In the beach, free sun beds is difficult to find sometimes. The hotel staff is very friendly.

The resort ran out of water they only had sparkling water which kids don’t drink Also they ran out of towels for the beach but the water was most ridiculous

This is a great resort to relax and have a very fun experience. I am a little puzzled why the pool closes at 6:30pm, but otherwise the facilities were nice and accessible.

This is a beautiful hotel, almost brand new, with a lovely design aesthetic all cream and curves which I suspect is the Isla Brown 'look'. It had the best lighting we've ever seen in Greece, lots of it recessive, low and inviting. We were upgraded to an executive suite which had a side sea view and was very nice if an odd shape with 2 large tvs. The basic rooms are very small so it's worth paying more for a larger one. There were lots of very comfy sunbeds and bean bags on beach and around pool and low-key chill out music in common areas. There was also a good gym overlooking the sea. The fantastic buffet breakfast had an incredible amount of choice and excellent quality and was probably the best we've ever seen. Literally everything was there including six different types of milk! The clientele was international and young - we wondered if it predominantly catered for package tours. It was very quiet in the evening so we've no idea where everyone went as there are only a few tavernas within walking distance. The Staff is attentive and charming. Negatives - very hard bed gave me backache

Having read the negative reviews after we booked, we were concerned what we would experience. So, this review focuses on some aspects criticised in other reviews. Breakfast: the most splendid buffet with a vast array of fresh, hot and cold choices and long opening time during which to enjoy. The restaurant gets busy but every morning we secured a table that enabled us to enjoy the beautiful sea view. So, unless the hotel has made recent changes to their breakfast offering, negative comments from other reviewers are baffling. Parking: ample free hotel parking, so negative comments from other reviewers appear unwarranted. Noise: lots of negative comments in other reviews and we experienced the reasons firsthand. This can be a party town with music pumping out of passing cars and the 2 open air clubs close to the hotel. On our first night, a public holiday, the music was blaring through the night until about 5:00am and then from the hotel’s poolside bar from just after 6:00am, resulting in my partner not getting a wink of sleep. Thankfully, this wasn’t repeated on any of the following 4 nights of our stay. Service: good in the restaurant and inside bar but woefully understaffed by the pool. The experience was good but doesn’t tick enough boxes to be considered 5-star. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t rush to return.

Bel hôtel mais nous avons séjourné sur la dernière semaine de la saison. Aucun service, petit déjeuner de moins en moins fourni au cours de la semaine et de qualité moyenne, plus de transat à la plage à la fin du séjour, bars et rooftop fermé. A mon sens soit vous attendez que les clients quittent l’hôtel soit vous le fermez plus tôt….

Loved our stay at Isla Brown on our route to explore the Peloponnese. Staff were all very friendly and helpful with excellent service - especially from George and the catering team. Beautiful hotel, great location with pool/beach close by and a lots of local restaurants to explore. Would recommend.

The room was exceptional, staff couldn't do enough to help. The breakfasts were incredible. And the pool was salt water so no horrible chlorine smell. There were also lots of options to choose from at the beach. One of the loveliest hotels I've stayed in. We would definitely come back again.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel at All Costs! We recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. We booked two sea view rooms but received partial sea views, yet we were charged for unobstructed views. The balconies were tiny and the screen doors were broken in both rooms. All the soap dispensers were empty, and when we asked for replacements, the staff provided tiny bars of soap. Despite the hotel not being busy, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to receive our snack order. The rooftop bar and restaurant were both closed. The beach was full of stones, making it impossible to walk barefoot. A family member paid much less for a suite much bigger than our rooms but also had no soap. We booked for four nights but complained immediately. The hotel claimed they were sold out and couldn't change our rooms, despite online availability showing otherwise. Expedia confirmed we would be charged for only one night plus a one-night penalty, with the remaining balance refunded. However, the hotel refused to refund any money upon checkout. We requested to meet the General Manager at 9:30 AM, but she never showed up despite us waiting until 1:30 PM. It was clear the staff were communicating with her over the phone, yet she still refused to meet us. One room even had a welcome message for someone else, indicating it wasn't properly cleaned before our arrival. This level of negligence is unacceptable. This hotel is worrst hotel I have seen

