redwood Falls, MN to anyone. Likely never recommend a Oyo anywhere. If I could seek refund for this experience, I would 100%. Grade: F+

The place is old and run down , there were people drinking and doing drugs in the parking lot . We were in our room about 8pm when there were 2 men fighting outside our window on the first floor and slamming each other off the window in our room. The door to our room didn't shut properly so you had to pull it to make sure it locked. Don't bring your kids to this hotel it's not safe.

I'll start wih the bad stuff. The first impression was not good. The exterior is in the midst of being painted, and whomever was doing that work left their tools lying around all weekend. And in looking at another review, they were lying around all week took. there's also weeds in the sidewalk and driveway. But, once inside the impression was better. The lobby looked nice. On the sign outside the hotel it says "Indoor Pool" but the pool was closed for maintenance. Also, the wi-fi did not work and I had to use my phone to get access to the Internet for my computer. Breakfast - they had no one paying attention to it. So when I went they were out of eggs. I would have had to track someone down if I wanted eggs. It's like they put out the food and don't monitor it. Staff was friendly, room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom had a heating lamp which is nice so you don't shiver when you're drying off after a shower. Water pressure was fine.

This was a trip for my Daughter’s wrestling sections. First I wanna say customer service was great. When we arrived our wait time was less than 5 mins. They overbooked so we didn’t get the doubled bed room we booked. Other guest were having issues with their room keys. The clerk had to stop helping us with check-in to attend to that issue. We chose this hotel because it advertised a pool/game room however at check-in we were told that there was no pool. This was very disappointing as we were traveling with 3 kids that were excited about swimming. The room was honestly ran down. It felt dirty! If this hotel was wasn’t 3 hours away from home and my daughter didn’t have another round of sections the next day we would have left that night. There was stains all over the pull out couch cushions. The pull out bed I kid you not looked like it was borrowed from the 60’s. There were old cake wrappers stuffed inside. One of our room keys didn’t work as well. I was really disappointed, we had it booked for 2 nights but checked out the next day. Probably one of my top 3 bad experiences with a hotel/airbnb stay.

When I arrived, the exterior of the building looked like it had seen better days, but that didn’t concern me too much. Then I walked up to the entrance, and there was food, clearly placed by the hotel, outside the entrance doors being fed upon by wild animals. Definitely a major red flag. When I walked inside, the dilapidated exterior proved to be indicative of the interior with ceiling panels missing, discolored, and falling down. I waited for 5-10 minutes for staff to arrive to check me in but no one arrived. I ended up walking around looking for someone but there was no one on site. I called the number listed online and reached the staff but was told they had no one onsite. Given this level of uncleanliness, unsanitary conditions and lack of staff I decided I couldn’t stay here. I attempted to cancel my hotel and received notification from hotels.com that I would receive a reply shortly. This reply never came and now I find that I’ve not only been billed for the whole stay, but additional unexplained charges were added to the bill. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your comfort, your health, and anything remotely resembling service

This is a two part review. Our room was what we needed. It was clean and had all the necessities for our one night stay. The bedding wasn’t fancy but served it’s purpose. The checkin was smooth. They had stepped away from the counter, but left a number to call and the gentleman was right down. He was friendly and professional. So in both respects this was good. Now the other part: The building is quite dilapidated. The paint is peeling everywhere and there were numerous holes in some of the boards. The sign and the condition on the building made it seem like it was abandoned. There were a few cars out front so I knew that was not the case. The entry was cluttered and very uninviting. There were a few broken tiles just past the desk and the carpet in the halls is quite outdated and stained. They had air fresheners in the outlets, which I had never seen before in any of my stays at other hotels. So to recap: One one hand the room was quite clean and adequate and the staff was great, but on the other hand the building needs work and the clutter all around plus the peeling paint makes it look dodgy.

It started waiting for two customers ahead of me, who were told they could not find their online reservations and were offered rooms at a higher rate. They made it a trifecta with me, saying my reservation had been cancelled because I did not pay ahead of time (paying at check-in was an option I chose). Anyway, we have a room because someone else had cancelled, and by the way, it would be at a much higher rate. Running a racket!

The breakfast offerings were expired. I had to wait 10 minutes when I was checking in to get a staff to the front desk. And then she was on the phone and they processed it over the phone and the lady had no idea what was going on. It really kind of weirded me out.

