Location was great, modern and clean, tastefully furnished, attention to detail/ kind gestures like quality chocolate, local coffee etc. Essentials for daily life were provided. Had a very good stay at BOB W. The hotel has a good location, the rooms and facilities are spaceous and modern. you get access to a local gym for free, just 2minutes away, and there is a grocery store open 24h in the same building. Easily walkable to any part of the city, but the tram also goes right outside. Just be aware that you should receive your personal login code by email in advance (no reception). Hotels.com did not forward this correctly to us, so had a bit of a stressful situation. It was sorted eventually, but reach out to BOB W a few days before if you dont receive your code per email. Will definitely stay at BOB W again, whether it be in Helsinki or elsewhere

This is the best accomodation I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect , the inclusions were amazing, they have thought of everything. Our room had an amazing sauna too. Restaurant and supermarket in the building was a huge plus. Viking ferry to Tallin a few minutes walk away, tram stop to everywhere was out the front.. Would give it more stars if I could

Flott og godt utstyrt leilighet med bra beliggenhet. Nært sentrum og severdigheter, og trikk rett utenfor døra. God restaurant i 1.etasje, samt dagligvarerbutikk som var åpen hele døgnet. Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet.

This is a great place to stay. It is spacious and has all the amenities in the room. The place is located at the doorstep of the tram step, super convenient to navigate around. The 24 hour supermarket located downstairs is a must in the snowy weather, so you don’t even need to get changed to get simple groceries. The food choices are great too. We’ve used breakfast cafe next door, pizza shop downstairs and sushi shop downstairs, all fantastic. Great stay, highly recommended.

Apartment was excellent really convenient location. Tram stop right outside, 24/7 supermarket in the building. Only negative was Luggage storage room was not labelled but some other tourists told showed us that the code worked on a “staff only” room next to main entrance which was the luggage room, otherwise we would not have found it. Had to contact Bob W to get check in ref as hotels.com ref did not work, however communication was prompt and advance check in easy.

The property is clean, large and everything is easy to reach. We felt comfortable in the room. Unfortunately the toilet was stuck when we arrived and it took some time until someone came to fix it. I would prefer to have a reception as well.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The building was lovely and in a great location. It is within walking distance of the ferries, railway station and city centre and there is asi a tram stop right outside the building. We felt frustrated at the lack of information within the apartment itself, for example how to use the appliances and disposal of rubbish. The air conditioning wasn’t working either which made for an uncomfortable stay during the Finnish heatwave! But despite these things we’d definitely stay again next time we go to Helsinki.

Stylish and functional apartment suites. Close proximity to the Market Square and the cathedral. Tram stop right outside the entrance. Easy check in and check out. The room was clean, spacious and amazingly designed. Bed was super comfortable. Very helpful to have a kitchen space and a washer/dryer. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend staying here during your stay in Helsinki! Will definitely be booking a Bob W location again.

Great location right next to the tram stop, very convenient for getting around. The studio is spacious for two people and comes with excellent amenities. I did have some trouble contacting the hotel via Expedia, as the messaging function didn’t seem to work, but I was able to reach them on WhatsApp eventually. They were very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp.

On the positive side: easy check-in/out thanks to the digital app. Well equipped room with a nice design. On the negative side: - it is noisy. The sound proofing is not very good. You hear the trams every 5 minutes. - the bed is not very comfortable. - the breakfast at the Turkish place downstairs (one of their two partners) is very low quality (and very low quantity, but anwyay, you don't want more of it :-))

I stayed in 2 types of room: standard studio & family style (when my friend was with me) - I prefer the family style the best bc it’s more spacious. My furnace wasn’t working in the standard studio so had to ask for a portable heater which wasn’t avail til 3rd night. Nonetheless the kitchen and apt style is very conevenient and in the ground floor is a 24 hour grocery store. Within building is a pizzeria and sushi restaurant. Walking distance to cathedral and sky wheel (or train stops up front) … Mattress is comfy but wish there was a foam pillow option. But they think of everything including yoga mats in school. If you book here don’t forget to log out of your Apps/Subscritions - which every person seemed to forget to do

This place was wonderful. It was easy to get to, easy to find, and easy to get in. The room was nice, clean, and had plenty of amenities. The towel racks were heated, along with the floors in the bathroom, adding to a wonderful experience. The furniture was really comfortable and the plugs were so perfectly placed!! They also provided a converter for one plug and a camera that can be used to take pictures. The only challenge we had was the height differences in the doorways. It wasn’t significant but with our medical issues, It did make it a bit challenging to get our baggage through at times. However, it is definitely a place I’d book again! There’s also a cathedral up the street that looks beautiful at night along with the Ferris wheel that isn’t far from the cathedral.

