I enjoyed my 3 night weekend stay very much and am happy I took a friend’s recommendation to stay at Clarion during my time in Helsinki. I appreciated the later breakfast times finishing at 11:00AM and the facilities (scenic rooftop sauna and pool) on offer. However, during my last morning before checking out I went up to the spa area at 11:00AM to use the facilities but was told after only just entering the pool by staff that the area was closing for maintenance until 15:00. I appreciate this is a necessary requirement, but I would suggest changing the maintenance times a bit later to allow guests to have the full morning to use the facilities.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Wasser. Straßenbahn direkt vor der Haustür. Innenstadt erreichbar in 10 Minuten. Perfekte Lage auch für die Benutzung einer Fähre nach Tallinn. Zimmer modern. Bademantel und Slipper kosten je nach Buchung 15 Euro Gebühr was definitiv zu viel ist. Frühstück fantastisch. Skybar sehenswert. Es gibt nur Glasaufzüge im Hotel.

Das Hotel ist riesig. Wenn man möchte kann man sich vor Ort an einem Terminal einchecken. Man muss an der Rezeption dennoch einen Frühstücksslot buchen und darf nur eine std frühstücken. Leider gibt es auf dem zimmer keine Bademäntel oder Schlappen. Auch im Poolbereich oder Saunabereich gibt es sowas nicht. Viele sind mit ihren ganzen sachen hoch und alles stand überall herum. Die Saunen sind getrennt in Männer und Frauensauna. An die Regeln, dass es dort Textilfrei ist, hält sich kaum jemand. Vor der sauna sind direkt die Dusche, sodass man jedem beim Duschen zugucken muss und von der Aussicht aus dem kleinen Fenster nichts sieht. Die Zimmergröße war in ordnung. Das bett leider unbequem durch getrennte Topper. Auf dem zimmer gibt es Tee. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Room was clean but very boring.Also I would have hoped to be able to chill the room more (was 22C even full aircon) especially when it was like +4deg over the night outside - bring in the cool air! I did not like the color pallette and minimalism on the room walls. Parking is 500m away in ”Rokkiparkk”i so it’s some walk if by car. Be sure to dropp off your luggage in case. Top floor Sauna, deck and pool are great! Breakfast is very good👍 Basically is was good value for the money, depending on what you value. I’d still like to see an upgrade of the textiles in the room.

Dirty room (had to ask a cleaner separately to come and clean previous customers mess), old vibe, floor made sounds with every step. Towels didn’t get changed even though we placed them on the floor as adviced. No amenities in the room. No apologies or vouchers for the troubles. Definitely not worth the price.

My third stay at this hotel. Unfortunately this time I was given a very grubby room, the floors were dirty and worn and the room door and bathroom door had large dents on them like someone had hacked on to them with a tool?? And it has been badly repaired with some kind of paste. I am not sure if these rooms are inspected regularly as it would be a quick job to change the doors. I find it odd at a 4 star hotel there isn’t even a spoon in the room or any standard tea. The breakfast is consistently good and food items are high quality and fresh. There was little wardrobe space to hang the clothes. If you want comfort and space you must book an upgrade not the standard room. The level of cleanliness has unfortunately gone down from last visit, and the corridor carpets in floor 8 at least had stains on them. This hotel is worth it if you book the more expensive rooms and take full advantage of the sauna and breakfast facilities. Very easy reach to town centre, less than 10 mins on the tram from just outside the hotel.

Skybar is worth a visit, however, staying at hotel, not so much. Disappointed with cleaning of the bathrooms, indoor climate is not good. Bedding is damp. Hotel and especially bathrooms are in need of renovation. Staff is friendly, though. Ended up staying one night and booking another hotel instead for the rest of the trip, which did not have these issues. I do not recommend this hotel or the chain. This is the second Strawberry hotel in a row I have stayed at with these kinds of problems.

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel, nicht völlig zentral, aber gut angebunden mit mehreren Straßenbahnlinien direkt vorm Haus, die einen in 10 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum bringen. Nettes Personal, herausragendes Frühstück. Die Wucht ist natürlich der Pool in der obersten Etage mit Blick auf Stadt und Ostsee. Gerade morgens um 7 hat man den - übrigens auch sonst sehr schön gestalteten und sauber gehaltenen - Bereich teilweise für sich allein. Einzig bei der Sauberkeit im Zimmer selbst wäre etwas Luft nach oben, für ein Haus dieses Anspruchs war etwas viel Staub auf den Möbeln und fanden sich bei Ankunft noch Fussel im Teppich. Aber das sucht man schon das Haar in der Suppe. Insgesamt ist das Hotel uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Excellent hotel in a convenient location. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and several tram stops. Walkable to the the Eckerö Line ferry terminal and the city centre (with a coffee stop). Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower excellent. The room could probably do with something on the wall as it was a bit stark, but that is a non issue and had no impact on our stay. Considering the size of the hotel (you can see it from miles around) it was really quiet throughout our stay. The AC/climate control system in the room is a bit fiddly but it works and was very much appreciated (it was surprisingly hot in Helsinki when we visited). The internet speed was decent and the wifi easy to connect to. As is typical in Clarion hotels, the breakfast spread was exceptional. There was a lot of great food to choose from. Would definitely stay again.

