Lake Front Hotel

No microwave or coffee maker in the room. Ice machine was broken. Television only worked , maybe, half the time.

Great restaurant/bar and just a block from the Hall of Fame! Right on the lake. Perfect

Parking is a bit limited for all the rooms. Everything else is great.

Disappointed that no coffee in room and not available in the office until 8:00. Great location to Baseball Hall of Fame Museum!!

We enjoyed spending a short time in Cooperstown. We were a weekend too late to be able to enjoy the restaurant as it closed for the season. The room was comfortable, however it had limited amenities. It did have a mini frig. There was no in room coffeemaker- which is a nice feature. The hotel did offers coffee and tea at their front desk across the street. The parking lot had fewer spaces than rooms in the section we were staying. You would have had to park on the street. We would like to review again once the restaurant is open. It was very close to the Main Street and stores.

Peaceful quaint lake front motel with attached restaurant and lake boat ride. Staff was super friendly. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 6am with no apparent fire issue.

Nice location. The nearby restaurant was closed due to Wifi going down.

Walk to town. Restaurant on site was good. Staff was helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable on the smaller size My only issue was parking. I think maybe lines should be painted even in the stone parking lot. Some people would take up 1&1/2 spaces. If everyone parked correctly I don’t think it would have been an issue. I will definitely be going back. Great location

Quite comfortable and views of the Marina were great. Supplied outdoor seating in front of room which was very good. Restaurants in the area including one attached to hotel were quite pricey but because we had a refrigerator in room we shopped at price chopper and ate in room. Coffee was available in lobby of motel but would have been nicer to have in room.

Nice property near the lake and a short walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Overpriced for the average condition and size of king bed room category. Bathroom floor sticky, minimal amount of towels and bathroom amenities. Seemed room wasn’t used in a while and not properly prepped for next guest. Batteries to AC/heat control had to be replaced, tissues & alarm clock hidden in end table draw. No coffee maker in room. Nice modern room but could be a lot better with more attention to issues.

Very disappointed in this place. When we walked in, the room had a strong musty smell. The TV didn't work properly as well. The night person was eventually able to get the TV working and just gave us a bottle of febreeze to cover up the musty smell. He said he would try to get us a different room but that never materialized. (There were vacancies.) Although we were told that we would have housekeeping each day, they came in once. Only saving grace was the shower, which was oddly pleasant. But the fan in the bathroom dripped on you when you stood in front of the mirror. The location to the town center was nice. However, won't stay again and won't recommend.

They have a super friendly staff and a great location but the cleanliness of the room is what you expect more from a $100/night motel room not one that costs $400/night.

Location is great and exactly what we wanted. Walking distance to everything in town and so nice to have chairs along the docks to sit by water and on front porch. We got lucky with a 2nd floor room with a view of the lake. However the room smelled really bad like mildew. It was clean enough but the smell was awful and I tried to be understanding since it’s by the lake and I realize that’s part of lake living but it gave me a headache and I couldn’t sleep. The vent hangs over the bed so that made it even worse I think. The grounds on property were clean, the staff I encountered at check in were friendly and check in was easy. The room is small but good enough for a weekend. I could not stay there any longer than that length. Glad I came once but not sure I would stay again. The restaurant on site is good but needs some cleaning also.

The room was very clean. People were very nice! When we decided to retire for the evening, it felt like the sheets on the bed were not dry, we had to get our blanket from our vehicle and sleep on top of the bed. Needless to say we didn’t sleep very good at all.

Extremely clean and well kept. Small but complete in anything that you might need. Excellent atmosphere and environment.

Lake view was luscious, staff were very friendly and helpful. The only quibble I have were the bugs--seven or eight of them, one rather large and dead which I almost stepped on in the bathroom. So they may want to check on that. Otherwise, fine.

I would have rated this property excellent. It truly was a fantastic location. It is a motel in the true definition of a 1960’s motel. Very cute and kitschy. Walkable everywhere. I watched a young man spend over an hour one morning dust and sweep every nook and cranny of the exterior building windows, doors, walkway overhang ceiling, stairs. Spotless. Each doorway had two chairs in front under the window. We read books. It was really sweet. Our room interior and bathroom were just as clean. Not a spot of dust or dirt on anything. Furniture, baseboards, and bathrooms were spotless. Now here it comes I am sure this is the reason for their prepay in full policy … the owners of this property must address the moisture problem and resulting mold smell. I went to the office and received the response that it was because people leave their ac’s on. Sorry folks you can’t blame that. I saw reviews mentioned room dampness and damp sheets. Our sheets were absolutely damp. We put the ac setting on dry and this helped. Since we arrived late and were leaving early, we grabbed the emergency breakdown blankets out of the car and slept on those on top of the bed It is with regret that we cannot recommend the property. It’s really is a shame. This property could be a real goldmine.

