We loved that this hotel was a bit away from St. Mark's square. It allows you to easily walk to the busy tourist areas or easily enjoy the area around the hotel which is calm and relaxing with plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is wonderful. The cafe and restaurant are great amenities and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Huge property which was a pleasant change of pace.

Really nice building with plenty of areas to relax, the courtyards are amazing to sit in and have a drink from the bar. Breakfast is nice with the option to sit within one of the courtyards to eat. Room had air conditioning.

Largest room we had on our trip. Clothes washer in common area came in handy. Just minutes to the water boat station. Property is well maintained.

This is a remarkable property, in a converted monastery. I opted for a double, which was the size of a studio apartment, fully equipped. A large courtyard, enclosed promenade, excellent restaurant, cafe, bar and lounge, all on site. Breakfast buffet is included and is excellent. Front desk and maintenance staff all highly commendable. A notable plus is that the property is on a large piazza, in a, quiet, lovely, very low traffic area. I took a private water taxi in from the train station, which was a beautiful, scenic cruise. Even with fairly minimal luggage, walking in would have been far less appealing, especially for a first time in the city. Five stars!

What a brilliant place to stay in Venice! Location was perfect, just slightly away from the main busy areas so it felt peaceful, and so close to Fondamenta Nova for access to ferry network. The hostel is beautifully clean and the beds were comfy, air con works, everything functions great (down to the laundry that is €3 per load, payable by card and includes the detergent). The room was really sizeable, plenty of space and basic options for cooking with an under counter standard sized fridge. Breakfast was enough to set you up for the day, with fresh fruit salad and hot options of eggs, bacon etc. The real joy is the old building itself and the cloistered courtyard. It’s such a treat to have this amount of space in Venice, and on a hot afternoon, coming back to enjoy the courtyard and read in the shade looking at the orange trees felt like a real treat. The building itself is stunning. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and as non standard hostel goers (44yr old mum and 16yr old daughter) we felt entirely comfortable and the young people/students staying in the hostel/accommodation were respectful and very quiet! We couldn’t fault it, and will be recommending to anyone visiting Venice!

El alojamiento está ubicado a unos pasos de una estación de vaporetto, lo cual es muy conveniente si llevas varias maletas y si llegas desde el aeropuerto Marco Polo. El personal fue muy amable y nos permitió guardar nuestro equipaje ya que nuestro avión de regreso salía por la noche. El hotel en sí es muy agradable, con un patio grande y fresco para sentarse a beber algo. Si te hospedas en una habitación con cocineta cuentas con lo básico, pero no muchos utensilios. El área ea tranquila, alejada de los comercios más turísticos, agradable para andar a pie.

Large clean room close to water bus from airport. Bag storage was nice but not secure. Breakfast was typical continental fare so nothing of note. Overall a great first stop for an extended trip.

The 3 BR “apartment” was spacious. It had 3 separate dorm rooms, each with 2 single beds that were comfortable and clean. The shared bathroom is hostel-like and the common space had 2 couches, a dinning table, and kitchen but no utensils and no tv - just a very basic space. Air conditioning was great which is mostly what we were after. We saw some tiny ants crawling around the floor.

It is located in a very good location. Everything is easily reachable either by walk or by water ways. Room was clean and big. Breakfast was okay and I believe had enough options. We would stay here again.

This is a very old building that once hosted a monestary. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small. Our room looked out to a canal. They have a bar and lounge that serves food. Walking distance to 2 water taxi stations, and lots of shopping and restaurants.

Had a lovely stay. Really spacious room, with plenty of character, very clean and comfortable. The building is beautiful, and the courtyard especially enjoyable. Decent breakfast, and the location is ideal to explore the streets of Venice. Highly recommend.

Very close to the edge of the lagoon. It was a calm and secluded location. The room was fantastic with a lovely view of the canal behind the building, clean, airy, minimalistic, perfect.

The hotel is amazing, friendly staff members and easy going. It blew our mind when we arrived. My friend and I were sharing a room with 2 single beds, the first night the only had very thin pillows and slept very badly. The following day we received extra pillows and made it bit easier, the bed mattresses could be more comfortable though. The buffet breakfast was bit 'poor' for 12 euro we paid for (most of the times it was empty but it was constantly getting refilled), coffee from machine made. The following days we opted for the breakfast from the internal bar instead much better. On our last day we wanted to get some drinks around lunch time and both the bars were superbusy - 2 people serving the same customers at the time - waited about 20 minutes then given up. Apart from these couple of episodes, i would definetely come back! it is very close to pier for the airport and walking distance from all the attractions but not in the middle of it (which makes it very quiet and enjoyable!)

Great location and all the sites are within walking distance. The rooms are well designed and spacious. We found it very noisy at night and a bit studenty. The breakfast was awful. Not enough staff or food out and very poor quality .

Really a unique and quirky place. It's a hostel, hotel and dorm with a history from 13th century, and nicely modernized. Our private room was huge with tiny kitchen area. Felt like a dorm but bright and nice. No TV's.Had a study balcony. Great breakfast and nice cafe/bar in building. In the center is a huge open space with potted citrus trees and tables for drinks and eating. It was always bustling. Staff is great. Sehr schönes Gebäude und gute Ideen beim Umbau und Nutzung, leider dann scheinbar nur noch ans Geldverdienen gedacht und dafür sich nicht mehr viel Mühe gemacht. Appartement mit Küche gebucht, darin mir 2 Gläser Teller und Töpfe, plastikschüssel und Sieb, (alles billigste Variante von Ikea) kein Schneidemesser pfamnenwender Schwamm Handtuch kein Gramm samt oder bisschen Öl oder Wasserkocher oder Tasse oder sonst was… Zimmer hieß superieur, war mit Ausblick auf Fluchtweg und hebäudetechnik in Optik von Gefängnishof… Frühstück im ob Stil billiges Hostel…

We had a large mezzanine room on a little canal. With a kitchen but (good for enjoying the quietness of Venice) no tv. Good beds. Excellent breakfast. 15 minutes walk from rialto. 2 minutes to the alilaguna (Boat) to the airport. Really nice.

