The building and grounds are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. The location is next to one of the many palaces Sintra has to offer and it’s a quick walk into the historic town center. I cannot say enough about how lovely and accommodating the staff members are at this place. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.

The location of the property was special-an old farm that is still being used. The building was great, our room was nice and we had a great view. It was incredibly quiet, so we had a good rest. The bathroom needed a coat of paint, as it was peeling pretty badly by the windows. The man who checked us in was incredibly kind, and gave us a nice tour of the grounds. It could probably use one more staff person, as the morning manager was doing everything, and was having a hard time keeping up. All in all, I would stay there again.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Quinta dos Lobos! The staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to old Sintra and transportation to the sights around Sintra but far enough out of town to have a very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was gorgeous, quite large and cozy but also modern.

Quinta dos Lobos is a really nice old converted estate. There are nice grounds surrounding the estate that are available to guests. The rooms are tastefully decorated but leave a bit to be desired in terms of appointments, as there are no TVs or, more importantly, clothing irons/steamers in the room. On an odd note, the staff were oddly fixated on whether my room rate included breakfast (it did), and I had to show them my Expedia reservation at both check-in and check-out to not get charged 9€ (in a country where an espresso and a pastry go for under 3€) each for a very mediocre breakfast. Aside from that, staff were friendly and accommodating. A couple notes about the area - the hotel is near one of the key palace attractions, but is a 15-20 minute walk from the main tourist area. There is a medieval pub next door with live music that gets LOUD on the weekends.

This hotel is right next door to Quinta da Regaleira, which is a plus because that is one of the highlights of Sintra, and allows you to walk to the beginning of your Sintra sightseeing. You will, however, have to rely on taxis or Tuktuks because you really do not want to drive here or try to rely on the buses. Plan your Sintra itinerary and transportation carefully, including dinner. Uber will not pickup out here and there's nothing you can do about it, but we had good luck with the taxis summoned by the hotel staff. Very friendly staff at this hotel will do everything they can to accommodate your needs, even letting you into the staff laundry room if you need to iron some shirts.

The hotel was a boutique hotel with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely one-night stay. The lady staff at the front desk was very helpful and lovely. The lunch was good, and they accommodated our diet restrictions at the restaurant. The breakfast was not included, so we paid extra for it with limited options. The lady at the restaurant was very nice, She was able to get us cooked eggs and coffee in the morning. The hotel should offer more breakfast options for the guests for the cost we paid. Want to feel like a queen in your own palace? This historic property had all the modern luxury and the old world history. Beautiful gardens, and an awesome Medieval bar next door, where many locals and tourists from all over the area congregated. Check in was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent.
