Amazing, conditions and cleanness of rooms are good. Although gym equipment require maintenance, swimming pool and coin laundry are family friendly. Breakfast included in the room charge is also highly appreciated as there are not so much please for breakfast nearby

Great room. Great staff. Great breakfast (oatmeal toppings were terrific!) Exercise room could have better free weights for women. (I.e 12.5 or at least 15s) nice touch for towels and brita water in exercise room!!! Cable machine needs servicing.

The pool was very small with shallow end of 3 ft and deep end of 4 ft!! As well, found it very unusual that we were told that the rooms are cleaned only every other day??!!

This property is run down and very poorly cleanednor lack there of. The bedding gad stains and questionable pieces of black on the mattress that was collected and reporting. Limited breakfast choices and pool was small, cold and are was not cleaned regularly. Would not return. Customer service was great!

In the first room I had, I killed 5 black carpenter ants inside an hour of arriving. Carpet was being replaced in the building, so perhaps that was why. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and the second room was great!

Front desk unattended, I needed to wait almost 10 min to change my room (as my room's deadbolt did not work). The second room assigned to me, there were crumbs, from food left on some of the surfaces in the living room. The room / bed area smelled of someone's strong perfume. The elevator buttons stick, so it's difficult to activate it. The hotel looks like it could use a deep clean, some paint to be fresher and cleaner feeling.

The hotel was located off highway 417. My family and I were passing through and decided to stop in Ottawa/Kanata because the youngest traveller is a toddler and it was getting late. It was easy to find the hotel off the highway and the front staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that there was cashew nuts on the floor near our TV. The cleaning person must have missed it. Other than that the room appeared clean and nothing else was amiss. Beds were great and not noisy at all despite being close to the highway. Would stay there again if the opportunity present itself.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location off the main highway and Terry Fox. Many shopping options nearby. The hotel staff are also super friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. There are only a few downsides - 1) We booked a suite as we have a toddler and wanted her to sleep in a seperate room. We were shocked to find there was no door seperating the room from the sitting area. This made it difficult for us to enjoy our night after the kids went to sleep. 2) the pool is very shallow Overall good value for money. Wouldn't mind coming back again

The property and hotel itself is fine. Decent cleanliness and staff were friendly. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. My main complaint is that there is virtually NO sound dampening between rooms. You can hear people sneeze. There also happened to be a bunch of teens hanging in the hallway when I stayed which of course isn’t the hotels fault, but it was very loud and frustrating. I called the front desk to have someone speak to them but it seemed like a teenager was working their first job so of course didn’t really know what to do. Thankfully it didn’t last too late into the night. I recommend for a short stay because on all other accounts the hotel is fine.

The pullout sofa is terrible. My wife and 12 year old son slept very poorly in it. Smaller than normal pullout sofa. Also we left some drinks in the fridge and called back at 11:15am and they said that house cleaning threw them out already. Right. Disappointing coming from a Marriott property. Also we asked about reserving a room for our girls volleyball team to eat together for a dinner. They said they don’t reserve rooms and they are available on a first come first serve basis. Then when we arrived they said the room was reserved for a team that was there that checked in the day before. What?

Appears to be a newer type building. Fairly clean. Not one usb plug in the room which seems odd for a modern building. Location is good if you’re just looking for a room close to the highway with no walking distance amenities. Biggest issue is the lack of hot water. Shower and shaving is with barely lukewarm water is not something I would expect in a 1st world hotel let alone one with the Marriott brand. With all the options available in the Ottawa area, I would not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Amazing customer service. Allergy-informed practices. They went out of their way to clean and provide a scent free room after I mentionned mild fragrance in my room. ( I had not requested a scent-free room because I booked through an app.) I have been unwell and in and out of hospital for unknown reactions recently. So this was a huge comfort for me. Hotel staff throughout the facility were friendly, kind, hospitable, and available. In a time when many businesses are short staffed and employees are tired, it was noticeable to see so many dedicated and smiling employees happy to provide service and support. It was a calm and really well layed out facility. The room was spacious and more than adequate. The breakfast area was large with booths and comfortable seats unlike many affordable hotels whose breakfast areas feel like cafeterias. I was so impressed to see that you can discuss and request allergen-free items such as gluten-free bread etc. And while the pool was much more shallow and small than I had anticipated, the deck and washroom was wheelchair accessible and they even had a lift seat to make it accessible! Amazing customer service. Allergy-informed practices. They went out of their way to clean and provide a scent free room after I mentionned mild fragrance in my room. ( I had not requested a scent-free room because I booked through an app.) I have been unwell and in and out of hospital for unknown reactions recently. So this was a huge comfort for me. Hotel staff throughout the facility were friendly, kind, hospitable, and available. In a time when many businesses are short staffed and employees are tired, it was noticeable to see so many dedicated and smiling employees happy to provide service and support. It was a calm and really well layed out facility. The room was spacious and more than adequate. The breakfast area was large with booths and comfortable seats unlike many affordable hotels whose breakfast areas feel like cafeterias. I was so impressed to see that you can discuss and request allergen-free items such as gluten-free bread etc. And while the pool was much more shallow and small than I had anticipated, the deck and washroom was wheelchair accessible and they even had a lift seat to make it accessible! I wish all hotels would start thinking about inclusion and accessibility. Keep up the good work!

