A lovely setting by the river, fantastic outdoor seating area. Friendly staff and great sized double room. Personally i found the mattress was very hard but a very enjoyable stay.

The pub itself is absolutely lovely. Amazing out side space by the river. Beautiful inside. Food was really good. All the staff were really nice and friendly. Good atmosphere especially for a midweek evening. Hotel room was clean and bed was comfy. Shower also had good pressure / temp. Bathroom and some decor a little tierd in places. We really enjoyed our stay and the room was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was also really enjoyable.

The hotel is in a small village conveniently situated close to the NAEC at Stoneleigh Park. It has about 20 rooms and a bar and restaurant. There is also ample parking.

Great place close to Coventry. Excellent staff ( bar one at breakfast) We ate Dinner there both nights, very enjoyable.Has separate bar and outside area. Handy for visiting places such as Warwick, Leamington & Kenilworth. The building does need a little TLC but wouldn’t put us off staying again. Not good for public transport though.

The rooms at this hotel, at least the one they choose to give us was in really bad shape. The tap in our room was leaking and had a lot of buildup on it, disgusting. The mirrors were not cleaned and the headboard was in a bad state, adding to the bad experience. In the dining room we were not welcome to dine since the entire restaurant was occupied by guests not staying at the hotel. No warning that you had to make reservations weeks before was given to us. We later on got a table by the bar… the starters contained frozen products even though they said they would be fresh. The staff was nice but unwilling to go the extra mile to make this an experience we would have enjoyed. Even when the new staff had arrived in the morning and we wanted to check out, no one asked us how our stay was… maybe they now it’s only a 2/5 rate stay and don’t wish to bother any more.

We have just had a lovely few days at The Old Mill at Baginton. The room was lovely and clean, very comfortble with a view over the river. The bed was nice and comfy. The rception staff were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate every night at The Chef and Brewer right next door. We were served by Megan every night. She was lovely, so cheerul and helpful, she worked really hard looking after all her customers and made sure everyone had exactly what they wanted. In the morning we had breakfast in The Chef and Brewer we were served by Zuz, she was wonderful. The breakfast was good, lots of choice and all delicious. Really set us up for the day. We had a wonderful time and would certainly go back there next time we are in the area.

Stayed overnight at the Old Mill for business due to location. Met with friendly efficient staff at reception and promptly arrived at room which unfortunately was very tired, some investment to refurbish wouldn’t go a miss. The bathroom was not a pleasant experience, also requiring attention including significant mould. The pub/restaurant adjoined was reasonably busy but attentive staff made for a pleasant experience. The location was convenient for me and the large car park with EV charging a plus.

On arrival there wasn't anyone to check us in, you have to wait for someone to answer the bell to come around from the bar/dining area. First impressions were the corridors and room were "tired", the carpet was well used and the silicone and grout in the bathroom had mould signs showing it was time to freshen the grout and re-silicone. We stayed 2 nights Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday breakfast area was quiet and the full English breakfast excellent, morning 2, I was still full from the breakfast the day before so just had the lighter options. A special mention must go to the breakfast server who was there both Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday was extremely busy and milk, juices, coffee needed constant replenishment whilst there was a continual stream of arrivals wanting tables, orders to be taken, diners served and tables cleared. She was a credit, calm, polite, courteous whilst always busy. The hotel has character, a river adding interest, no stress parking and without a doubt we would stay again. It was a relaxing stay for our Son's graduation, just what we needed

Room clean, bed firm and comfortable. However room very tatty and bathroom dated. Had problems with heating that was promptly sorted, however a problem with the bathroom sink was never addressed even after being reported to various members of staff. Ate in the restaurant on both nights, food ok but nothing special, service was extremely slow , so slow that we decided against a dessert as we couldn't face the wait. We noticed other guests commenting that they were not happy with the wait

It was easy to find and close to the University and Coventry. The room was lovely with a view of the brook and trees, very relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. Thank you.