Stay away from this place. You have to call someone to come over to get to the front desk, if they even answer. Then they tell me, after pre-paying for the room and tax, they want to charge me another tax "that Expedia does not know". What kind of scam is this?!?!

Although it's certainly not The Ritz, it did the job for the one night we had to stay in the area, and we couldnt beat the price! The front desk gentleman was very nice and accommodating, the room was clean and they had a shuttle going to and from the casino for the concert. We stayed Thurs. night through Fri. morning and they had a decent continental breakfast available.

I can’t believe Expedia allows this hotel into their network. My family and I arrived and instantly knew we could not stay here due to the smell of marijuana and the fact that their was recliners by the front doors and dudes hanging told us not a family friendly place!

False advertised. Associates with Jackpot junction but it's a few miles away. My female companions were concerned about security as the rooms were ground level with weak windows exposed to the street. Advertises indoor pool which was not only out of service there was all sorts of junk and construction debris in the area. The place is in disrepair with the external siding rotting away, everything is very dated, the bed mattress was old and uncomfortable, the blankets were old and smelled old. The pillows were flattened out. The internet was horrible not suited for gaming, the breakfast was poor, and coffee wasn't good. It was a lower priced place but if you are going budget try anything else.

Although it's certainly not The Ritz, it did the job for the one night we had to stay in the area, and we couldnt beat the price! The front desk gentleman was very nice and accommodating, the room was clean and they had a shuttle going to and from the casino for the concert. We stayed Thurs. night through Fri. morning and they had a decent continental breakfast available.

The breakfast offerings were expired. I had to wait 10 minutes when I was checking in to get a staff to the front desk. And then she was on the phone and they processed it over the phone and the lady had no idea what was going on. It really kind of weirded me out.

This hotel needs some work. Pool not operational. No desk attendant to speak with just a phone number to call. No breakfast the next morning even though clearly stated Still charged a resort fee for what I do not know.

I'll start wih the bad stuff. The first impression was not good. The exterior is in the midst of being painted, and whomever was doing that work left their tools lying around all weekend. And in looking at another review, they were lying around all week took. there's also weeds in the sidewalk and driveway. But, once inside the impression was better. The lobby looked nice. On the sign outside the hotel it says "Indoor Pool" but the pool was closed for maintenance. Also, the wi-fi did not work and I had to use my phone to get access to the Internet for my computer. Breakfast - they had no one paying attention to it. So when I went they were out of eggs. I would have had to track someone down if I wanted eggs. It's like they put out the food and don't monitor it. Staff was friendly, room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom had a heating lamp which is nice so you don't shiver when you're drying off after a shower. Water pressure was fine.

There is never anyone at the front desk. Wifi works part of the time. The outside of the hotel is in major need of repair. Not even a hot pot of coffee in the morning. No one at the desk when I and other guests checked out at 7:30 this morning

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room was in terrible condition and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned or maintained in a long time. There was visible dirt, damaged furniture, stains, and an overall feeling of neglect. It was far below the standard I expect from any hotel. The condition of the room made it difficult to relax or feel comfortable. Basic upkeep appeared to have been ignored, and it was clear that maintenance and housekeeping were not a priority. For the price I paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone unless significant improvements are made to the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall condition of the rooms.

The property is not at all like the pictures. First impression was awful moldy exterior and the carport is falling in. Arrived after hours and the phone number provided for checking in didn't ring but also didn't have a prompt like disconnected so we couldn't even check in. Had to drive an extra hour then try to sleep in the hot car. Lobby smelled disgusting and the signs at the front desk claimed they are renovating. I wonder when they plan to start and why they would bother. The whole property is so disgusting it should be demolished. Do not attempt to stay here!!

Under construction I understand but this building looks like it’s falling apart, wasn’t made aware of the condition of the hotel beforehand and it seemed like an inconvenience to honor our reservation for rooms with two beds. And amenities listed on the website like on site laundry facilities were not available and the breakfast was sparse. Towels and bedding were threadbare and stained, felt like staying in a cheap seedy hotel. For the price we paid I expected a lot better. Ridiculously overpriced. I stayed in much better places recently for half the price and also in small towns nearby.