Called ahead to notify I was checking in late due to flight delays and when I arrived there was no one at desk for almost 20 minutes. I tried calling and no one came to answer phone. Another guest arrived while I was waiting and had same issue.

Absolutely amazing staff on site. I had an issue with my credit card due to the previous nights stay at a different hotel and the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me sort it all out and be able to keep my room. I will be booking Marriott from now on.

Check in was fantastic. Our plans changed at the last minute and we had to arrive early. Kim at the front desk was very accommodating and told us she would do whatever she could to get us into our room early. We actually got a call at 12:30 and were told our rooms we ready. Well done Kim 👍

We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and have always been treated extremely well. Tonight we were fortunate enough that the hotel wasn’t full so got an upgrade which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back

Everything was great except the breakfast, it close at 9am but if you get there 830 and they have ran out of things they dont replenish it, mainly the proteins e.g. bacon, sausage, eggs.

Clean and no smells. But!!! The guy from front desk isn’t approachable and not friendly at all. The breakfast was horrible, past 7am already and only bagels are offered and toaster isn’t working properly. Coffee tables not even replenished. Poor group of whole bunch of Seniors Tour that they didn’t even had a good breakfast and including our family. I am disappointed in that part.

Hotel was great. A little disappointed in the breakfast, I have had much better free ones at other chains. Sausage was not browned and instant scrambled eggs were rubbery. Not much else in the selection other than cereal and bagels / bread.

Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced. Easy parking and access to highway. Spacious room, plenty of storage space, large and bright bathroom. Lots of places to charge phones and tablets. Decent breakfast. Hot, decent coffee. We would stay there again.

We returned for another stay at this location. This is one of our go-to hotels when we stay in Ottawa, specifically in Kanata. Our room this time was more spacious with a king size bed and sitting area with a pullout couch, chair and table. Bathroom amenities were fully stocked. Everything else was in working order. Situated just off the highway with several ships and restaurants within a kilometre away makes this an ideal for travellers. There is plenty of foliage around the hotel that keeps the traffic noise very low. We stayed in a ground floor room facing the busy intersections and could barely hear the traffic. We’ve also stayed in a room facing the back of the property and had the same experience with noise. Breakfast has a nice variety of food to choose from the hot and cold selections. There is a free coffee/tea bar located in the lobby for guests. There is also a small shopping area to purchase snacks and other items. If you prefer to dine in, the desk clerks can provide you with a list of various restaurants in the area. Eat your meal in the hotel dining area if you prefer not to eat in your room. No issues with parking. There is plenty of parking. However, be careful because right now it appears that they are doing some work. We found a large rusty nail on the ground in the parking lot. They have large bins in the lot for all of the debris. Lastly, the staff are Excellent. Professional, courteous, friendly every single time you approach them. All of them.

This hotel and its location is one of our favourites. Its ideally situated nestled amongst the trees and bushes right off the highway and close to shopping and eateriesand the Scotiabank Centre of you're interested in catching a hockey game or concert. It is quiet considering it is right off the highway as well as surrounded by busy intersections. This hotel is clean and offers well-balanced breakfast options. There is a swimming pool, fitness room with some free weights and machines. You can even do a load or two of laundry if need be. The parking is outside and there is plenty of space both in front, alongside the property and at the back of the property. The staff are fantastic. They are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We feel at home when we stay here. With our postsecondary student in Ottawa, this isniur go to home away from home even if only for a weekend while we visit. Our room was clean and well-maintained. Beds are extremely comfortable. The room is cozy and roomy enough to move around. You won't be disappointed choosing this hotel for your next visit to the area.