Schade ist, dass in diesen neuen Gebäuden Fenster nicht zu öffnen sind und man von der Klimaanlage abhängig ist. Darüber hinaus sollte man überlegen, ob man bei einem Aufenthalt von mehr als 3 Nächten in den kleinen Zimmern wohnen möchte. Das Zimmer war sehr klein!

I had upgraded to a superior room and found it spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect, soft but not too soft, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. My room was on the 15th floor and the sea view couldn't have been better! The breakfast was tasty, with a nice selection of just about everything one could hope to have. The only negative was the weak shower pressure, but luckily there was also a bathtub, so I didn't mind.

Nice rooms, however one of the two rooms we stayed in was distinctly smaller than the other. The blackout blinds were suboptimal with openings on the sides that were hard to fix/plug. The relax area and swimming pool was top notch. We could hear the trams even though we were on floor 7, albeit not a major issue. Whilst hotel a bit out of city centre, several tram lines outside the hotel which take you to most places in Helsinki. Nice breakfast.

The receptionists need to be more professional . The check in its not just about giving a key . They can ask about how was our stay , explain better about the breakfast . We weren't able to have breakfast because we weren't told when we arrived that it was until 9:30 a.m on Monday . we had to ask for two free coffees, which could have been proposed but we had to ask...

Ok hotel but terrible business ethics and poor service. The receptionist used almost half an hour checking us in even if we had prepaid reservations, during the process he offered a "very good deal" on a upgrade to superior room for 20EUR/night. When checking the website afterwards I found that the normal price difference between standard and superior rooms those days was only 18 EUR. 3 days after checking out my credit card was suddenly charged 40 EUR for minibar items. I had not taken anything from the minibar, and the invoice stated date of consumption as 2 days after we left. After e-mailing with the hotel I have still not received a refund, or any other explanation than repeated copies of the invoice.

The shower and bed were top notch. I wish my shower worked that well at home. Lol. When I told front desk that I needed a taxi to the airport at 4am he actually reserved me a taxi and told me the price I would pay for the ride and then he said he would get me some breakfast before I left. A couple of hours later ten minutes before 4am I saw this decent breakfast spread in the lobby (something far better than I could make). I quickly got a coffee and yogurt. I easily could have eaten more things there. That's the kind of service that's exceptional and if I'm back in Helsinki I will be staying at this hotel again. Thank you for your excellent service.

Here’s a Great location for catching the ferry to Tallinn. The hotel is quiet, spotless, and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was outstanding, offering a great variety. While there’s not much to do in the immediate area, the staff were very helpful and professional. The Sky Bar and pool were definite highlights, adding a nice touch to the stay. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Ein tolles Hotel mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Service. Wir konnten bereits 1.5 Stunden vor der offiziellen check-in-Zeit ins Zimmer. Vom Zimmer im 15. Stock hatten wir einen grandiosen Blick, auch bereits aus dem gläsernen aufzug. Leider gibt es in den Zimmern nur einen senkrechten Glasstreifen, um die Aussicht zu genießen. Eigentlich zu wenig für das traumhafte Panorama. Frühstücksbuffet bot für jeden etwas, auch gab es viele vegane Optionen. Am Wochenende gibt es zwischen 7 und 11 Uhr slots fürs Frühstücksbuffet, um den Andrang besser auffangen zu können. So hat man jeweils eine Stunde fürs Frühstück Zeit, was absolut ausreichend ist. Hat sehr gut funktioniert. Den Slot konnten wir frei wählen. Das Hotel liegt in der direkten Nähe der Straßenbahn und eines Supermarktes. Im 16. Stock gibt es einen beheizten Pool mit grandiosem Ausblick und auch jeweils eine Sauna für Männer und Frauen. Alles in allem ist das Hotel nur zu empfehlen.

Comfortable, stylish hotel with very good facilities. Room was spacious and provided superb views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, breakfast choices were extensive and plentiful. Skyroom bar provides great views across Helsinki and serves a wide range of drinks. The city centre was only a short tram ride away. The only negative during our stay was the supposed allocation of time slots for breakfast, which was not implemented and resulted in chaos on the Saturday morning.

The room is functional and very clean, which is really important. However, I would have preferred if they had provided slippers and a bathrobe. Limited menu in restaurant. Nice food though and at breakfast, but breakfast experience terrible. So overcrowded on Saturday and Sunday that there were no tables free at all. Very greedy clientele eating vast amounts of food for the whole day. Clean room but sugar coffee etc not topped up. Rooftop bar very good with good cocktails. Location good right by a tram stop with 3 lines.
