Ongoing work being done which was not reflected in the price of room

Nice room. Spacious and clean. Work being done at the time of stay, workmen in corridor outside room and also outside window using very noisy machinery. No room service offered which was disappointing as I like to have drinks to my room while getting ready. Cleaner appeared in the evening on the first day while we were getting ready rather than the usual morning. Carpark £12 a day which is apparently a discounted price. Cocktails were good and bar staff very friendly and chatty.

Great location, nice, modern and spacious family room, friendly staff. The only downside was elevators which didn’t work so good creating big queues and room was a bit cold. Otherwise great experience, would definitely recommend

Great stay, super lovely staff couldn't really complain. Only snag is that the restaurant shuts by 9.30pm so if you wanted food from the hotel you're stuck.

The fact that we stayed in a Marriott and had no option to order hot food/room service is honestly not very good. They only had a microwave in reception with the option to buy pasties, crisps and sweets! The 'Hot' breakfast was also cold! I dont think we will stay at this hotel again, and we often visit the Ovo Hydro. I think we would opt to stay at the Hilton again next time.

Last minute decision to stay over whilst attending event at the OVO. The location is perfect and a decent standard of hotel. There is no room service and due to late booking, no availability in the restaurant for dinner. There was an issue with the lifts, 2 of the 3 broken at one stage although one was fixed during our stay. Queues at the bar after the event put us off even trying so opted for the queue to the lift instead! Went for a walk in the morning returning in plenty time to return to the room prior to check out time to find we’d been locked out of room. Went back to reception to sort out issue to find card still not allowing access. Not a great experience considering the cost of the room (almost £200). It is convenient but there are other hotels in the area.

A nice hotel once you find the entrance to the car park. Not the best signage locally. Staff were lovely and breakfast was brilliant. I booked this hotel partly because it has a reported car charge point but it only has a single EV machine and it was out of order which made the following morning more difficult than it needed to be.

Only actually stayed for two hours. Firstly it was a very hot day and my husband whose 76th birthday it was felt unwell, and secondly the re was obviously renovation work going on above our room, so there was no chance to rest Should have got alarm bells when we saw the entire roof wrapped in plastic!

Was a great location. The parking was a major problem as you could not leave the car park without paying the full amount each time. This meant paying £12 each time you leave the car park. Very expensive if you wish to use your car throughout the day with the hotel as your base.

There were quite a bit of stains on the furniture, decorative pillows and the duvet cover. There doesn’t seem to be a cleaning schedule because the cleaners came at all random times; some times early in the morning, late in the afternoon (4pm) and so on to the point that we refused service just to not be interrupted. Strangely enough, we asked for spoons for our room, a very nice guy at the bar was looking all over and managed to find one. Another fella then offered to send a couple more spoons up to our room, but no one showed up. Maybe they ran out?

We slept for two separate nights at this hotel. On Friday in room 217 and Monday in room 329 The beds were comfortable and the bathroom seemed clean. The walls in the room were dirty. The second time on Monday when we returned to room 329 my husband found under the bed sheets a pair of socks and a small transparent box. We called the reception and they were apologetic and moved us to another room. The staff was very polite and friendly. If it wasn’t for the dirty walls and the stuff we found on the bed I would’ve given this hotel a better review.

Stay was okay but there needs to be improvement if they are charging the prices they are charging for their rooms. You expect the minimum for your room to be cleaned beforehand but the bin had not been emptied from the previous guests and there was what looked like to be make up marks on the net curtain too. This makes me doubt if the rooms are checked before someone check ins to ensure the room is fully cleaned. The shower floods too. The water does not drain away while in the shower but does so only afterwards so while you are in the shower after as little as 2 minutes the water overflows spilling out onto the bathroom floor. I was anxious about the noise as the hotel is close to a busy motorway but when the windows are closed thankfully you do not hear anything outside. However the room seems to have a constant buzzing or churning sound. Even with all the switches off and air con off the noise continues disturbing sleep.

