Staff member was extremely helpful when I checked in. Made it a lot easier. I was glad they had a computer/printer as I needed that; using it was very easy. I noticed there was no soap in the bathroom near the breakfast area. Another member of my party said there hadn’t been soap in the other bathroom the previous night. For reasons of sanitation, I felt there should be soap in the bathroom.

Got kicked out of the pool at 9. There is only 1 guy that works the whole place with 2 cleaning ladies. Roaches behind the refrigerator and microwave.

The bed was extremely comfortable. And the continental breakfast daily was pretty good. Not so good aspects; The elevator to the second floor was down the entire stay and the ice machine on the main ground was not working the entire stay. We had ants in the bathroom. And maid service was iffy. One day they may come at 8:30am another day 10:00am or not at all.

Better than expected! The Quality Inns I’ve seen are mostly older, unrenovated hotels which makes them less expensive. Most I’ve seen are also poorly maintained and managed - HAPPILY, this one was not. Well maintained, nice lobby, better than average breakfast, nice clean pool area. A definite “gem” of a Quality Inn.

The hotel is in a great location. The free breakfast was a great amenity. They offered a hot breakfast with grits, egg, sausage, etc. The rooms needed to be updated. My kids noticed the lamp shade as stained as son as they walked in. There were stains on the lower sheets. One of the sheets had about a 7 inch by 7inch cut as I'd they tried to cut out a stain. I was not satisfied with that at all. I actually ended up going to Sam's Club and purchasing 2 sets of sheets to put on the bed for my kids and I to have a sanitary place to sleep. The pool was obviously closed, and it was not because of weather. It was 80 all weekend but the pool was not clean. The elevators were covered in cardboard on the inside. I asked for extra washcloths because my room only had 2. They did not have any so he gave me hand towels instead. I have never experienced that. The staff was very nice and friendly but my family and i did not have a good experience with our accommodations. The website is very misleading

The property has been recently renovated and is clean and spacious. Convenient location to drive to surrounding area. Breakfast was provided and coffee was good! The elevator was not working during my stay which is why I gave only a 4star rating to facilities.

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness. I arrived late and didn’t have time to change rooms due to the hotel being packed. The paint was chipping badly in the bathroom, bathroom tub area dirty and some moldy spots on hand rail, cigarette burn holes in both bedspreads, and lukewarm water for the shower. I told the desk about the issues and they offered to get me a new room or have someone address the issues. I unfortunately did not have the time due to an event I needed to attend and change rooms or have maintenance look at the room when I could be there. However, I did sleep very well with the incredible pillows and the customer service was outstanding!!!

Rented 2 rooms for a one night layover.. the lobby smelled like sewage that should have been clue 1. Then to the rooms.. the rooms smelled terrible I can’t even label it. The comforters were visibly stained and the “clean towels” were brown/yellowish. Floors clearly not mopped. We checked out 6 hours later and kept moving. Disgusting hotel , I didn’t have the time or energy to get a refund but I wish I had. This may not be the “hotels fault” but there was also a dope head acting squirrelly around the door when we checked in at 9pm. At 3am when we booked out if there, same dude was slumped over next to our door.

The hotel was decent but it was like little effort was put into cleaning it. The floor was sticky all over and our shower looked like it hadn’t been touched. We had giant black ants all over the floor and the room was very muggy no matter how low the air was. The breakfast was probably the best part of the stay.

Decent for a one night stay. Hallways wreaked of smoke and weed. Noisy hallways at night could hear people yelling. Water at sink wouldn’t turn hot/warm. Clumps of hair behind bathroom door and the bathroom overall felt dirty. Front desk staff friendly. Decent for a short little stay.

The front staff was very friendly, but the room smelled heavily of smoke and there were burn holes in the blankets. The plugs were so loose that none of our phones could charge because the cords kept slipping out. The bathroom was clean. Overall it was affordable but we would choose somewhere else next time.

Stayed for 6 nights. Water for showers was lukewarm the entire time. Internet is spotty. Beds are super comfortable though! Overall with the exception of the water, we had a nice stay. Very nice renovations to entire hotel.

I stayed in phase 2 room 126. It was very loud, doors slamming, people talking loudly. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that there was no microwave in the dining area for breakfast. Overall stay was great. C. Latimore

Room was clean, seemed to be freshly painted. Bathroom was clean. Beds were comfortable. A/C unit was loud and it kept the kids up some. Breakfast was decent. There were premade cheese omelette, sausage, and French toast sticks (all seemed to have been microwaved) and a waffle maker. The rest was nothing to brag about. Internet was atrocious, do not plan to try to work out of your room.

I wanted to like it. It is newly renovated but a couple really bad things. I usually don’t write reviews so take it for what it’s worth: 1. The entire place is ceramic floors. I was in room away from the lobby and there were people in the lobby until 3 in the morning and it sounded like they were just outside my door—sounded like I was in a bathroom or a pool. I couldn’t sleep 2. Hairs on the shower wall 3. New bathroom faucets are pretty but they don’t stick out enough—you can’t get your hands under to get water without making a mess. 4. Front staff seemed annoyed that I was there.

This was one of the worst stays i’ve ever had in a Hotel . I came with my Grandson Tyler Jr to 12047 Guion Ln, Matthews, NC 28105 to stay so we could see my other grandson Kobi P and on the 2nd day of our stay Tyler Jr sneakers were stolen from our room while we were out. I reported the incident to the front desk who said the manager on Duty (Hazel Vasquez)would call me back, but it’s been a month & nobody from management ever called me back, before i left North carolina i filed a police report with local police department. I reported the incident to corporate with little to no expectation at this point. However they did give me a case number. I caution anyone who stays in this Hotel, keep your valuables on your person or your vehicle. I mean how do you steal a kid’s sneakers right before school…& then run a business & never respond the complaint or person that filed it ??i booked from 7/29-7/31 ….RLH jr

Only went with this hotel for the free breakfast.. first two days there were no eggs the last day they only had egg whites and I tried for three days to make a waffle but every time I tried the spout was broken. I’ve never been so frustrated and ended up eating McDonald’s for three days. Save your money and go somewhere else

Clean, Comfortable, and Great Service – With One Odd Detail We stayed for two nights at Quality Inn after a horrible experience elsewhere, and overall it was a great choice. The room was spotless—no carpet, no mold—and felt freshly renovated. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Breakfast was included and well-stocked each morning. Only downside? The rat bait boxes outside were a bit disconcerting to see in plain view, but inside the hotel was clean and pest-free. Still, we felt safe and well taken care of. Would definitely return.