Such a pleasant surprise. I have spent over 55 years travelling around the world, mainly on business. Sadly, the UK proved to be the most disappointing country for hotels and restaurants. Not this one. A pleasant and helpful receptionist, a superb team in the bar and restaurant for dinner and breakfast this morning. A bedroom twice the size of any Premier Inn, a super king bed, most comfortable. All in all, one of the most positive experiences all round. Congratulations to all the great team which made our stay a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The lady on reception was really nice and friendly made the check in easy we were chatting about walks in the area she gave a good walk then Louis walked past and wrote down a couple which was a fab help. Room was nice but right next to patio so was awake till silly o clock with people drinking in the pub it was so noisy. Had a meal there and Lois was our sever the food was really nice and hot served quick. Would stay again just not in that room

This looks like a nice place to stay and the overall building looks good from the outside. My issue is simply that they had unfortunately experienced a flood the week before and carpets had had to be pulled up and facilities such as gents toilets were not available, plus there was a slight smell of damp. The food was excellent as was the overall service from reception to the restaurant, but the room I had was very tired and the lighting was antiquated ie having to get out of bed to turn of lights and no usb facilities in the rom at their plugs - Now all this can be looked at as trivial, but I stay in this area a lot and for £100 a night without breakfast, I feel it is way overpriced for what is also available in the area at a less or comparable price, BUT with more amenities as mentioned and not as tired looking concerning the decor.

The location was great and perfect for our needs. The bedroom was large and in good condition. However, the bed and pillows were far too hard for us and the room was extremely hot. We did try to turn the heating down but this didn't seem possible. The food in the restaurant dinner and breakfast, was average. However, all of the staff were friendly.

First impressions were the corridors and room were "tired", the carpet was well used and the silicone and grout in the bathroom had mould signs showing it was time to freshen the grout and re-silicone. We stayed 2 nights Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday breakfast area was quiet and the full English breakfast excellent, morning 2, I was still full from the breakfast the day before so just had the lighter options. A special mention must go to the breakfast server who was there both Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday was extremely busy and milk, juices, coffee needed constant replenishment whilst there was a continual stream of arrivals wanting tables, orders to be taken, diners served and tables cleared. She was a credit, calm, polite, courteous whilst always busy. The hotel has character, a river adding interest, no stress parking and without a doubt we would stay again. It was a relaxing stay for our Son's graduation, just what we needed

The highlight was the sunday dinner roast. Absolutely wonderful. However, receptionist services seem patchy. Room was comfortable and very warm (for the week that had snow fallen). Some amentities can be upgraded, but wasnt a huge bother if one is not picky for a city break.

Hotel was in good location for my meeting, Room was large and clean..The Internet in hotel was shocking ( Really not good when you booked hotel for business trip ). Restaurant staff were poor, slow. Food was ok when it finally arrived

Room clean, bed firm and comfortable. However room very tatty and bathroom dated. Had problems with heating that was promptly sorted, however a problem with the bathroom sink was never addressed even after being reported to various members of staff. Ate in the restaurant on both nights, food ok but nothing special, service was extremely slow , so slow that we decided against a dessert as we couldn't face the wait. We noticed other guests commenting that they were not happy with the wait

A lovely setting by the river, fantastic outdoor seating area. Friendly staff and great sized double room. Personally i found the mattress was very hard but a very enjoyable stay.

It was easy to find and close to the University and Coventry. The room was lovely with a view of the brook and trees, very relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. Thank you.

The hotel is in a small village conveniently situated close to the NAEC at Stoneleigh Park. It has about 20 rooms and a bar and restaurant. There is also ample parking.

Great place close to Coventry. Excellent staff ( bar one at breakfast) We ate Dinner there both nights, very enjoyable.Has separate bar and outside area. Handy for visiting places such as Warwick, Leamington & Kenilworth. The building does need a little TLC but wouldn’t put us off staying again. Not good for public transport though.

After camping for 4nights we decided we needed a comfortable bed and a bath on our last night. The Old Mill was perfect for us. Nice staff good food beautiful quiet setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our stopover. Thank You all at The Old Mill Brian & Teresa Moore

Large carpark. Lovely property. Welcoming staff reception to restaurant. Rooms spacious beds comfortable. Warm at night so open Ur window. Food n drink is price, food was excellent tho. Outside smokers and non smoker patio over river.

The pub itself is absolutely lovely. Amazing out side space by the river. Beautiful inside. Food was really good. All the staff were really nice and friendly. Good atmosphere especially for a midweek evening. Hotel room was clean and bed was comfy. Shower also had good pressure / temp. Bathroom and some decor a little tierd in places. We really enjoyed our stay and the room was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was also really enjoyable.

The hotel was nice I had a lovely room overlooking the river. The meal I had on Sunday evening was the worst I have had in many years both in food quality (it was stewed to hell) and service.

Excellent large room and comfy bed. Everything you need for one night. Separate seating area and good amenity tray. Toiletries sparse but not a problem. Hotel rooms have seen a lot of wear and need updating now.
