Clean room, fun location, good buffet breakfast. But difficult to access in a car. Parking lot was extremely difficult to find, and to bring our luggage to the hotel. It was located on a pedestrian only street, the hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly, but very poor at giving directions for parking lot access- which took about 30 minutes for us to figure out the one way streets and unmarked parking lot entrance. No elevator in the garage, so we had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs to get our luggage. There needs to be a better way to designate a landmark you can put into maps to help you find the parking garage. And it would be helpful if the staff helped you with your luggage on arrival, and not just check out. On check out the bellman was wonderful, helped us take luggage to the parking garage, down the steps, load into car, and then walked us through garage to find the right exit.

I was disappointed with my stay here. The hotel’s Expedia listing mentioned limited on-site parking and off-site parking for €20, but it failed to warn that the hotel is in a pedestrian-only zone closed to cars. Arriving by car was a frustrating experience—we couldn’t reach the hotel and ultimately had to park in a public garage for a higher amount. What really bothered me was the reception’s attitude: completely unapologetic. My low rating is not just about the parking, but the poor communication and lack of hospitality.

Although it’s situated in a pedestrian zone, it’s just a few steps away from a main road where taxis can easily pick you up or drop you off- practically right at the hotel entrance. All major attractions are within walking distance, as well as restaurants, cafés, and the beach. When it comes to location, it truly doesn’t get better than this. The hotel itself is very comfortable and beautifully designed. It features a restaurant and bar on the top floor, offering a fantastic view. The food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner are high quality and delicious. Great location for 3 days or so staying in Malaga. You're in the heart of the City with everything walkable. Uber will drop you about 2 to 3 minutes walking distance. Rooftop is amazing with good option in that restaurant at a reasonable price

Sehr gutes Hotel an zentraler Lage. Infrastruktur, Möbel in Zimmern alles neuwertig. Zimmer war geräumig, hell und sehr sauber. Trotz der zentralen Lage war das Zimmer sehr ruhig (gut isolierte Fenster). Auf dem Dachstock gibt es eine schönes Restaurant mit Terrasse, welche eine schöne Sicht auf die Innenstadt und die Kathedrale erlaubt. Reception ist rund um die Uhr besetzt, ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Preis-Niveau eher im oberen Bereich, der Zustand des Hotels, die Lage und der Service rechtfertigt allerdings einen etwas höheren Preis. Gerne wieder.

We loved this hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, for example carrying our bags up to our room. Location was very central so perfect for sightseeing, bars and restaurants. We didnt eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food but there is an amazing bar/restaurant on the top floor with incredible views of the cathedral etc. Hotel and room were spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Great location in the heart of the old area of Malaga. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant on the day we arrived. The staff in the restaurant provided excellent customer service. The view from the rooftop is great. The rooms were nice but for the price the cleanliness was not up to par. There was mould in the bathroom shower and extensive dust on the ventilation system, headboard and other areas of the room. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The amenities in the room were good - nespresso, toothbrush/toothpaste, combs, shaving kit, good quality bath products etc. The staff at the front desk were "hit or miss". Some were great and very helpful others seemed like they couldn't care less about their job or the customers. The Guest Experience person was useless. Our travel companions emailed to request help with booking an excursion prior to our arrival. We stayed for three nights and never did hear back from the Guest Experience person. When I called the front desk to ask a question, they told me I had to speak with the Guest Experience person yet that person was never at the desk. Overall, I preferred the Palacio Solecio boutique hotel over this hotel. Aside from the restaurant and the comfortable bed, this hotel didn't really impress me.

Hotel bien situé dans une belle rue piétonne. Pas loin du port et station taxi, Bon accueil , mais pas de jus d’orange ou mini sandwich alors que plus tard on s’aperçoit que si mais pas pour nous. Il est vrai que les 2 jeunes filles arrivées sont certainement plus intéressantes…. Pas grave! Mais frustrant. Le petit déjeuner est royal, avec un très bon accueil. Un jour notre chambre n’a pas été faite bien que nous avions mis « faire la chambre » de 9h à 15h30. Malgré cela je recommande vivement

I forhold til hvad vi har været vant til hos jer, var det aldeles ringe. Misforståelser mht. morgenmad som før var automatisk inkluderet, - var det ikke med automatisk denne gang. det beløb sig til 7.011 kr for 4 dages hotelophold hvor morgenmad ikke er inkluderet. Samtidig Tv virkede ikke, måtte tilkalde tekniker for at få det ordnet. Skimmelsvamp på bedeværelset observerede vi også.

Excellent location just a short walk from multiple dining options and shopping. Close to all the public transportation and the taxi stand. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Very clean and comfortable room. The walls should be refreshed as there are some stains and spots. My room was facing back of the main entrance, so, my stay was quiet.

Mycket nöjd med hotellet! Bokat ett dubbelrum standard med Queensize säng och fick ett sådant på tredje våningen med utsikt om huvud-/gågatan. Rummet var enligt bilder på internet, alltså enligt förväntan. Bra Air kondition. Fin och fräsch inredning i allmänhet. Trots full aktivitet på kvällarna på huvudgatan hördes det ingenting när man hade stängt dörrarna till den franska balkongen. Restaurangen lång på 6:e våningen och man kunde äta både inne och ute. Fantastisk god cesarsallad hade dem, en av det godaste jag ätit! God frukost och utbud. Rekommenderar deras american pancakes med choklad. Personal var trevliga, gästvänliga och snabba med service. Mycket centralt beläget och gick därför endast promenader och Voi i området. Mycket affärer, matställen och souvenir butiker. Nära Málagas hamn och bad. Fin strand! Det som var mindre bra var att det var lakan under och över täcket, istället för påslakan. Vilket var lite omständligt när jag skulle vira om mig i täcket. Handfatet var på gränsen för högt, då jag är kort och det blev lätt vatten runt om. Rekommenderar detta hotell! :D

Had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The highlight was the super comfortable bed and pillows - I truly had the best night's sleep! It is also in a super convenient location to walk to all of the sights of Malaga's beautiful old town, as well as the port and Malagueta beach. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. It was a perfect stay!