It's clean and property is well-kept except that the AC wasn't working in my entire stay and it gets really hot.:( For someone who lives in a tropical country, I know it's really hot and my stay there kept me awake in the middle of the night sweating. It's close to a water taxi station so it's convenient and a little far from the center which is great bcos you'll get the peace and quiet that you need after a long day of touring. I got the one with the breakfast and I thought it was worth it. Hostels are usually not my first bet but this one, I might come back if I go back to Venice. Staff are nice (I just hesitate sometimes bcos they sound like they're mad but I guess it's just their tone). I just hope they fix the air conditioning especially if an apartment shares 3 bedrooms, or at least install ceiling fans just in case someone decides to leave the window open which automatically turns off the entire apartment AC. Otherwise, I'd recommend this!

The front staff went above and beyond in my opinion! She was excellent!!! I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but she changed our room for us to accommodate our needs. It was difficult for either of us to climb the stairs to one of the rooms. So she found us another room and moved our luggage over for us while we were out. Now that is service. So wonderful! I would definitely stay here again. Loved the history of the monastery. Also, loved the location…easy access to the water bus. Beautiful place!

Wir hatten einen weitestgehend tollen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und ruhig. Dusche und Toilette waren separat, sodass die eine Person duschen konnte während die andere Person sich im WC fertig machte. Das war optimal, um am Morgen nicht zu viel Zeit zu verbrauchen. Die Einrichtung war sehr einfach gehalten und wies einige Gebrauchsspuren auf, da merkte man schon, dass es kein teures Hotel war. Der Service beim Check-in und Check-out war gut und freundlich. Als wir uns während unseres Aufenthalts an die Rezeption gewendet haben, war die an diesem Tag arbeitende Person leider nicht hilfsbereit und man fühlte sich nicht willkommen. Wir hatten eine einzige Rolle Toilettenpapier für 3 Nächte im Zimmer und haben daher am 2. Tag um eine zweite gebeten. Man hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, ein Verbrechen zu begehen schon nur zu fragen und bekommen haben wir keine. Man hat uns gesagt, wir würden am nächsten Tag während der Reinigung eine erhalten. Wir haben aber bis zu unserer Abreise keine gesehen. Die Unterkunft ist ansonsten aber zu empfehlen. Es hat auch einen sehr schönen Innenhof mit Lounges und Stühlen sowie Tischen, die zum Verweilen einladen. Abends kann man dort auch super ein Getränk von der Bar geniessen.

This is a remarkable property, in a converted monastery. I opted for a double, which was the size of a studio apartment, fully equipped. A large courtyard, enclosed promenade, excellent restaurant, cafe, bar and lounge, all on site. Breakfast buffet is included and is excellent. Front desk and maintenance staff all highly commendable. A notable plus is that the property is on a large piazza, in a, quiet, lovely, very low traffic area. I took a private water taxi in from the train station, which was a beautiful, scenic cruise. Even with fairly minimal luggage, walking in would have been far less appealing, especially for a first time in the city. Five stars!

I’m so glad we found this place to stay in: historic building, modern and maintained very well. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of on site facilities that we hadn’t expected. Very easy for water bus and water taxis.. 1 min walk!! The centre of Venice and all attractions are easily reachable on foot. Lovely breakfast included. Would honestly recommend this to anyone travelling to Venice.. families/ couples and solo travellers.

Really a unique and quirky place. It's a hostel, hotel and dorm with a history from 13th century, and nicely modernized. Our private room was huge with tiny kitchen area. Felt like a dorm but bright and nice. No TV's.Had a study balcony. Great breakfast and nice cafe/bar in building. In the center is a huge open space with potted citrus trees and tables for drinks and eating. It was always bustling. Staff is great. Location is next to the water and on a canal. 5 min to water taxi to airport but 30min walk to train station. Great value.

The property has a great history as a restored convent. We loved the location, close to the Venice Lagoon Fondamenta Nove vaporetto stop and on a canal. Not in the thick of the tourist areas so much quieter. Still within easy walking distance of all museums, shops, restaurants, and areas of interest. Nice breakfast, too!

Kultige Unterkunft in einem ehemalige Kloster. Lage am Fondamente Nove Top. Leider ist man zu Fuß vom Markusplatz mit 20 Minuten schneller als jedes Vaporetto. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse hervorragend. Nicht nur Dolce und Kaffee, sondern Toast, Croissants, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Joghurt, Müsli, Saft etc.

The hotel is amazing, friendly staff members and easy going. It blew our mind when we arrived. My friend and I were sharing a room with 2 single beds, the first night the only had very thin pillows and slept very badly. The following day we received extra pillows and made it bit easier, the bed mattresses could be more comfortable though. The buffet breakfast was bit 'poor' for 12 euro we paid for (most of the times it was empty but it was constantly getting refilled), coffee from machine made. The following days we opted for the breakfast from the internal bar instead much better. On our last day we wanted to get some drinks around lunch time and both the bars were superbusy - 2 people serving the same customers at the time - waited about 20 minutes then given up. Apart from these couple of episodes, i would definetely come back! it is very close to pier for the airport and walking distance from all the attractions but not in the middle of it (which makes it very quiet and enjoyable!)

Comfortable and quiet lodging. The decor is basic, but the space is comfortable. Near the water bus stop from Venice airport and in an area was quiet at night. The front desk staff were very engaging and helpful. The restaurant dinner was tasty and the onsite breakfast worked well for our family.