The property may be relatively new, but it is poorly managed and the service overall is inadequate for the price range and expectations. Housekeeping is just unacceptable and the staff seem to be inexperienced and unable to cope. Waiters at the restaurant are very slow to respond, even if the request is just the menu!

leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt in Ihrem Hotel in keiner Weise unseren Erwartungen. Wir möchten einige Punkte ansprechen, die unseren Aufenthalt sehr negativ beeinflusst haben: 1. Zimmerzuweisung: Obwohl wir ein normales Dreibettzimmer gebucht hatten, erhielten wir ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer, das wir weder angefragt noch benötigt hatten. 2. Sauberkeit: Der Boden im Zimmer war schmutzig, das Waschbecken wackelte, und in der Dusche fehlte ein Vorhang, sodass das ganze Badezimmer nach dem Duschen unter Wasser stand. Zudem war der Wasserabfluss auf dem Boden unzureichend. 3. Zustand des Zimmers: In den Zimmern waren kaum brauchbare Utensilien vorhanden – stattdessen fanden wir Müll vor. Eine gründliche Reinigung hatte offensichtlich nicht stattgefunden. 4. Personal: Das Personal war nicht besonders freundlich oder hilfsbereit. 5. Verpflegung: Auch das Essen konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Wir hatten uns auf einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gefreut und waren sehr enttäuscht über die genannten Mängel. Wir bitten Sie, diese Kritik ernst zu nehmen und hoffen auf eine Stellungnahme oder gegebenenfalls eine teilweise Rückerstattung.

Cleanliness was terrible! There was a poo over the toilet, there only two Jacuzzis in the rooftop and the both of them were very very dirty. Food was good, pool was nice.

Das Hotel hat vor 1 Monat eröffnet. Es ist eine wunderschöne, moderne Anlage mit außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal und perfektem Service. Das Zimmer war wunderbar, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit tollem Bad und schönen Blick auf das Meer. Das Frühstücksbuffet, das bis 12:00h mittags geöffnet ist, ließ keine Wünsche offen. Habe noch nicht oft ein so großes und köstliches Angebot an Frühstücksbüffet gesehen.

Pour le reste, insonorisation catastrophique (musique du lobby à fond de 9h à minuit et d’une discothèque tout le we) Couloirs sales Ménage quotidien qui n’en n’est pas un (fourniture de serviettes et fermeture du lit!) Buffet quasi identique à chaque repas L’obtention d’un transat est un vrai sport !! Tous sont complets (ou plutôt réservés par une serviette posée) des 9h ! La réception du wifi dans les chambres est catastrophique. Obligé de descendre dans le hall pour avoir un débit correct. Un point positif : le personnel sympathique Nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement à ceux qui souhaitent passer des vacances tranquilles !

Thank you Isla Brown for a wonderful stay this July. We had a Family Suite on the 7th floor with great view of the entire bay. The hotel is brand new and super stylish. We loved the comfort of the room and enjoyed all the facilities within the hotel. The rooftop bar with the water flooring and reclining chairs is amazing for watching the sunset each night! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner buffets are so delicious and plentiful. The beach, pool and garden bar are all easily accessible and seconds away once you leave the hotel entrance. If you’re looking for a getaway from Athens or somewhere peaceful yet fun for families an hour away from Athens then Isla Brown is pure perfection. I am so happy we booked and we will definitely return. Thank you to Marilou, Mariannetta, Yiorgos, Kyriacos, Silvana, room service, bar team, and all staff who work so so hard all day to make everyone happy!!

Uniques and cleanliness.

A pure gem! Cannot describe enough the elegance, the cleanliness the view the property amenities! 5 star hotel one of the best in Greece! A top notch property! the breakfast was stunning amazing variety and quality! the staff so polite! so sad I could not stay more! will visit though at my earliest convenience! it's a MUST visit hotel!

