The staff provided excellent friendly service. The room was very pleasant. I would liked to have had a microwave would be my only other option. Everything in the room was way above normal standards. I liked that netflix and prime were available to hook up to the TV. Having a back door to the parking lot was an upgrade also. Overall, very happy with our stay, highly recommend!

The hotel is nice for the area, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the decor is perfect for gold country. The pool area is large and relaxing. The hotel itself is unique but it sits in a cute little area of restaurants and boutique shops that are fun to browse. We had outstanding food and drinks at a couple of places. Likewise, breakfast was great. Nice stopover or a good destination for a quite weekend in gold country. Everything there closes somewhat early, so plan accordingly if you are arriving late in the day.

We had to cancel our reservation the day before due to family care conflict. We were devastated but figured our plans were shot. Long story short we were able to proceed with our concert and although we canceled within the 24hr window, the Gateway hotel refunded us our original canceled reservation, booked us another room with no hassle at all. Our first time staying here and from setting, to staff and room everything was top notch and clean/ inviting. The pool area/ jacuzzi were very nice and quiet. How the staff and property worked with us last minute was exceptional and much appreciated. My wife and I will 1000% be back, do yourself a favor and check out this Hotel and the surrounding shops. You won’t be disappointed!

I loved the hotel. The rooms were very cute and cozy. A previous guest had a kid or pet urinate on the left side of the bed and I noticed it as soon as I went to bed. I had to sleep on the other side to avoid the smell.

The staff was awesome, and the accommodations are top-notch. I look forward to my next trip to Copper Valley. Plus, I encourage everyone to get pizza at the Gold Mine Pizza pallor. Definitely the best pizza in the area, nice try Round Table and Pizza Factory, not even close.