Very close to the baseball hall of fame. Friendly staff. The restaurant was good but it would have been nice the weren't blasting political talk on tv. Our room left a lot to be desired. No microwave, very thin walls (you can here your neighbors beside you and above you). They don't give you handsoap, you're expected to use shower gel to wash your hands. Not a big deal but at what they charge, I don't think its too much to ask to have a small microwave and some hand soap.

Beautiful view of the lake. Good restaurant and a complimentary boat trip with room rate. Hotel is old and could use some upgrades.

It is very dated and our room was freezing when we got there. Took a bit to warm up. There isn’t anything to put things down on in bathroom, just a pedestal sink. Shower was nicer. It was clean. Only 2 little bed pillows, but bed was comfortable. Chairs need new cushions. It was like sitting on a rock. For the price, I’d expect better.

This is a motel. It’s “nice” overall, but there are some inconveniences. 1. Limited parking 2. No desk or workspace in the room to do remote work 3. No counter space at all in the bathroom. A standalone sink with no counter. 4. Small room, very little room to move around. 5. No microwave 6. The TV is extremely small Of course, we weren’t there to watch TV, but the room just seemed very small and inconvenient. The cost was too high for the value offered.

Overall our stay was a beautiful experience. Cooperstown is a charming place and we loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There’s a restaurant nearby that was really convenient and delicious. Walkable to downtown and other dining options. Our only complaints are that we could hear our neighbors clearly, such as their full conversations. One of our neighbors snored pretty loudly and we could hear it. I suggest ear plugs! The room would get stuffy quickly, especially after a shower. I suggest installing a fan in the bathrooms to help with it. Overall, comfortable stay aside from the notes above. My husband and I can’t wait to go again!

The hotel rooms themselves are pretty dated and small but wow, what a location!! Right on the lake, beautiful views. Restaurant steps away from your room that has delicious food. Walking distance to so many things in Cooperstown. Would definitely stay here again, great memories made during our stay here!!!

Very quiet clean room walkable to everything you need in Cooperstown. Changing channels on the TV was difficult however, as they hid the cable box behind the TV so getting the remote to work was hit and miss.

Very clean and updated for the most part. Trouble getting the TV (small sized) to operate correctly. Same issue with the room next door. Great location. On site restaurant closed for the season.

Staff was unfriendly. Office staff in evening was outside smoking pot with buddy. Limited parking. Restaurant at hotel had horrible service. More friendly with locals.

This property was a pleasant surprise located right down the street from the HOF. We received excellent service and definitely would stay again.

Ideal location on the lake. Staff was incredibly responsive to an issue with my room one night and friendly with questions. Easy walking distance to Main Street. The restaurant was good with quick service. Room is small but fully met my needs.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before. It’s got a great location in downtown Cooperstown right on the lake. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We go late in the fall and the front desk is not there full time but when they were, they were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend.

Checking in was fast and easy. Parking was very convenient. Walkable to all the attractions. Very clean.

The Property is in an ideal location for exploring Cooperstown on foot and was Clean with very friendly staff. About 3 minutes to Hall of Fame and no more than 6-8 minutes to all the shops, bars and restaurants on Main St or you can eat at the restaurant on property which was very good.

The hotel is right next to the lake and is just a few minutes walk from Main Street, Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the room was quiet. There is the Lakefront Restaurant and a boat tour connected to the hotel. We had a lovely stay.

A wonderful place to stay in Cooperstown. On beautiful Lake Ostego, 2 blocks from the Hall of Fame and downtown area.

The hotel itself is very nice and sits on a beautiful piece of property. The service was better than most. The bed was just okay, rooms smelled very musty but clean. Parking is a little tough. Cute little restaurant attached to the hotel. Good food, a little pricey. As far as what u paid for one night…not that happy.

Always great to stay at this property. Always clean, the restaurant is nice and it’s a 3 minute walk up to the center of town.

Beautiful setting on the lake. Clean rooms are rather small but not in them much. Nice chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. Restaurant had good food and drinks with nice staff. Walked around town and to the baseball hall of fame.

Very convenient to Main St Cooperstown; easily walkable. Beautiful approach to and view of the lake. Onsite restaurant is a perk - only had breakfast there once but it was good; dinnertime hours were usually crowded.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Front Hotel. The facility was very clean both inside and out. The restaurant in the premises had a nice menu- we had apps and breakfast the next morning. The serving staff was very friendly and the food was good. Short walk into the town from the hotel!

A beautiful very convenient location to the Baseball Hall of Fame, museums and small stores. Friendly professional staff. The Lake Front restaurant is a gem. Great food and excellent service. (The hotel gives you a $5.00 coupon and it's worth it!) The room was clean with sufficient amenities. Comfortable with wi-fi and we were located at the end of the rooms without disturbance. The couple next door was a speaking a little too loud, so the rooms are not totally silent. But this was a minor hiccup. Fresh tea and coffee are in the office for those looking for a cup. The lake front views are dramatic with a morning mist arising and the quack of local ducks. Look no further for the perfect spot to stay in Cooperstown!