An amazing location this property is right on the main strip of stores. Very quiet and freezing AC in the room fantastic ! the bathroom as modern and the bed was so comfortable. extremely pleased. Great roof top had a few cocktails at night but did not get to have dinner on the property. I strongly recommend this property because the location is the best of all !!!!

Right in the heart of the city. Convenient for shopping and dining. We asked for a quiet room but late night parties were noisy outside. We asked for an early check in but despite being told we would get one, our room still wasn’t ready at the official 3pm check in. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had an amazing electric toilet! Buffet breakfast was good with lots of choices and whatever special hot meal you wanted. (€15 per person) Good hotel but we wouldn’t stay there again due to the noise outside.

I did like this hotel (proximity to stores, cafes and restaurants but the bathrooms are very small (only one sink for the occupancy of 2 twins beds). The toilet area is an inconvenience because of the bathroom door. The bathrooms can only be used by one person at a time, very inconvenient as it is time consuming especially in the morning.

Unbeatable location, super clean, beautiful rooftop bar. We started in a city view double then upgraded to the Double Essence room which had a large balcony. Both rooms were very comfortable and of a similar size.

Great location in the heart of the old area of Malaga. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant on the day we arrived. The staff in the restaurant provided excellent customer service. The view from the rooftop is great. The rooms were nice but for the price the cleanliness was not up to par. There was mould in the bathroom shower and extensive dust on the ventilation system, headboard and other areas of the room. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The amenities in the room were good - nespresso, toothbrush/toothpaste, combs, shaving kit, good quality bath products etc. The staff at the front desk were "hit or miss". Some were great and very helpful others seemed like they couldn't care less about their job or the customers. The Guest Experience person was useless. Our travel companions emailed to request help with booking an excursion prior to our arrival. We stayed for three nights and never did hear back from the Guest Experience person. When I called the front desk to ask a question, they told me I had to speak with the Guest Experience person yet that person was never at the desk. Overall, I preferred the Palacio Solecio boutique hotel over this hotel. Aside from the restaurant and the comfortable bed, this hotel didn't really impress me.

Very nice hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. It’s located on the street with all the shops and restaurants. Taxi station, Malaga central market, Picasso museum and the cathedral are all close to the hotel. Room service was great. The staff are very friendly and nice. Our flight was cancelled and we had to scramble to find a hotel for the evening. What a relief to land here! The staff could not have been nicer — warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful at a stressful time. The location is also fantastic, with plenty of great options to pop out for dinner just steps away. I booked this hotel on short notice and I relied on Expedia reviews to make my decision. I'm glad I booked this hotel because the service is top quality, the location is perfect, and the facility is well maintained. The rooftop bar has great selections and the staff went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. For instance, I requested a breakfast styled lunch at 3pm and they delivered my eggs and bread as requested. I booked this hotel while on the train from Madrid to Malaga and I fully recommend it primarily for the staff, location, and condition.

Nice place; spent three February nights here. The hotel faces a busy and sometimes high energy walking plaza in the center of the hub-bub of Malaga. Location couldn't have been better for those who want to visit the city. Malaga is a very walkable city. A main street is about a block away so it's a two-minute walk when dropped off or when you want to find a cab. Easy! The location has a great vibe with a feeling of safety and security. The rooms are charming; up to date, modern, clean and very comfortable. In fact, both the bed and the pillows suited me nicely. The air control is a little bit difficult but workable. You can run the heat or air with the circulating fan but no fan without heat/air. They keep the rooms much too warm for me so I turned off the system and opened windows. Not great on weekends because the party crowds are noisy until 6 AM. Bring ear plugs if you want the window open! The bathroom is nice and comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean (why are there no wash cloths in Europe?). Price was fair considering its prime location. Breakfast was wonderful on the top floor which includes a roof-top patio overlooking the Cathedral and city view. There is a wide choice of breakfast food from fruits, cheeses, yogurts, meats, breads, eggs, bacons/hams etc. There are plenty of sweets as well. Additionally, they will make breakfast to order. The only down side is that they use a Nespresso machine for coffee. really..no more space to write...

This is an excellent hotel in a great position. We had a very good welcome, with our bags taken as we entered the hotel. After being offered water, the check-in was efficient. We booked a standard double, which was very spacious and immaculately clean. Malaga was the beginning of as 1 week S Spain family tour and finding this property was a bit of an accident. However the property and the location were so excellent that we extended and stayed an additional evening. As the title stays, this is an exceptional property... however there are 2 areas to note: 1.) the rooftop bar is a wrap-around covering 3 sides. Given the celebration going on in Malaga and the limited sight-lines for the staff, 1 server was not enough. It was simply understaffed; and 2.) Of the 6 meals we had there over the 2 days, 2 places were at the recommendation of the front desk - and they they were the only "bad" (and they really were "not good" - unusual for this region) places we visited. Not uncommon, many hotels encourage certain establishments, and these 2 restaurants were just average / poor. Suggestion - don't ask the hotels for recommendations - just go explore. Other than that, this was an exceptional property.

The breakfast on the rooftop is delicious and perfectly accompanied by the fantastic view of Malaga city. Staff are super helpful and very accommodating, making any check in effortless.