Hotel was lovely itself and clean but the toilets had a very dirty drain smell we had too close the door . But the worse bit was the beds they were that bad the night staff girl moved us straight away but the other room was just as bad the beds had very big dips in the middle off them barely slept at all

The location is 2nd to non as we were at a venue at the OVO hydro The room was clean-ish. The bathroom had a drain oder, which did subside once we opened the window. There were areas of dust build-up, shelves and art displays and the room was quite but basic for the price, even taking into accounts the ease of location. That being said the reception and other staff were amazing and a credit to the hotel. Be aware the reception 'snack' area is very expensive. Also if using the multi storey car park next door the hotel will reduce the owed amount for hotel guests. Be mindful to mention on check out

Fab hotel. Beautiful rooms and very modern and clean. Staff friendly.

Good size family room but there's unpleasant smell in the bath room. The carpark is not onsite and you have to pay everytime you exit though there are a discounted tariff

Bathroom was really smelly from the pipes. But location was great for SEC . Bed super comfy also.

Our favourite place we stayed in Scotland! We stayed on the 7th floor with a river view. It was beautiful! The room had everything we needed, it was so comfortable, extremely clean, and easy to walk around from! We were able to walk everywhere and explore the west end easily!

Hotel & room is okay. But car park is expensive as pat by per entry instead of daily. Internet wifi is really bad, super low speed.

We arrived after storm Eowyn had caused problems in Scotland. The hotel was quiet, lots of events had been cancelled. Reception staff greeted us, explained the 'usual' information, wifi, car park charges, breakfast. What they failed to say was rather than face the still high wind and rain on way back from car park, park the car on level two, and use the connecting door directly into the hotel. We only realised this fact when leaving two days later. On reaching our room, we were pleased with how clean everywhere was. It seemed obvious that the room was newly decorated by the slight smell of new plaster. Then you look a little closer, damage to paintwork was evident, electrical plug sockets not fitted level on the wall (which made you think unsafe to use), light fitting (reading lamp at bed) literally hanging (swinging) off the wall. The bathroom, the sliding glass door looked great, but not very practical. The lock on it, flimsy. The toilet was fitted onto the wall about 4" too high!! Im 5'7" tall. Im not short, im not tall, my legs were swinging, i felt like a child!! I can never understand why those 'hose guides' are fitted shower hose, that can be lifted out of its holder, but restricted. On occasions when you dont want wet hair, or you want to shower a child without getting water in their face, those little bits of restrictive plastic are an absolute joke. Breakfast was a dried up buffet. The bread crusty, bacon awful, just not great considering cost!

Bar area extremely boring. Nothing on TV’s for kids. Doesn’t really cater for kids at all which is disappointing considering the hotels location next to the Hydro. Sofa bed for kids extremely uncomfortable. Would not recommend for families.

Weird shower…only hand held.

Didn't take breakfast or use the bar. Only issue was bedroom was too hot and aircon unit too noisy to sleep with. Opened window to resolve but traffic noise caused disturbed sleep.

2 night stay. Excellent check in. Allocated a corner room on 5th floor. Fantastic views. Nice room very clean. Mini fridge nice revolving chair and footstool but only one ! Partial opaque wall in shower room which I didn’t really like. Great walk in shower and lovely soft large bath towels. Would come back.

5⭐️ very friendly staff, beautiful rooms only down side was the heating system wasn’t sure how to work it at 2am when it was cold but apart from that great stay.

Wonderful check-in experience. However, just like my stay last year, it’s spoiled by a security guard on the inside at night that acts like you’re there to rob the place when all you’re trying to do is go to your room. Then, despite the bar being open late, it’s pretty hard to get service as the staff working the bar disappear into the back. This leaves just the security guard staring at your every move.

We have stayed here many times and is our go to hotel in Glasgow. Reception staff were as usual lovely. Helpful and courteous.

Mistakenly pre-paid for parking as there was no postage signage or information on the website. When I asked about the parking during check-in the employee was very rude and defensive saying "We can\'t refund you if you already pre-paid. You have to bring us a blank ticket if you want to use our overnight rate." I said "I didn\'t ask for a refund, I\'ve never been here before so I don\'t know how the parking works, that\'s why I\'m asking you." She literally treated me like I was the biggest idiot on this earth for not knowing how the parking worked. Perhaps there should be some signage in the parking garage? I doubt I\'m the only person in the hotel\'s history to make that mistake. I don\'t even care about the money, it was how she treated me when I simply asked how it worked.

