This is a nice hotel in a great location, with a beautiful entry and a lovely garden terrace. There is parking onsite. Breakfast was included and eggs were made to order. The man in reception was very kind and helpful and when we had some WiFi issues, immediately gave us another option for connecting.

Lovely hotel with very nice staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms were typically small. Great location except for the church across the street who's bells went off all night. Ask for a room not facing the street. There is parking around back of the hotel, which is great. There are a couple of good restaurants very near the hotel. It does not have a restaurant.

We had a mix of 8 family members, 3 rooms. Each room was unique and spacious. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It is a beautiful mix of old-world and tasteful attention to modern updates. So many amazing details to take note of. Hotel staff were extremely friendly, kind and welcoming. The rose garten was just beautiful. Enjoyed beers out there in the afternoon and coffee in the morning. The on-site parking was fantastic and such a surprise, especially being right in the middle of the best part of town. Our family has been traveling throughout Europe for the last 2 weeks and hotel Burg Gartenpalais was the hands-down favorite of every person in our group. We all wished we had planned to stay longer. What a gem!

Everything about this hotel was great! The parking right behind the hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and quaint. The breakfast was very tasty with a variety of foods to choose from. The location was right by the gardens which was nice.

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of town. Front desk staff was super friendly! Answered any questions we had, always helping us out. Wait staff was great as well! Great breakfast in morning, loved the patio area to relax and enjoy a dessert or drink. Clean rooms. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Burggartenpalais. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. A special highlight was the lovely piano in the lobby, which they kindly allowed our son to play. The room was perfect for two adults and a teenager. It was very spacious and featured a clever layout where our son had his own separate area out of our direct line of sight, giving everyone a bit of privacy. The room was very comfortable, furnished with a chaise sofa and rocking chairs, and offered beautiful views of the garden. The location is absolutely perfect. It is just a short walk to the Christmas Museum, the Medieval Crime Museum, and all the popular photography spots. Most importantly, it is only steps away from the center square where the Night Watchman tour begins. Breakfast: A typical, high-quality regional spread of breads, cheeses, and meats. They also offered delicious cooked-to-order eggs. Parking: Available for an extra fee in a very convenient lot located right behind the building. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rothenburg, especially families!

This is a fantastic hotel within the old walls of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. As such, getting to it can be a bit hair-raising as you need to navigate the tiny streets made for walking rather than cars. But once here, it is truly a wonderful experience. The room is very clean and comfortable with a very modern bathroom. This hotel does have breakfast, but doesn't do any other meals, although it does have a nice area to have a drink in the evening. Above all is the staff. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Tia, who took great care of us on our arrival and check in. You really need to give Rothenburg a visit and stay at this hotel - you will not regret it.

My husband I stayed two nights. We were greeted and treated with "love". It's the only way I can describe it. The staff was helpful in every way. The room was wonderful and clean. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a beautiful German town, just like I imagined it to be. We would stay here again without question. The parking was fantastic. We walked everywhere and never even used our car.

The staff at the hotel is outstanding. They were very nice and very helpful with suggestions about the village. And the breakfast is terrific. Our room was excellent! Very clean and very comfortable. We completely enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it!

Rooms were renovated, our room had a gorgeous massive soaking bathtub which was amazing after walking to explore the town. Staff was welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Would revisit this hotel if we end up in Rothenburg again

Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. With a large family, we stayed in the chalet which was so nice and comfortable. We wanted to stay forever! The beds were comfortable. The views were beautiful. We were also right in the middle of everything. It was so easy to tour the old town. We hope to make it back here someday!!

We booked a family room for our family of 5. We received the “chalet” and it was much bigger than we expected. There were enough beds for 7 people (we had 5). There is a kitchenette, laundry, and a full and half bath. We enjoyed being able to spread out during our stay and not feel like we were crammed into a small hotel room. The staff at the hotel are very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and had coffee in the garden in the afternoon. This hotel is a gem!

Very pleased with this hotel! Only drawback is the church across the street bell rings every 30 minutes at night. Other than that I would stay here again. VERY friendly and helpful staff and location was perfect to access this beautiful little city.

This hotel is lovely - comfortable room and bed, beautiful grounds, and a nice breakfast. The common areas are interesting and unique. The staff was all helpful except for one older woman at the front desk, who was quite rude to us and our young child. If not for her attitude, I would have happily returned here but she ruined the experience for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Well located in the town and everything is within walking distance. Had a great walk along the river as recommended by staff

The hotel is lovely historic and interesting. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Nice breakfast. Hotel is located in a great location. For us the beds were a little hard and of two nights we had one cold shower..not our choice but there was no hot water.

This property is a joy with a delightful staff. The welcoming lobby is beautifully decorated and has an 800 year old wooden support beam next to the front desk. There’s a charming garden to have cakes and drinks from 2:00-10:00 as well as a breakfast room to enjoy the included breakfast. Our room was the largest we have had on our trip and included a desk, sofa and rocking chair in addition to the bed and a large bathroom. We stayed two nights and requested more as soon as we checked in, but they were booked. Parking available on site for 10 euros per night.

We liked the fact that this hotel is in the heart of the touristy area and within a short walking distance to the Christmas market. We did not like two of the front desk staff (older man and woman) who always seemed to be irritated and upset with us. Very unfriendly and cold.

Just an awesome time in an absolutely amazing town. The team at this hotel was over the top great. Little hard to get to once inside old walls. We called and they guided us in. Front desk always had smiles. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We were in town for the Christmas market and the location was perfect. It is close to the main town square but at the end of a street which was quiet yet convenient to get around. The room was comfortable and spacious with a big bathroom and walk in shower. The owners and staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful which made our visit even more memorable since we felt very welcome during our stay. The owner even offered to drive us to the train station when our taxi was late which was very thoughtful and kind! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing location - easy walk all through the old town, but a little bit down the street so wasn’t noisy. About 18 mins walk from the train station but honestly worth it to be inside the old town walls. Staff were amazing, the hotel was an older design but absolutely gorgeous, and the room size was great. Breakfast was also well worth it. Would definitely stay here again

Great location and ambience right in the center of the old town. Wonderful room. Great breakfast buffet with plenty of options and nice personal service. We very much enjoyed our stay. Only caveat: it's not easy to navigate the access by car through the narrow streets.

Great location is a short walk to the town square. The building is old and once the town mayor’s residence. Room was different with entry to a desk area with bedroom on one side and bath on the other. This was very functional. Taya sp? at the desk was wonderful and very helpful for all of our stay.

A beautiful hotel right in the heart of town. Front desk staff was super friendly! Answered any questions we had, always helping us out. Wait staff was great as well! This is a fantastic hotel within the old walls of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. As such, getting to it can be a bit hair-raising as you need to navigate the tiny streets made for walking rather than cars. But once here, it is truly a wonderful experience. The room is very clean and comfortable with a very modern bathroom. This hotel does have breakfast, but doesn't do any other meals, although it does have a nice area to have a drink in the evening. Above all is the staff. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Tia, who took great care of us on our arrival and check in. You really need to give Rothenburg a visit and stay at this hotel - you will not regret it.