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Die Anlage hat uns begeistert, besonders die Sauberkeit und die freundliche Atmosphäre. Ohne Transfer ist es allerdings nur per Uber vom Flughafen erreichbar, was man vorab wissen sollte. Wir hatten All Inclusive gebucht. Der Service am Strand war hervorragend, besonders Ionna und Giorgos haben mit ihrer herzlichen Art und Aufmerksamkeit unseren Aufenthalt bereichert. Auch die Strandbar war im All Inclusive enthalten, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Etwas überraschend war jedoch, dass der Rooftop-Bereich nicht dazugehörte. Einziger Wermutstropfen war das Essen in der Kantine: Häufig verkocht und geschmacklich leider nicht überzeugend. Schade, denn ohne diesen Punkt wäre unser Urlaub perfekt gewesen.

The floor and walls were dirty. Its not worthy for the price i paid

We have ordered a room for 3 adults, and payed accordingly, but we got a room with one double bed, and a small and very hard sofa bed witch is not suitable for an adult. After one night in the room, it was impossible to sleep on the sofa, half the night I was awake and could not sleep.

The staff was very accommodating. The suite was very spacious and had a microwave and a fridge and 2 bathrooms. The buffet was good. Pool area was nice. Great little resort close to Athens.

The hotel is a great design and has all you need, however our room for 4 it was more for 3 persons (a bit tight) I a week we never got our fridge replenished, therefore not even water, they did change the towels but that's about it! They probably need to put on each terrace/bedroom something to hang your wet clothes/towels as some people will hang them on the terrace and doesn't looks good. I think they need more personnel as specially on the pool/beach area

Loved the hotel and location, while the staff were very friendly. Having the Mediterranean a step away from the pool was fantastic. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well equipped, with good-sized balconies and great views. We had half-board and the buffet food options were generally very good, while lunch options from the bar menu were fine. This wasn't our 'standard' family trip (we tend to be active and explore city sights) but we were quite happy relaxing around the pool. A few small points to note: - Vegetarian buffet options were quite limited (other than salads etc) - Our King room included a sofa bed for two teenagers, which was a bit uncomfortable (and the bedding didn't quite fit). We had thought we'd have twin beds - More attempts to make the hotel eco-friendly and sustainable would be good, with recycling and reusable water bottles etc.

The Isla Brown was an incredible hotel, we were quite worried by some of the reviews but when we arrived we were greeted and treated like royalty. The hotel staff always went above and beyond on every aspect aiming to help you to their maximum ability. We stayed at the property for 7 nights and each day there was a new variety of food in the buffet. We were worried about having to eat at the buffet for 7 days but this was overcome by the sheer choice available. It was a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Athens too, with a great connection to the western parts of the mainland.

Staff are amazing, trying to ensure our stay is awesome. Greeted with Champagne at check in, extended our stay and staff went above and beyond to make it easy. Beautiful modern resort in quiet bay! Best location out of our 2 week travels around Greece.

Beatufil grounds, beautiful rooftop bar and pool. The view from our room is amazing. Some staff are great and some are not. Big selection of breakfast buffet but the bread are very stale. My omelette is very good. I made the booking for 2 rooms with my credit card for 3 nights. They charged my credit card for all 3 nights x 2 rooms before our arrival. And the receptionist will not separate our bill, telling us it is the policy - whoever made the booking has to pay for all the rooms. The next day, another receptionist reversed the charges without any problem. And they gave us a bottle of wine as an apology. We appreciate the gesture.

The property itself is very nice. And the breakfast buffet & dinner was great. However the service at the front desk put a little bit of a downer on our stay. We had requested the sofa bed to be made, from when we checked in. The response we got from the front desk was yes soon. We reminded them when we went to dinner and called a few times before. At our disappointment at 10 o’clock when we came back to the room the bed was still not made and there were no sheets or extra pillows in the room. They finally came after 5 hours from checkin. When we checked out, no one helped us to the parking lot where they initially valeted parked our car, we walked to the car ourselves that was a little bit across the street from the hotel. The facilities are nice the service could be very much improved.