Excellent location and an excellent room. Only problem was a long slow queue at the bar on a concert night. But really enjoyed our stay 😎

This was an exceptional stay! The staff and bartenders were so kind and helpful. They genuinely seemed interested in our day and our plans during our trip. The hotel was super clean. This felt like a very safe area as well—close enough to all of the major spots in Glasgow but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay again!

This is the second time we have stayed here for a concert at the hydro and it surpassed our already high expectations from the first time. Our first interaction with Megan at reception was great with it being friendly and conversational, mentioned it was our first night away from our new son and was gifted with two complimentary drinks at the bar. She also explained that we would receive a discount at the multistorey car park attached to the hotel with it costing £12 instead of £24. There is also a walkway that leads to the hydro from this car park. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a thermostat you can control within. The TV can be connected to your phone so you can cast. I didn't hear much noise from adjacent rooms or outside. The bathroom has a good size shower. There was a mini fridge and an ice bucket(which you can get filled at the bar) in the room too which were great additions. The room was starting to show a little bit of the signs of being next one of the busiest venues in the world with lots of scuff marks on the walls and the shower tray looking it could do with replacing but other than that all fixtures and fittings were in excellent working order. We had dinner in the restaurant using an itison voucher, we both got the burger which was ok. It was a good size but quite dense would maybe try the restaurant again but with full menu to see if there was nicer options. Service in the restaurant was quick and friendly. Overall and excellent experience

Stay was amazing from beginning to end. They responded to my e-Mail and then when we arrived we were really welcomed and upgraded. Fantastic hotel.

I was hesitant to stay at a chain hotel in the UK, but this Courtyard ended up being the perfect place for us. When we checked in, they were so helpful explaining how best to get around and giving us ideas of where to go. It was an easy to walk to restaurants, the University, Kelvingrove Park, and the museum. It's also close to a subway stop that takes you to city center and the botanic gardens.

Lovely hotel, great location for the OVO & SEC, also 20 min walk from the city centre. This is my 2nd stay & will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel. Good valuge for money. Staff friendly and professional. Rooms are a good size. Clean and well maintained. Hotel is in perfect location for Ovo Secc and Armadillo. Also within short train ride to city centre. Train easily accessible within 10 min walk.

Great location if have a show on and walkable to lots of fab restaurants and bars

This hotel was right beside the Ovo/Hydro which was perfect for our stay. We got reduced rate car parking as the hotel validated our ticket. Reasonably priced food and drinks so we ate in the hotel. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again

If you are visiting for an event in the OVO this hotel is absolutely perfect.

Excellent location with good breakfast. Would be worth if in breakfast there are some Asian Halal options like Halwa Puri. Parking needs to be free which is currently £12 after hotel validation.

Decent hotel and good value for money. I did think it was a little isolated from town centre. Also found the beers expensive at £7.00 each. I would stay again though.

Great new clean hotel. Close to all the event centres and a quick walk to the national rail station to get to the city centre. Friendly staff and a comfortable room.

We had a fantastic experience at the Courtyard Marriott in Glasgow. The hotel was incredibly clean, and the rooms were beautifully designed. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was also a highlight: everything was fresh, with plenty of options to suit all tastes. A perfect start to the day! Overall, a top-quality stay. Whether you’re in Glasgow for business or a city break, I highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Once again we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Excellent customer service. Breakfast was good but could have been hotter. We will definitely be back.

Great for overnight if attending concert etc. Bar was very slow as under staffed. Ran out of draft lager early evening & then bottled lager. Other than that enjoyed our stay

We chose this hotel as we were visiting the Hydro - couldn't do better than that for location. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. Only issue, food was so expensive at the hotel. More than in other cities. Breakfast was £17. There was no room service so after the event, we couldn't order dinner (probably for the best as it would have cost too much). There was a small pantry there.