En términos generales todo estuvo excelente; el departamento es perfecto, limpio, silencioso, muy bien ubicado, cómodo. El único problema fué que al llegar tuvimos muchos problemas para acceder, las indicaciones fueron incompletas, y nunca hubo nadie en recepción que resolviera dudas, de hecho durante los 4 días que estuvimos no hubo interacción con ningún empleado.

Had a bit of a frustrating experience getting access to the property and room. There’s no front desk and I had trouble getting the door access codes. I had to use their chat/WhatsApp to get help. They responded within a few minutes to the chat and then everything worked fine but not a great way to start the stay. The actual room was very comfy and nice. Location is close to the eastern ferry terminal with a tram line right out front to get anywhere in town. Really great neighbourhood vibes and the 24h grocery store downstairs was very convenient.

The room smelled strongly of paint and no windows would open. It gave my wife a headache. We tried to open the door to the garage and use fans to air it out. It didn’t work after a few hours. Two other rooms were offered but we never got correct codes for them and the entire floor smelled of marijuana. There was no one to help after 4pm. Bob was extremely slow to answer texts and did not answer the phone…ever. Not a good place for a family. We did not stay at the property and left after wasting half a day of vacation. Bob doesn’t want to give a refund. This was not a cancellation. It was an unacceptable accommodation. Don’t stay there.

Small apartment but it was well equipped and comfortable. Communication was good but found it a little daunting having to negotiate app for check in etc. however the concierge who was there during the week was extremely helpful and very obliging. But, no real life services... no front desk, no room ssrvices, no hotel lobby, staff, or restaraunt. The checkin and checkout was all electronic with no staff involved... luckily it worked, but i was very nervous that i wouldn't receive the access codes in time and there would be no help available.

Bob W KOTI Katajanokka was absolutely brilliant. We booked it as it was so close to the Viking Port (6min walk!) but we didn't realise just how easy a walk it also was to the main part of the city. The studio was amazing- well furnished with loads of brilliant touches (a free Bob W canvas bag, access to a polaroid camera and loads more). We actually decided to cut our evening out short so we could go and hang in the apartment- it was that great!

The location, size of the apartment, cleanliness and communication all exceeded our group of 11's expectations. Being near the water and the tram was perfect! The building was very secure. Loved the rooftop bar and went there every night! Used the grocery in the building several times. Just perfect!

I did like the large rooms with an excellent bathroom. Note what all communication with the hotel is online, but it is easy to learn and works fine. The place is absolutely recommendable. The kitchen is fully equipped for even a long term stay. There is a washer/dryer in the unit. Easy and secure accces to the unit and building. Close cafes and grocery stores nearby. Tram passes close by which can be used to get to the central area of Helsinki.

On the positive side: easy check-in/out thanks to the digital app. Well equipped room with a nice design. On the negative side: - it is noisy. The sound proofing is not very good. You hear the trams every 5 minutes. - the bed is not very comfortable. - the breakfast at the Turkish place downstairs (one of their two partners) is very low quality (and very low quantity, but anwyay, you don't want more of it :-))

What an amazing 5 days i had in this self catering room. The supermarket was around the corner, the room had everything i wanted to cook. The standards were so high, the communication through whatsapp was efficient. This place is only 5min walk to the central. I highly recommend this place. This is the best accomodation I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect , the inclusions were amazing, they have thought of everything. Our room had an amazing sauna too. This is a great place to stay. It is spacious and has all the amenities in the room. The place is located at the doorstep of the tram step, super convenient to navigate around. The 24 hour supermarket located downstairs is a must in the snowy weather, so you don’t even need to get changed to get simple groceries. The food choices are great too. We’ve used breakfast cafe next door, pizza shop downstairs and sushi shop downstairs, all fantastic. Great stay, highly recommended.