Incredible property! I would 1000% stay here again. Terrific value for your money. Staff extremely friendly (you will notice a difference immediately) We loved our stay here and consider the best hotel choice we made on our 10 day European trip. Highly Recommend

Lovely hotel, grounds and pool. Right next to the beach. We were lucky to be there off peak. I can imagine it might get very busy in peak season/at weekends. Town is limited and tired/run down. But one or two genuine low key Greek restaurants, all overlooking the sea.

Hôtel très bruyant en Aout: une rue principale passe devant l’hôtel ( défilé non stop de motos, voitures musique à fond, bennes à ordures et récup verres vidés à 5h30 du matin, baies vitrées de la chambre mal insonorisées avec des familles qui hurlent dès 7h le matin) . Discothèque à coté de l’hôtel , musique à fond d'une plage privée à coté de l’hôtel.La Suite vue mer est en fait une vue partielle sur la mer car c'est soit vue sur piscine et discothèque soit vue sur une quartier défriché . Ascenseurs souvent en panne. Pas de parking dans l'hôtel ni voiturier. Vous garez votre voiture de location dans la rue ou sur parking public en terre en face de l’hôtel . Un manque criant de civilité en Aout des touristes tout permis qui se lâchent aux buffets , dans la piscine et qui ne respectent ni le personnel ni l’établissement. Aucun respect. Le personnel ( ménage, serveurs ) est serviable et fait ce qu'il peut fasse à cette clientèle qui a no limit !!! L' Architecture du bâtiment est splendide, plage très agréable. Les repas ( petit déjeuner, snack bar et repas du soir) au buffet sont très corrects et très bons.Un roof top magnifique. Il y a encore beaucoup de choses à reprendre de la part de la direction .

Very nice place not far from Athens. Perfect for an in between stay for a few nights. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We cannot fault this hotel for its staff and room and beach front location. If I had two criticisms one would be ( and this is not something the hotel can fix) is the surrounding area is a bit of a dump lots of derelict unfinished buildings and wasteland filled with fly tipping. The local village is very basic and a bit neglected. If you dont have a car you will be stuck. The other criticism was the quality of the cooked items at breakfast. Overall we would stay again.

Nice new, well designed property with excellent staff and massive breakfast buffet available until noon…

Loved the hotel and location, while the staff were very friendly. Having the Mediterranean a step away from the pool was fantastic. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well equipped, with good-sized balconies and great views. We had half-board and the buffet food options were generally very good, while lunch options from the bar menu were fine. This wasn't our 'standard' family trip (we tend to be active and explore city sights) but we were quite happy relaxing around the pool. A few small points to note: - Vegetarian buffet options were quite limited (other than salads etc) - Our King room included a sofa bed for two teenagers, which was a bit uncomfortable (and the bedding didn't quite fit). We had thought we'd have twin beds - More attempts to make the hotel eco-friendly and sustainable would be good, with recycling and reusable water bottles etc.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Die Anlage hat uns begeistert, besonders die Sauberkeit und die freundliche Atmosphäre. Ohne Transfer ist es allerdings nur per Uber vom Flughafen erreichbar, was man vorab wissen sollte. Wir hatten All Inclusive gebucht. Der Service am Strand war hervorragend, besonders Ionna und Giorgos haben mit ihrer herzlichen Art und Aufmerksamkeit unseren Aufenthalt bereichert. Auch die Strandbar war im All Inclusive enthalten, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Etwas überraschend war jedoch, dass der Rooftop-Bereich nicht dazugehörte. Einziger Wermutstropfen war das Essen in der Kantine: Häufig verkocht und geschmacklich leider nicht überzeugend. Schade, denn ohne diesen Punkt wäre unser Urlaub perfekt gewesen.

We cannot fault this hotel for its staff and room and beach front location. If I had two criticisms one would be ( and this is not something the hotel can fix) is the surrounding area is a bit of a dump lots of derelict unfinished buildings and wasteland filled with fly tipping. The local village is very basic and a bit neglected. If you dont have a car you will be stuck. The other criticism was the quality of the cooked items at breakfast. Overall we would stay again.
