October 2023, we truly hit the jackpot with the Cumbalica Hotel in Ilica. We got the #2 sea-view room which was close to perfect. Large room with huge living space. Small Migros on the ground floor which was excellent for quick snacks. Ilica is the perfect holiday destination, especially in October with hardly any tourists. Hotel has its own private beach. 20 Lira on the 10-min small bus shuttles gets you to the over-rated Alacati town, or Cesme (where you can catch a bus to anywhere). There are dozens of small restaurants and as usual, 2 streets behind, you get really tasty, and cheap food/ice cold beer. Watching the fish auction at the small fisherman's wharf was a real treat, and the nearby hot spring is absolutely great.

Front desk was not friendly. They barely greeted us when we were going in and out. We stayed at suite but they did not provide enough blankets and pillows for each of us so we had to keep asking for everything. Yes there is a small kitchenette but utensils are ridiculously limited. The pictures makes it look like the hotel has a private beach bit thats cafeterias beach and open to public. So dont be fooled by pictures like we did. They also purposly took the pictures makes it look like the hotel is right on the beach but its not. There is a busy road between hotel and the beach.

Super gut gelegen mit kleine Privat-Sandstrand gerade über der Strasse. Ein Migros/Einkaufmöglichkeit direkt im gleichen Gebäude. Dolmus (kleine öffentliche Büsse) halten vor dem Hotel an.

Beach is not a beach. It is a marina like setting, you have to jump in or use the rusted ladder to get in the water. It is across the street next to a free public beach, no private beach for the hotel. Area is filled with little homeless kids begging all day.

Saban bey, çok titiz, caliskan, samimi, yardim sever, konuksever bir isletmeci. Kaldigimiz sure icerisinde bize surekli yardimci oldu. Kaldigimiz Oda güzel, temiz, deniz manzarali. Çok memnun kaldik. Kendisine tesekkur ederiz. Very good situation next to the sea. Clean and big rooms, Saban has been very attentive and kind.

Odalar son derece temiz ve personel de çok kibardi. İnanılmaz sakin ve huzur doluydu. Yastıklar, çarşaflar, havlular o kadar temizdi ki sanki ilk kez kullanılıyor hissi verdi. Gerçekten temizlik konusunda takıntısı olanların rahatlıkla tercih edebileceği, sakin huzulu bir konaklama geçirdik. Emeği geçen tüm çalışanlara ve otel yönetimine çok teşekkürler

Otelin yeri harika. Otelin içi çok güzel dekore edilmiş ve cumbası yine çok güzel. Manzara harika. Tarihi ve estetik bir bina. Deniz çok güzel. Hizmet iyi. Yatakları konforlu. Temizlik sabah 9 da başlıyor bu konu kötü. Tatilde sabah 9 ve elektrik süpürgesinin sesiyle kalkabiliyorsunuz. Geçen sene de kalmıştım aynı konuda hatta yorum da yazmıştım pek değişmemiş. Bir de semaver paslıydı. Kadehler plastikti bu da otele yakışmıyor. Bunlara dikkat edilirse sevinirim.

Eski bir bina oldugu icin ondeki cumbalarin oencereleri cok zor acilip kapaniyor ayrica gece ruzgarda camlar inanilmaz ses yapiyor😏 malesef internet cekmiyor👎 konuyu ilettigimizde “evet efendim on taraftan cekmiyor arka odaya gecin” dediler. Arka oda da klima yok pervane var. Kimine gore sorun olmayabilir ama bizim icin malesef pervane olmamasi hos olmadi.

It’s a comfortable stay. We loved the big space both in the bedroom and the living room. We discovered some minor problems which we informed the management and they responded very quickly and rectified the problem. The marina/beach in front of the hotel is very nice on a sunny day as the water was clear and turquoise in color against the blue sky, that view has definitely added value to our stay. We mistakenly left our things behind and the management was kind enough to forward it to us to our next destination. We truly appreciate their help. Helpful staff and great accommodation. What else can you ask for. Highly recommend if you are coming to this little town.

There was no wifi during our 4 days stay. The receptionist was nice and friendly. Room were clean but there was no air conditioning in our bedroom, there was an ac in the living area. there was no balcony with sea view. Shower water was hot and nice.

It’s a comfortable stay. We loved the big space both in the bedroom and the living room. We discovered some minor problems which we informed the management and they responded very quickly and rectified the problem. The marina/beach in front of the hotel is very nice on a sunny day as the water was clear and turquoise in color against the blue sky, that view has definitely added value to our stay. We mistakenly left our things behind and the management was kind enough to forward it to us to our next destination. We truly appreciate their help. Helpful staff and great accommodation. What else can you ask for. Highly recommend if you are coming to this little town.

The staff at Cumbalica are exceptionally helpful and hospitable. Saban was especially dedicated. The room had every amenity needed for a comfortable stay. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Front desk was not friendly. They barely greeted us when we were going in and out. We stayed at suite but they did not provide enough blankets and pillows for each of us so we had to keep asking for everything. Yes there is a small kitchenette but utensils are ridiculously limited. The pictures makes it look like the hotel has a private beach bit thats cafeterias beach and open to public. So dont be fooled by pictures like we did. They also purposly took the pictures makes it look like the hotel is right on the beach but its not. There is a busy road between hotel and the beach.

Saban bey, çok titiz, caliskan, samimi, yardim sever, konuksever bir isletmeci. Kaldigimiz sure icerisinde bize surekli yardimci oldu. Kaldigimiz Oda güzel, temiz, deniz manzarali. Çok memnun kaldik. The hotel was clean, close to the areas i wanted. The receptionist was so helpful. The only problem i gad was with the hotels.com website. I couldn’t get the reservation details and invoice from them.

Odalar son derece temiz ve personel de çok kibardi. İnanılmaz sakin ve huzur doluydu. Yastıklar, çarşaflar, havlular o kadar temizdi ki sanki ilk kez kullanılıyor hissi verdi. October 2023, we truly hit the jackpot with the Cumbalica Hotel in Ilica. We got the #2 sea-view room which was close to perfect. Large room with huge living space. Small Migros on the ground floor which was excellent for quick snacks. Ilica is the perfect holiday destination, especially in October with hardly any tourists. Hotel has its own private beach. 20 Lira on the 10-min small bus shuttles gets you to the over-rated Alacati town, or Cesme (where you can catch a bus to anywhere). There are dozens of small restaurants and as usual, 2 streets behind, you get really tasty, and cheap food/ice cold beer. Watching the fish auction at the small fisherman's wharf was a real treat, and the nearby hot spring is absolutely great.

Prachtig hotel. Dicht bij de zee. De zee is erg mooi. Ilica is een warme zee met een bron. Lekkere restaurants in de buurt. We hadden een grote kamer met een aparte slaapkamer met keuken. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Erg mooie stranden in buurt. Cesme en Alacati ook mooi om te zien. Boottocht ook de moeite waard.

Had a fantastic time. Spacious apartment; great seaview; perfect location; helpful staff. Would definitely recommend, and visit again. Only slightly weak point was the breakfast. I'd encourage them to have a bit more variety. But overall, it was a 5 star experience.

Beach is not a beach. It is a marina like setting, you have to jump in or use the rusted ladder to get in the water. It is across the street next to a free public beach, no private beach for the hotel. Area is filled with little homeless kids begging all day.
